This is a review of my first and very likely my last time going to any Regal Nail location. TL:DR If you're looking for quality similar to a technician in a beauty school, this is the place for you. If not, PLEASE skip this location and try another salon. I came in for a fill on my acrylic set. The male technician was very careful and detailed about the removal and resculpting portion of my nails which I was very excited about. His meticulous nature was pleasantly surprising. The issue came with my gel polish. I noticed that he had a very odd brush stroke pattern which was making the color very uneven on my nails. I looked a little concerned but let him continue as I was pretty sure it would all balance out in the end. Before he applied the top coat texture wise my nails were a mess. I drew my hand back stopped him and pointed out all the lumps and dips in my nails. He told me it would all balance out with the top coat, I hesitated and he assured me I should just trust him. Needless to say the top coat only made the issues with my nails glossier. I expressed that I was dissatisfied and he told me that the mounds, dips and ridges in my nails were because I selected a mood color gel. Come on y'all. I let him know that would explain a color difference however it wouldn't contribute to a texture difference. He kept saying it was just due to the color and telling me to smile as I expressed frustration. Eventually another technician came over to try to clean up the issues as much as she could {without completely removing his improper base color layers} but ultimately there were still ridges and lumps in my color. At this point I expressed my dissatisfaction, the tech looked annoyed and said well what do you want me to do about it. I didn't appreciate her tone especially after being there for an additional 30 mins for my nails still not be done correctly. To not get triggered into an all out argument I decided just to pay, leave, and capture my sentiments in a review. Texture issues on a glossy nail are little difficult to catch in a photo so I picked the thumb nail to showcase some of the ridge and lump issues. My daughter had her brows done and suffered terrible burns to her eyelids, we were afraid would result in scarring. When I showed the "manager" they offered my money back and told me,"I should find another salon" to do her brows because she obviously suffers from sensitive skin??? I know she does and I told you, that's how you knew.Rather than admit the wax was too hot and he didn't know what he was doing, it was somehow both mine and my 15-year-old daughter's fault. I will admit she had her brows done y another lady at the salon who I was told was no longer there, with no issues but this guy was new. They were quite rude about it and bulked when I asked for his license as proof. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE YOUR BROWS DONE THERE it is only matter of time before it happens to you as I have met many people who have experienced similar issues. I am happy to report no scarring occurred after being seen and given an ointment by Asia at Ulta Beauty. Asia is licensed and passionate about her craft and that is where we go now! Read Less

I was highly upset with my visit today. I came in for just a regular pedicure and it was not a good experience. Customer service was very welcoming, but my pedicure was not good. Overall it took about 10-12 min for the whole pedicure. My feet only soaked for a few min and she didn’t even exfoliate my feet or remove any dead skin. All she did was a cut down, soften my cuticles and rub lotion on my feet and legs. I still have all the dead skin on my feet and the nail polish job was rushed. Went upon this salon to do acrylic manicure. I had a great experience. My technician treated me like her family :) Amazingggggg! And accommodated my every need. No complaints with their services. DEFINITELY will coming back. It's calming place! Read Less

I was as a new resident in Dover and I just chose out Regal Nails to do manis. And I satisfied with their work. The staff here was very warm hearted to greet me. They were always looking at new trends to my nails. And were also the wonderful communicators. The ambiance is tranquil. I will continue to visit this salon. Thank you Regal Nails. Read Less

Ive been a customer for over 5 years, coming in every month or so. Lately the service has been terrible. I cant get an appointment, and the last 2 times Ive called to make an appt they left me waiting to later say call back later and the second time they just hung up on me. I've been a client at Regal Nails Salon & Spa for about a few months. I was very pleased with the service. Staff was able to take me seat right awayand began the process. All of the staff did my nails just the way I like them!They were showing me the various colors to let me delight in the choice. Very clean space. I started coming Regal Nails Salon & Spa when I first moved to Dover a few months ago.They definitely did not disappointed me.As soon as you walk in, you are assissted by them.I got a shellac manicure and loved it.The employees were professional, kind and happy to provide service.What I appreciated the most is the quality of their products.I would probably come back just to try it again !
