I've been here a handful of times before when I couldn't get into the normal salon I go to. I've never had a problem with how my nails came out, but this last time I went was horrible. The man did my nails and I hate them! I called and made an appt, however he was clearly rushing through to the point that he was actually hurting me when he filed them. Not sure if he doesn't know the procedure but most of them were misshaped and he didn't even clean them off before the next step. To shorten it; they looked half done. He didn't have me wash my hands or check them after they dried. Just very rudely said you are done, since he was already starting on another customer who seemed to come in all the time because they we're talking and laughing. I felt pushed out. DO NOT, I repeat do not let the guy do your nails... He is uncertain of the procedure of doing your nails, he did my nails every nail was filed and shaped uneven, they did not care or want to fix my nails... Fina has a terrible bad attitude, Rosa & her mom is pretty cool , at least greet your customer and make them feel welcome when entering your shop! This salon was nasty. There was only one man in there, other than a girl that sat in the massage chair and watched a movie and had it turned way up. The man removed my acrylic nails and was very rough. I complained to him but he continued to be rough. His hands and nails were filthy. He had the sniffles really bad. I had to keep pointing out bad places on my nails. Don't go there. There are way too many other nail salons around. I had just come to Connecticut and was needing a fill. Don't come to get your nails removed! The man who did mines was so rough and he even clipped a nail in my eye!!! And didn't even say sorry. Worst experience ever!! My nails were so long and beautiful but now they look horrible and he did not file them evenly. I couldn't wait to get out.Read Less

Classic Salon is the best salon in this area. I've been going here for over ten years, and often recommend to all of my friends. All of the manicurists are fantastic, Fina is the cool girl who normally does mine, but Rosa and her Mom are amazing as well. And you get the added bonus of a great value for your money! I drive all the way from Boston to get the whole package done, pedicure manicure BROWS. Ladies you can't trust anyone else with your brows. I've once had my nails damaged so badly in boston and they had my nails fixed and recovered in a matter of a month (nails take time to grow) To the patriot focus group, I've never had a negative experience here, but all pedicure procedures vary. Unless you know the procedure I don't think you should judge how one person does it or the other. I was visiting my mother in Connecticut with my boyfriend and decided to take him to get his first pedicure done. The lady who did his did a fantastic time and he truly enjoyed every moment of it. HOWEVER the man who did mine clearly was not certain of their procedure and rushed on my feet. Not only did I felt rushed I was charged a higher amount listed on the website. When I made a comment the response I received was "Oh! yeah that's 3-4 years old". They should at least update their information and did I mentioned my toes actually hurt now...
