Worst Pedicure and manicure. The manicure was very quick. Soaked nails in cold water, was trying to decide on design and was just brushed off No offer of suggestions. The massage on birth hands maybe totaled 30 seconds. Next I was sent for my Pedicure. There is 3 older women who perform the Pedicures. They either need to retire or go back to school. Hardly any cuticle was cut off. I was telling her the great toenail was digging in on the side. She starts wiping my nails again with remover. She never scrubbed my feet or legs, never smoothed the heels. She just kept cupping her hand to run water over my leg. I asked for the great toe to be one color and the rest another color. If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute worst pedicure in my life. My nails are uneven. There is polish missing from four nails. Polish on my toes. I complained and they still made me pay. I will never return. At first the pedicure chair didn't work. I reported that I smelled smoke and they somehow rigged the chair to start again. That should have been my first clue. Then she cut some nails too short and didn't even file the rest. I should have stopped her then. I didn't notice the polish until I got home or I would have made a scene. Read Less

This was my first time at LaBella and I was very satisfied with just about everything! They had a great selection of OPI gel colors, for starters. The staff was courteous and timely and accommodating. A full set with gel color took about an hour and a half. There was no wait. Full set acrylic with OPI gel polish comes with a $35 price tag. The tables and equipment was very updated and clean. And for my biggest must of any nail salon: they did a high quality job on my nails. And it is located right by a Dunkin Donuts so you can't beat that! Overall it was a great experience and I will be going back. Read Less

Came to get nails done for the first time at this salon. I wanted chrome nails and they were the only salon that had it. The techs were new to this service so I don't think they knew a lot about it which I think they should of to be able to give customers advice on what would be better for what they want. I wanted the chrome on my natural nails but they said gel would be better. They ended up putting the thick gel, not polish on my nail, adding 5 different coats of whatever they put on nails (including the chrome). When they were putting the last top coat. One of the "techs" said they usually do acrylic not gel because it's thinner and smoother. Long story short, my nails are super thick and look like corn chips. I feel like techs should give you more information and help you out on what would look best. My nails look worse than when I came in. I felt bad not paying so I did pay but this service was really bad. I suggest that if you are fully informed on what you want and specific so you don't have such a horrible experience like me. I have gone to La Bella Nails four times now, but the experience that I had yesterday is the one that "broke the camel's back". The first time that I went to La Bella, I had my nails, eyebrows and upper lip done by Tran and it was the best manicure and wax job that I had ever had in a salon. Very impressed. I then proceeded to make what I thought (and what I perceived that most people would think) was an appointment with Tran for the next two times I visited the salon. The second time I entered the salon I was under the impression that she would be doing my nails as I had made an appointment with her. Not the case. I was dismissively shooed off to someone else who did a subpar job on my nails. I thought it was perhaps because it was an extremely busy Friday and was an honest mistake. I returned on a less busy day about three weeks later, having once again made an appointment with Tran. I was AGAIN shooed off to the same subpar nail artist and this time, I was very upset. This time, I was very close to using a different nail salon, but I have a wedding to go to on Saturday and really wanted for Tran to do my nails because I knew she would do an outstanding job. I have had a very busy week and called on Monday and spoke to Tran directly regarding my appointment at 4 PM. I asked for tips (no filing on my natural nails) and gel with a design. I was not so much concerned with the longevity of the manicure/tips so much as the quality of my nails. I went to work early in order to come in for my nail appointment on time, because I respect my appointments and other people's time. I came in and, once again, spoke with Tran about what I wanted and was dismissively directed to a pedicure chair. I saw from my pedicure chair that she had a client in her chair, and very quickly realized that she was nowhere near finished with the client which should have been my cue to leave after my pedicure was finished. I decided that I would wait for Tran. I was then told by Tran and another nail artist that she was nowhere near finished with her client, that she "doesn't do acrylic well" and "cannot do acrylic right now for personal health reasons".... Why would she not tell me any of that before i came in, when I spoke to her on Monday? Before I sat down? If I make an appointment WITH YOU, it means that I want YOU to do my nails, not whomever you are trying to foist me off on. I was internally fuming by the time I sat down with her mother (the nail artist), who then proceeded to try to make me file down my natural nails for acrylic which I specifically said I didn't want done and to make me not get gel on my nails (which showed me that Tran had also not communicated anything I wanted to her mother). No offense, but I had not asked anyone's opinion of what I wanted on my nails. I came in with a clear vision of what I needed for the wedding. If I am a paying customer, what does it matter to you? I had enough. I paid for my pedicure and left, because surely if I had spoken my mind to Tran it would make me the "angry Black woman with an attitude". Tran and the rest of the nail salon staff are dismissive, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I then went down the street to Relaxation Organic Nails and Spa where I had an amazing experience, and will never again go to La Bella Nails. Read Less

I RARELY get my nails done because I'm terrified of getting germs and going to dirty places, plus I really don't care. So, spur of the moment, I decided I wanted them done now and I looked up places near me on Yelp! Ran across many but settled on La Bella Nails & I'm glad I did! The place was clean and put together. The young man greeted me at the door, and pulled out my seat for me, unlike other places who just point to a number. I came with a nail design, but Susan gave me something better which I saw on Pinterest earlier! She was really nice & im going back to her and I'll be getting my nails done more often! My mom and sister and I went here while they were visiting from Ohio. While they were able to quickly accommodate us, the pedicure felt rushed. The woman doing my service tried to skip the callus removal. I noticed my mom was getting hers done and stopped the woman before she started putting polish on my toes. She said she skipped it because "I don't need that" which as much as I hate to say it, isn't true. She then proceeded to do a half hearted job and then speedily painted my nails while my mom's beautician hadn't even finished taking care of her skin and nails yet.  My mom's choice of nail polish ran out after they were done with one foot and they tried to tell her our colors were the same and they should finish with my color...um...no. Again, sloppy and rushed. Save your money and go to Polished Salon in Wilmington instead. They're the best. Read Less

I'm sitting under the dryer now waiting for my toes to dry. My full set with gel looks pretty good. The young lady took her time with my nails. An older lady did my pedicure which I felt was rushed and caused them to come out a little sloppy. The prices were average. I also got my eyebrows done which didn't make much of a difference. Overall the place isn't bad but I've had better looking paint jobs. Read Less

I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and attentive. The shop itself was immaculate. There were many colors /designs to choose from; and, the service was quick but not rushed.  I am looking forward to going back soon this is my new favorite place! Read Less
