A great nail place in Wilton Center that has been a stand-by whenever I come back home. I love Good Morning because it is BIG, inviting, and clean, and while it is usually teeming with activity, it has such a calm and soothing atmosphere. The aestheticians are polite and take their time with you - definitely a plus. Also, the price - its always a shock coming back to the NY/CT area from my new home in DC and re-discovering that mani/pedi combos don't cost $50. For a mere $30 here, you get a great mani/pedi. Color selection is average - offerings from Essie and Opi. The pedicure chairs are nice and padded, but it is difficult to feel the massaging of the chairs. The nail service is very thorough and soothing. Although I just paid for a regular combo, I got a little hot stone action in my foot rub, too! What a plus. The reason why Good Morning gets downgraded to just three stars is because of the longevity (or lack thereof) of my manicure. My pedicure still looks great a week later, as it should, but my manicure began to chip and deteriorate by day 2. I'm not sure what to attribute it to - the polish or technique or what - but I haven't had a manicure with such poor lasting ability in a looong while. So, while Good Morning hits the mark for price and service and a mental health pick-me-up, it wouldn't be my top stop for a long-lasting manicure.
