Got a manicure/pedicure and they had me sitting uncomfortably so they could do both at once and my toes ended up looking completely awful... For $65!?! I could've done a better job myself and wouldn't have a back ache now... Read Less

HORRIBLE customer service!!! I walked in and waited a 30 seconds at the counter before anyone greeted me.. That's not bad. So I tell the guy that asked me what I wanted. I said pedi and full set. He said okay.. Didn't tell me how long my wait would be. He went back to working on his customer nails. I went over picked a color and sat down. 15 mins go by and I'm still sitting there. Then a lady was paying for a her service and that became a mess, because apparently they charged her debit card twice. She was on the phone with the bank and arguing with the people at the nail salon that they needed to reverse her transaction. That was a little bit awkward but it gets better. Another lady walks in someone comes from the back and ask her what she wanted. She said pedi and manicure they proceeded to have her sit down at one of the pedicure chairs and just left me sitting up front. That's when I decided to walk out and give my business to someone else. I would have appreciated if someone would have told me that they were busy and that it would take a while. I would have gladly come back later or even the next day but I won't. Read Less

The service here is terrible. The staff is rude. I even witnessed a technician laugh at a customer because she was unhappy with a color choice. I know it's inconvenient to change a color, but it happens. I would expect kind service. This is a small salon, so the odor from the acrylic and acetone are overwhelming. The last thing I noticed was that the tools used were not individually wrapped nor were they pulled from some cleaning solution. I would be worried about cross contamination here. I stopped in for a quick repair to my gel nail color. They would only give me a a full manicure. $30 for a "gel manicure" that included a quick nail shaping and some cuticle cleanup. The hand massage was a couple of slaps to my hand with lotion. For $30 at other Salons includes paraffin and a shoulder massage. I usually don't post many reviews, but that is how strongly I feel about the negative experience I had here. I hope this helps someone else avoid the same experience.Read Less

I'm new to the area and looking for a salon that does liquid gel, most places only do gel powder which is acrylic. The lady who did my pedicure did a great job and made the experience bearable. For my hands the lady did good apart from the color and being rough and pretty rude. Overall the experience was non stop chat in foreign language, no eye contact, not feeling welcome and the colors on the nail charts don't match the colors in the bottles. I wanted a dark cerise pink on toes and hands. I have orangey red toes and a bright pink on my hands. Also it's an extra $5 to file your nails!! Don't understand why there is never an upfront price in these places, always secret, hidden extras. I'm on the fence, not sure if I'll go back. Read Less

This place is lovely. I'm from NY so I'm not used to frequent conversation with my manicurist as long as they get the job done. It started with some man who was taking forever to do my stiletto nail set but once the owner took notice she quickly took over to speed up the process without me having to mention a word.  Cost $45 for a whole medium set with chrome polish. Their workmanship is at the same level as shops I have gone to, and costing me double the price for the same work. Trust; they're worth it. Read Less

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. No interaction with the customers. Talking in Vietnamese the whole time amongst themselves. $85 for a mani and pedi!! Crazy!! Not to mention that they do mediocre work. Clipped my nail to the point where it bled and looked totally uneven. When I asked for sterile tools, they took some tools out of an open already package and sprayed alcohol on them. If that's their method of sterilization, then tools should be soaked for at least 10 min. Right after they used them on me they used them on another customer. That's a total health hazard. I was in a rush and needed to get a manicure before a wedding later on in the day. After leaving another salon where there was a 2 hour wait, I called Sunshine Nails where a nice lady said that she could take me and that the wait would not be more than 10 minutes. When I got there, she remembered that I was the one that called and I was ahead of the people who just walked in. I got white tips on my nails, as well as gel polish. It came out wonderful. She was very attentive even though she was the one running the salon. She knew I was in a rush and did am amazing job by working quickly but not letting the quality diminish. I got a gel manicure at Sunshine today here and it was a great experience. I had to wait a few minutes, but they were so nice about it. I didn't get the name of the girl who did my nails, but she did a fantastic job. She was so keen to detail. I was here today to get my gel nails done. The guy who did my nails was very good job. He made my nails look so real and natural. Also, my friend got her spa pedicure done, and her toes nais, very pretty. The pedicure made her feel so relaxed that she took a nap there. This place is very nice and clean. The staff were very friendly, they offered you free drink. I would tell my friends to come to get their nails and pedicure done. Read Less

I went to get a pedicure for myself and a manicure for my husband. I felt like we were of no importance to these people. They didn't speak to us, they just wanted to get us out of there. They did such a rushed job on both of us leaving our nails jagged, uneven, and rough. When I made a complaint about it, the girl told me I was just ""PICKY."" I told her she should have done the job right the first time, and I refused to have her ""FIX"" them. I then spoke to the manager who was just a bad. I left feeling like I had just flushed my money down the toilet! LAZY SERVICE!!! I could have done a better job myself! I would NOT reccomend this place to my worst enemy. They just rip you off, and you go home with nails that look worse than they did before you arrived. A complete waste of time & money!!! They were very rude and unprofessional. I just moved to Waterford Lakes area and went into Magic Nails on a recommendation. The woman who did my pedicure/manicure spoke to me MAYBE three times and once was to tell me to ""pay now."" The pedicure was rushed and the polish sloppy. The fill she did for my gel nails was even worse with the sides left jagged and when I pointed out where it was splitting due to the move, she nodded and then ignored it. I went in to straighten my nails out after unpacking my home and left feeling like I needed to go in for a fresh manicure and pedicure. My cousin was with me and her manicure and pedicure was done in the same lazy and haphazard fashion by a gentleman who also seemed like he rather be doing something else. Read Less
