Probably one of the top places to get a pedicure besides an actual spa/salon. Their prices are reasonable (my spa pedicure 45-55 minutes, with polish, leg/foot scrub and mask, hot towel etc) is well worth it. I did not have an appointment but I am lucky, I do recommend calling a head of time but more so when the weather starts to get warmer. Also they are open Sundays which is great for me. I am not picky about colors, they have a decent variety but I also bring my own color. Note they only deal in natural nails. The girls here are extremely pleasant and professional, they actually talk to you and check in to see if you are happy. They offer you beverages. The chairs here are my fav! They are so big and comfy, the overall atmosphere here is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend it to people who want a more upscale salon and experience without breaking the bank. Very disappointed with Polished. After a long hiatus I returned here because they do a great job with their nail services. I discovered that they've remodeled and there no longer are massage chairs at any of their pedicure stations. For me the massage was just as important as the pedicure. Sadly I won't be back but if you don't care about the massage, then I recommend them. Read Less

So unfortunately I have to leave this bad review for a great salon that I've used numerous times but no longer has massage chairs for pedicures. The thing I personally enjoy most about a pedicure is the massage during it. I hate to say that I won't be back. Bad business decision IMO. Read Less

This is my third time here. I made an appointment all three times and I still had at least a ten minute wait. The receptionist needs a personality and the rest of the staff are okay. If the name of the salon is Polish, you would think that they would have a great polish selection?!?? Not so. The gel polish selection was so outdated and the regular nail polish selection was old as well. The first young lady that serviced me was quiet but she did a great job considering I was transitioning from pink and white acrylic to gel manicure and the bed of my nails were horrifying! She took her time and she polished my nails very nicely. I don't like the fact that you have to pay first, what's that about? Do people normally leave without paying for their service? I'm also an ethnic woman and I believe that had something to do with me not getting the warm and fuzzy treatment from the receptionist. Oh well, at least I can say I gave them three chances. I used to go to Salon by Dominic, but unfortunately they no longer offer nail services. This is about the sixth or seventh time I have been here and I have had good experiences in the past. However, this time not so much. I made an appointment for shellac and a pedicure, was taken on-time and the girl at reception was lovely. I sat at the pedicure station for about ten minutes before I was approached by the nail tech. She grumbled "Hi" without even looking at me so that reall...y set the tone. I was looking for a particular polish color that I did not see on the shelf so I asked if they had it and she said no so I asked for a second color, which she went to look for. Ten minutes later she comes back with the first color I had asked for which was great. For the next half hour she said not one word to me. When I tried to engage her she would either mumble or literally grunt so I stopped trying. As for the actual pedicure it was typical, not better not worse. On to the manicure. My nails were bare and I had requested shellac. I have had shellac on my nails regularly and since there was no "soak-off" needed I anticipated this would take an hour at most.So the fact that it took an hour and forty-five minutes later was surprising and a little irritating especially because my nails are the size of Chiclets if not shorter. I'm not sure if this girl was new or if there was an issue with the polish, but after each nail she kept having to wipe of the polish because it wasn't going on evenly. EVERY SINGLE NAIL for both coats. This time; however, I got four whole words out of her "Go wash your hands" as she nodded at the sinks in the corner. I sat and watched all of the other techs laugh and engage their clients or at least smile. They seemed to enjoy what they were doing, but not my tech. Super great place to get nails done. My gel paint last up to 4 weeks, through all sorts of stuff. Never had it last that long with anyone else doing them. Super sweet staff.Ask for Alex! She does a supreme job and I got to practice my Spanish with her ;) Although all the staff do a great job when I havnet been able to get Alex. Make sure to go to the Polished in Hockessin. That's the good one! The one in Trolley Square is dirty and terrible. Appointments recommended but not needed.Read Less

Super disappointed. I came here because I've been working so hard at school and work so I decided to treat myself to a bit more pricey pedi than usual, thinking it would be wonderful. I was wrong. First the receptionist was super friendly as were the other staff from what I could see, except for my lady. For a $28 pedicure it says it comes with a massage. She went to put the hot towel on me and I asked her if I'd be receiving a massage after and she says "I already did the massage". I rolled my eyes a bit because the massage she's talking about was the 30 seconds it took to rub the lotion into my legs. This rating is solely on my visit and not the establishment as a whole. I asked a lady next to me who seemed to be receiving an amazing ten minute massage which pedi she chose and long behold it was the same one I did. I also put 30 minutes on my massage chair and when I got up there were 11 minutes left, so what does that say? As a full time student who works hard for the little money I earn I'm so disappointed. This is a really great nail salon, and everybody seems to know this judging from the lines out the door! Everyone who works here is super nice and friendly which is a nice change of pace from some of the more generic, strip mall places. The decor is super cute and they have a lot of color options. My only complaint is really about how busy it always is. If you go on an off time, it is totally worth it because it really is a great salon. If you go first thing on a Saturday and aren't at the front of the line, prepare to wait 45 minutes to an hour. Read Less
