I have been coming here for the last few years since I moved to Clapham and have had a fantastic service every time. The choice of colours are over whelming as they have SO many ;) I have always found every member of staff very friendly and welcoming. On a few occasions recently I have had to go to a different nail shop closer to my home due to time and it just makes me so sad as it's no where near as good as Zen. Highly recommend! Read Less

Awesome!! The best nail salon in Tenleytown in my opinion. I got a gel full set with Ann, it was her first day today and she did amazing - it comes with a two-week warrantee and a punch card to get rewards. Don't waste your time or money (unless u have a appointment with Amy). Spent £35 on a manicure after being over charged by £5 (this is the 3rd time I've been over charged coming here) ended up chipping after the 1 day by the second day 4 of my nails where chipped. (This was with shellac and has never happened before.) My nails usually last 3-4 weeks. Went in to get them to correct it and had the cheek to want to charge me a further £15. Ended up giving them £10 And I won't be going back which is a shame but Amy is the only person in that store that should be charging that price. Shes good. The others need more training. Read Less

I have been a customer's of Nam's for over 10 years. She sets a standard for mani-pedis that has spoiled me from going to anyone else. Tenley Nails is closer to me than her last shop and I love watching her turn this place into a haven in her image. Came in for the $35 mani pedi special and had a good experience. It cost an extra $5 for callus removal but still great value for a full set. Betty did my hands and Anh (sp?) did my feet. They use warm lotion and hot stones for the foot/leg massage! Also they offer you drinks - I had a mini bottle of water. They did a nice job with my nails but I added a coat of seche vite to ensure that the polish lasts longer. Before I left, they gave me a card where you get $10 off after 7 visits. I'll be back! I was visiting the area and was in need of some serious work to be done to my nails. My toes weren't that bad but I needed my 9 acrylic nails taken off (because one fell off) and a new set put on and a pedicure. I always get gel everything so I informed them. First of all she tries to yank off my nails even after I told her to be careful. After she ripped my pinky nail up to the flesh under my nail she said "ok, I soak them." She proceeded to my pedicure which she did not use gloves at first.. kind of weird but that's all on her. They have these little pre-packaged pedicure kits that make it look like they use fresh scrubbers but it's questionable because they picked the one they use for me out of the drawer and put it back in there too. I paid nearly 40$ for a gel pedicure they ended up looking horrible and chipping off a couple days after. I don't have a hard job, I'm a stay at home mom.My experience sucked. Read Less

So I pass by this little shop all the time (apparently I learned they've been open for 13yrs now), since it's really close to where I work... finally I decided to go in, figured hey I need my nails done anyways so why not see what they are like.First impression:  They were SO courteous and very accommodating.  They normally take appointments but they also welcome walk-ins (which is a must for me, cause I am so busy so I need to do it when I can squeeze that time in)!  After I was welcomed in (by the new owner) and let them know what service I'd like, as I was walked to the station where I was going to get my service, they offered me a cup of tea, coffee or some water.  This was a service I've only experienced from full service SPAs, so the fact that a normal around the way nail shop is doing this is so awesome!  It really makes you feel appreciated as a customer.  Amy was the tech who worked with me and I am definitely gonna keep her number in my phone; skill-set is amazing & the plus was she dealt/handled me like I was VIP.  Oh and the final product (my nails) are beautiful (see pix posted)!!S/N: Don't take these bad reviews as your final decision, the shop is now under new management so they are making changes!  I say go over and give them a try, you might just walk out of there better than just a satisfied customer.  I'm so glad I didn't let these reviews sway me =^) Read Less

Very hard working, caring and honest family run business. Really try to make the experience good and relaxing. They graciously take walk-ins and do their best to fit you in even if they are very busy. Easiest if you go earlier during the work day. Conveniently located. Been going there for about 10 years.
