I went to Mint for the first time to purchase a gift card for a friend that likes this salon. When I got back to my office I noticed there was a tax charged to the gift card. By CT State Law you are not allowed to tax a gift card. I called the shop and spoke to the woman and she said it was because I paid with a credit card. I said that should not matter and she did not tell me there was a credit card fee. I asked to refund the credit card and I'd come back and pay with cash. She did not know how to do it and kept saying she was busy and would have to ask her husband. She then hung up on me.I immediately called back and asked her how she was going to let me know what her husband says if she doesn't have any of my contact information? She kept saying she was busy and would have to ask him. I asked her to ask him right now and I could come to shop now. She had a side conversation with him, then came back and said what's your name and phone # and then hung up on me again. I have yet to hear back from them... To me it is about the principal, not the money - what they are doing is wrong and they are not trying to rectify the situation. I will not be returning again, that's for sure!

Can't get into this nail spot. Why do I feel like it's a hierarchy among the employees? It feels like a bad place to work so I cant enjoy the services. I hope I'm wrong but I literally don't want to go back. If management is reading I hope you appreciate your whole team.

I decided to come here after reading the great Yelp reviews, and had a pleasant experience. When I arrived, I was told it would be about a 15 minute wait. I appreciated that they were upfront about this. They seem to give pretty honest wait times - I think some places say they'll be available sooner so you won't leave. I was happy with my pedicure ($25). It still looks good about a week later. I also appreciated that they offer massages while your nails dry - many places don't offer this anymore. And it was a great massage! I will come back to Mint next time I'm in town.

I recently went to mint nail salon, they have amazing service and make you feel very comfortable. They also give a student discount, not to mention that you can get a mani pedi for 40 dollars. Also, this is a nice place to go if you want to see a movie or get frozen yogurt because it is only a seven minute walk and 3 minute drive to the movies.This place is great and I would recommend it to all of my friends.

This is a small but exceptional place. They aren't pushy and only want you to be comfortable and happy. I came in for the first time and wanted to have a pedicure. They took me immediately and say me in a state of the art massage chair. I chose to have an extra callous removal treatment, which I so desperately needed, and it couldn't have cost more than an additional $10. $35 total for a superb pedicure that included a paraffin wax treatment fir my heels at no extra charge. Soft classical music in the background. A wonderful shoulder a back massage at the end was a real treat! BEING A DENTAL HYGIENIST, I ALWAYS CHECK TO SEE IF THEY HAVE AN AUTOCLAVE TO STERILIZE THEIR INSTRUMENTS, they do!! This will be my regular place from now on!

Beautiful nail salon right in the Wilton town center. Very posh and relaxing. Everyone is super nice!! For a $12 manicure, they provide a great paraffin wax treatment, heated towels on your lap with a mini-blanket, and they take extra care in treating your nails just right. Can't wait to go back!

Esther has been doing my nails for about 4 years & I have followed her to other salons. She's now opened her own salon & I'm thrilled to have her back in Wilton. She has always done my nails perfectly. Her new salon is very warm and welcoming, not like all the other salons which are huge. I can't say enough about Esther. She is vey accommodating, is a perfectionist and always makes sure her clients are happy! Along with Esther, her staff is just as accommodating; she wouldn't have anyone working for her that isn't accommodating and a perfectionist in their craft. I highly recommend going to Mint!!

I went to Mint for the first time to purchase a gift card for a friend that likes this salon. When I got back to my office I noticed there was a tax charged to the gift card. I appreciated that they were upfront about this. They seem to give pretty honest wait times - I think some places say they'll be available sooner so you won't leave. I was happy with my pedicure ($25). It still looks good about a week later. I also appreciated that they offer massages while your nails dry - many places don't offer this anymore. And it was a great massage! I will come back to Mint next time I'm in town.

I recently went to mint nail salon, they have amazing service and make you feel very comfortable. They also give a student discount, not to mention that you can get a mani pedi for 40 dollars. Esther has been doing my nails for about 4 years & I have followed her to other salons. She's now opened her own salon & I'm thrilled to have her back in Wilton. She has always done my nails perfectly. Her new salon is very warm and welcoming, not like all the other salons which are huge. I can't say enough about Esther. She is vey accommodating, is a perfectionist and always makes sure her clients are happy! Along with Esther, her staff is just as accommodating; she wouldn't have anyone working for her that isn't accommodating and a perfectionist in their craft. I highly recommend going to Mint!!
