Anna is your go to girl for all things skin! I was turned on to getting a silk peel to help my skin and I had heard reviews of Anna from friends. I set up a waxing appointment to scope her out first and she did an excellent job on the wax so I decided to book the peel. I set up and appointment for a silk peel and Anna was available within the week during evenings because duh I work too much. Super easy no fuss. Anna did a fantastic job, shes very thorough no rushing, she made sure to go over everything twice used some nice serums (all organic because I prefer organic). Skin before and afters say it all! I have recommended Freddy and Celadon to multiple friends, all of whom are now also happy customers, so I feel this review is long overdue.  I went to Freddy over 4 years ago after going from bleach blonde to auburn and back again.  For anyone who hasn't done it, Red dye is incredibly hard to get out, so you better love it.  I was in the process of transitioning back to blonde and my hair was a combination of strawberry blonde, natural ash blonde roots, and banana yellow.  It was ugly and very weak.  In one long and very aggressive session, Freddy (who was recommended by a friend) and literally everyone else in the room (because everyone had opinions on how best to do it without damaging my hair further), brought my hair back from the dead.  I never looked back.  Aside from being a blast to chat with, Freddy listens, works well from pictures and descriptions, and is a very fast worker, so I am in and out about as fast as can be expected.  Freddy has cut and dyed my hair long, short, blunt and layered.  He gave me me a fantastic edgy sexy short cut, and worked with it as it grew out - looking terrific at each stage.  My hair is wavy/curly, and my cuts routinely look good blown-out or air-dried.  Because I don't have to fuss to make the cut work, my hair is healthier than ever.  He's also terrific at color, and, since both cut and color are so good, they last for months.  Finally, it has been my experience that Freddy (and the front desk) can and will accommodate me same-day whenever possible. I had an incredible spa experience at Celadon. I was long overdue for a facial, my skin was so dehydrated and congested. Anna is a true skincare connoisseur and aesthetician who took the time to ask all the right questions and even tell me how I can address these problem areas at home. My experience was so relaxing as she massaged my scalp, shoulders, arms and hands too. I had an organic facial, with an Apple & Paprika peel, which worked wonders on my skin! I was so pleased with the final result, I had to keep myself from touching my face but it was so soft and smooth! My husband (who is not a very observant person) even noticed and said, "your skin is glowing!" Now that's a win in my book. I will definitely be back! Read Less

I visited Celadon Spa on a Friday afternoon in July for the first time. I had a facial booked with Jackie. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience that day. From the minute I walked in the door the staff was polite, helpful, answered all my questions, and most importantly had genuine smiles on their faces. The spa was clean and welcoming. My facial with Jackie was amazing! Jackie was extremely knowledgeable, well versed in products, educated me on my skin an...d made recommendations on what I should do/use to better my skin tone, dryness, etc... Honestly, one of the best experiences I have ever had at a spa was at Celadon. After the experience I had that Friday afternoon, there is no reason to go anywhere else for my facials. I saw Freddy working on another clients hair while I was in to get a wax and knew he was special! The client had gorgeous bleach blonde hair in a perfect classy sexy cut. I set an appointment with Freddy and explained my history of damage from a playboy white bleach job and my goals to keep my hair full looking, healthy, and to eventually grow it out again. My current cut was draggly and the choppy front made it look frizzy and more fine. Freddy came through with an amazing cut and as you can see from my before and after photo its a TOTAL improvement! Just skip this place if you're looking for a cut/color. I was a new client and waited 20 min past my appointment time to be seen, almost had my curls brushed out by an assistant before I even met my stylist to discuss my cut, waited under the dryer 10 extra minutes while my stylist worked on an additional client, had to remind my stylist I asked for bangs, got hit in the head with the dryer so hard the diffuser fell off, and was told by the stylist, 'you can style your hair better than I can,' which meant I left the salon with half-wet, frizzy hair that looks AWFUL. And, because my hair isn't dry, I don't even know how the color turned out (nor does my stylist). For a $210 cut/color, this is completely unacceptable. I was treated like a number here, and absolutely DO NOT recomment this place if you're looking for someone to care about what they're doing with your hair. The only silver lining is that I didn't have social plans after this appointment. Skip this place and look elsewhere. Read Less

I had Amanda tweeze my eyebrows and she cleaned up my face, shaped them perfectly to where I don't even have to use a cclear mascara to hold them in place. I have long thick brows like Jennifer Connely and she was able to work with those beasts! She's fast and it was basically painless. Read Less

This is such a beautiful place and the services are amazing! I had my hair done by Jeremy and a facial with Susan, they were fantastic and did an amazing job!! I have been going to Celadon spa for about five years now, most recently on 2/6/17. I am writing this review because I am trying to share more of my favorite experiences in DC and not be such a hoarder of knowledge. I always get my haircut by Eric, and for years I had kept it long and mostly worn on top, which meant I would see him two or at most three times a year.   The cut is not cheap however, it seems on par with the other salons I tried before settling on Celadon. This time, however, I had recently had gastric bypass surgery and I wanted a new look to go with my emerging new body. So I let Eric have his way with me, and the results were fabulous. I will change my profile pic to reflect this shortly. I came in with a bunch of pins, and he was able to past the mix of styles to the bones of what I wanted. I felt (and still feel) gorgeous.I also have had the following services with Celadon, all top notch:Waxing, face and bodyMani pediMassage(I've never had a facial in my life so can't speak to those)This last time I was able to book a last minute wax, and even extend what I wanted. They were super flexible and accommodating. I enjoyed my wax with Robin(?) who was a great conversationalist as well as a superb aesthetician.I also like Celadon because the space is pretty, the staff is welcoming, there is always spa water and fresh magazines. It's a very relaxing oasis in the middle of downtown. Celadon also reminds you of your appointment via email and phone, which is helpful. Read Less

I can't say enough about my experience with Sandra who gave me an incredible massage. Playing rough sports like football and working out every day over the past 10+ years has definitely impacted my body so finding a good massage therapist has been crucial to my recovery time and level of stress. Sandra was attentive, skilled, and extremely knowledgeable about how to attack my problem areas. Due to her background in different types of massage, she knew how to alleviate pain in difficult areas while helping me stay so relaxed to the point that I fell asleep at one point during the massage. I walked into Celadon yesterday hoping to have someone help me with the purchase of some of your skin care products. I have shopped here in the past and been happy with the service. I was in the store for at least 5 minutes trying to figure out which products I needed and not a single person acknowledged or came to help me. I left empty handed and will not be coming back.
