I can't fault the result but have to say the wait is silly. I booked an appointment on Tuesday for today at 2.00, i got there at 1.50 to find the shop packed. I was told to sit and wait like usual and by 2.35 got fed up and asked if i could go back later. To me this isn't acceptable, if you make an appointment you should take priority and the customers that have walked in should be told to wait until you have been served. Pedicure was a terrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone. Asked if I wanted my nails cut or filed. I asked for them to be cut. Instead of cutting my nails shorter they cut my nail on the side and so low to the nail bed. I don't understand why the woman would ever do that!! That's exactly how you get ingrown nails. No salon has ever done that. I'm so upset and worried about how my nail will grow back. I left without going further into the pedicure. I've been going to Angel Nails for a year or more but intermittently, depending on where I am  heading for the sake of convenience. I always thought they were clean and friendly and did n average mani/pedi so I was pleased. Today, they won my loyalty because I had selected a color for my gel color and I was not happy with the result. It really was nobody's fault but they knew I wasn't pleased, so they asked if I could stop back when they were not so busy and they'd fix the color. I was not even aware they could do this with gel color. I ran some errands and stopped back in. They did not grimace or have attitude. They very willingly helped me select a color and Tina worked diligently to cover over but the original one was so dark she said, oh, no, and removed all the gel and started over, at her own discretion. I was not going to make them do that. She paid attention to every speck, sanding, and carefully applying. When all was said and done, I asked how much I owed them and they said "nothing, no worries." Of course, I thanked them for going above and beyond and I tipped Tina nicely. I can really appreciate this, as a business owner and I feel like they earned all my future business. Please DO NOT confuse with Angel Tip in ShopRite Plaza on Connecticut Avenue..their customer service (if you can call it that) lacks completely. Read Less

Clean, friendly, fun, always walk out happy. I recommend this salon and suggest calling ahead of time even if no appointment is necessary.The tables have built in gel dryers - so cool! Great salon! Very clean and reasonably priced. I usually get a free back massage while getting my UV gel fills. My nails look great and last for 4 weeks or more. Great foot massage comes with the regular pedicure. JoJo is great! Everyone is very friendly. Read Less

0 stars. Extremely disappointed when I submitted 3 tickets totaling 11 manicures and the owner would not accept them for a free manicure. I told her I wasn't coming back because she cheated me out of a manicure. She was furious and questioned me and said that I needed 2 more manicures on the card with 8 signatures. I had gone there 10 weeks in a row and presented proof and she cheated me out of the manicure. I then told her I was done with her business. Wow. What a cheat -- don't go there. Read Less

Terrible. First of all they do a lousy job. Look at your nails before you leave there may be smudges or they don't paint the entire nail. when you go back to get their mistakes corrected they make you wait an extremely long time hoping you'll just leave and then they try to recharge you even if you give a second tip. It is a very clean/cheap salon with a mani/pedi at $19.  Who can beat that?  Open Sunday and people are very nice.  The only glitch is when they get busy, it can be insane.  Sunday afternoons are horrible.  Otherwise JoJo and her husband are great! Read Less

I feel like I've literally been to every nail salon in the area, and Angel is by far the best value salon. There are other salons with low prices, however you can bet your nails will be chipping within 24 hours. They do a great job here and give a shoulder massage as you dry which is generous considering it is 8 DOLLARS for a mani, and 19 for a mani-pedi combo. My polish generally stays well and chip free for at least 5 days which is very good for me. (I do a lot with my hands and am very busy.) HIghly recommend here!
