I came here for 2 months never really had a issue. But this time I got a gel glitter French tip. I didn't really like them had a appointment so i had to leave. After going home and noticing clumps and you could see the tip thru the polish I wanted them fixed. The next day they told me it would be 20$ when i already paid 50$ the day before...for UGLY NAILS. I can’t believe I paid for #4 pedicure and receive basic services...she clean my hands at the nail bar versus asking me to get up and wash my nails and I was really disgusted when she clean some of the nail items in the pedicure water... I knew at that point I wasn’t coming back then further how she did my nails I have left the nail salon with dried up clear nail polish all around my nail the gel color I asked for they didn’t have then she tells me the color she pick looks better on my color skin versus the lilac purple I pick it looks better on darker skin people. I got a mani/pedi here. My toes was French tip regular and I had gel French tip on my regular nails. Normally, gel is supposed to last 2 weeks or so but I paid too much money for my nails and toes to come off within 3-4 days of getting them done! I’m so disappointed at that! The sides of the nail were already peeling up the second day. I went back and they touched them up for free and not even a couple days later, they were peeling off. I will not go back here. Eyelash Service: Glad I didn't bring my mink lashes! So I noticed the women before me had the typical fake eyelash look, but I brought my own lashes and decided to try. They were put on uneven and she cut them too short for my eyes. I told the woman in a calm nice tone there was a huge gap and she said "my day just started and I don't want trouble." I can't fuss over $13, but I didn't want a cheap eyelash look which it was. One lash up one down with a gap in the corner. Not coming back... cheap work. Read Less

I went to get my nails done yesterday and my nails started cracking and chipping the next day. I went back to ask if they could repair one of the nails, they refused to repair it without charging me. They were not accommodating at all. I explained to the young lady exactly how I wanted my nails and she completed ignore me and now they are breaking. I also relieved a pedicure. If I could give 0 stars I would... I have NEVER had an experience this bad before. I wanted simple clear acrylics with grey matte polish. Basically the most simple thing you can get. After 20 minutes my nails still were not dry though they assured me they were. It's been 45 minutes now and even tissues and toilet paper are making marks on the nails. They wouldn't get a manager for us to speak to and refused any compensation... Then said it can take OVER 30 MINUTES for nails to dry with normal plain polish, even under a lamp and fan. I give this place 5 stars for one reason: Theany. She is the best. I've been going to her for over a decade. She always does exactly what I want and takes her time. I've had pedicures, fill in's, manicures, and eyebrow waxing all done by her. I will say if you walk in and get someone random, you maybe disappointed. I looked this place up online and it said they closed at 8 so I Went, got there at 6:50 and was told I could only do one of the three things I wanted because they were about to close at 7:30. So I agreed to do my eyelash extensions and went and sat down to wait. While waiting more people came in and they allowed them to receive service and 3 days after getting my lashes done which usually last 2 weeks they came off 2 days later, Do not go here for lashes, Tip top is wayyyy better Read Less

This was my first time to vn nails and last. I got an eyebrow wax and french manicure. I wasn't 100% pleased with the eyebrows but they were ok so we moved on to my nails. Lisa (nail tech) gave me the standard manicure and painted my nails and I thought they looked good. For the exception that some of the white nail polish ran with the clear coat on 2 nails. So it looked like I had white streaks. This was done on Friday. I stayed under the uv lights for maybe 10 or 15 minutes to allow ample time for my nails to dry. I checked them and then left. The next morning Saturday I took a shower and when I got out I realized three nails had chipped. I went back to the salon and they graciously touched up the nails that chipped. By touch up I mean pai ted over the chips. They did not take the polish off and start over. I again let my nails dry and was super careful the rest of the day. Sunday the day of our engagement pictures I got up and showered and again my nails chipped! At this point I had no time to go back for them to just touch up my nails so i bought a bottle of white nail polish and did it myself. As of today, Tuesday,  almost all the white has chipped off my nails. I am extremely disappointed and will not return to this nail salon again. Read Less

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life and I have been getting my nails done every two weeks for the last 15 years. I am very disappointed in the customer service there as well as how my nails turned out when all I wanted was a simple pink and white fill. Will never go there again. I'm picky when it comes to pedicures. VERY picky. And this place was pretty good. I had the hour pedicure and the girl did a fantastic job. And everything was incredibly clean. The parrifin was in one time use bags and the utensils were all in sealed sanitary bags. The techs didn't have their own conversations with each other the entire time (always makes me uncomfortable), they respected that we were there to relax and were very professional. DO NOT GO HERE! I just got my nails done here by a guy named Robert. Horrible!  I felt rushed the whole time! It wasn't even busy! He kept rushing my nails to stick them by the little fan next to his spot just so he can go sit behind his laptop with his earphones to his ears! On to my nails, I asked for a french manicure,  and asked that he paint the top edge. What was that for?! He did a half assed job Like how dare I ask for that. Now comes the top UV coat (Mind you, I paid an extra $5 for this), again, rushed as usual,  as he was going over my french with the tip clear coat he doesn't wipe off after the previous coat now there's a huge white streak in the middle of my nail. When I brought it up to him, he just goes over it again with the top coat (now making it even more noticeable) and I kept pointing it out and all he did was put his hand on his hip and say, "what are you saying?  It'll get better" WHATTTTTT???!!!!! I was LIVID!!! Never am I going to this place nor am I referring people here! Steer clear! for the amount you pay you can go get your nails done somewhere else! This place is really bad. I went yesterday for the first time to get my acrylic nails done. I don't have any complains about my nails. They look great , BUT the guy that did my nails was really rude. He asked me to stand up and grab the staff for him. Also he was making rude comments and he was no really gentle with my hands. Also I came from jersey and the prices there are really expensive in contrast to jersey. They charged me 45 dolars! I used to get my nails done for around 30. Also because of the price and the treatment of this guy I was mad and I decide no to give any tip and this guy was asking for the tip!. They don't know anything about costumer service. Read Less

So my friend already wrote a review for this place that mentioned me in it, but I'd like to chime in. This place was awful. It got one star because it was really clean, but that's the only positive about this place. My BFF needed her nails done and a pedi and I only wanted a pedi. I live in Cali and I just had a fill. I told the guy doing her nails that I was going to wait for her to be done so we could sit next to each other during the pedi. He was like, alright. Maybe 2 minutes later some other lady was hassling me to do my pedi RIGHT NOW! I was like, id really rather just wait but she seriously wasn't taking no for an answer. She told the guy doing my bFfS nails to stop so she could do her pedi first. I was like, wtf? I'm pretty sure that's the reason her nails were coming off, because that guy had to hurry with the glue or whatever. My pedicure was super quick and bad. My nail polish started chipping THAT night and wasn't worth $20. I may be spoiled living in Cali but seriously, I've never NOT left a tip before, until that day. Avoid this place! I've been here twice now, and each time, I've left with beautiful nails without emptying my wallet. The place is very clean and they are constantly disinfecting all items used (no worries about nail infections here!). There are about 12 massage chairs for your pedicures, all in pristine condition, and approximately just as many stations for manicures. Everyone is very welcoming and accommodating, quick and skilled. Walk ins are welcome, but I recommend making sure you get there at least an hour before they close to allow for plenty of time to get your nails done and dried properly. I'm embarrassed to say that I stopped in way to close to closing on my last trip, but they were sweet enough to take me since it had been slow. I made sure to tip a bit above the 20% norm for that. :)The company also offers waxing services and lash extensions, but I have only had my nails done. As for the nails, they do offer a variety of polish brand and colors, but you may want to bring your own as they do not always offer the latest color collections out. This way, you'll also ensure you absolutely love your color. I'm not into the posh salons where they pamper you with wine and tasty nibbles, opulent atmosphere and exclusive spa feel...and you know that's being added into the overall cost. I want no fuss, but nice, and a great result. VN Nails gives me that - and at a convenient location. They take credit card ($10 min.)  *and* they will even be happy to take payment up front so you don't rush ruining your glossy new polish. (Just remember to include the tip, too!)Convenient hours mean I don't have to try and rush there right after work. To save you the drive over to get the hours of operation, they are open Mon. - Sat. 9:30 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Sun. 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. It's in the same strip mall as Aldi and Joann Fabric, closer to the end nearest Lowes.
