Updated: After my post about the Website charging tax on gift certificates, Posh had this corrected the next day.  Thank you Posh!This review is not about their services - it's about their website.  When trying to buy gift certificates on their website, they are charging tax - this is not in accordance with CT law.  I called the Westport location and notified them that their website was charging tax on gift certificates.  They said that they would get back to me, it's been 3 days so I'm giving them a poor review.ct.gov/drs/cwp/view.asp?…Ruling 89-91The purchase of a gift certificate is not subject to sales and use tax. The gift certificate is deemed to be consideration at the time it is redeemed by the retailer. Let me start off by saying that my nails do look nice hence the the star. However, the way I was treated was not ok. I was gifted a manicure and pedicure from posh to which I have never gone to, I finally went only to be disappointed. After I picked a color I must've been left waiting in the pedicure seat for 10 minutes before someone came to me. The women was going to start my pedicure when the manager? Owner? Came up to us and told her to attend the women who had sat next to me (and after me) first because she had done her brows prior EVEN THOUGH I WAS WAITING FOR 10 MINS. I was left waiting g again as I saw everyone else getting their pedicures and workers walking around freely. 5 mins later "Kim" came to do my pedicure. She did it very quickly and when it came time to do my nails she skipped steps such as letting my hands sit in water, cleaning around and under nails, and massaging hands. Which every other person getting their nails done was receiving (yes I looked around). I am sure I was being discriminated against, although unsure if it was due to my gift certificate or my skin color seeing I was the only person of dark complexion in the premises. Felt like a queen for a couple hours! First time for eyelash extensions and they look amazing. Rachel does a SUPERB job and is so sweet! Very clean! They use disposable foot tub liners. Pricier than other nail places but it's the place I trust. Anytime I tried another nail salon I would end up at the podiatrist to treat the problem I would get elsewhere. I wish they were cheaper though. Read Less

I have been coming here for 8 years it the most favorite nail salon I have ever been too: They are super clean Super stylish High end everything Everyone there does an excellent job whether mani, pedi, pink and whites, or gels I have befriended practically everyone there They even gave me Extra massages at no cost when I was pregnant I love their service and I love my nails 10 stars!!!! Worst pedicure ever. Wanted just a standard pedicure...she barely scrubbed my feet so I asked for a callus remover which was $10 extra. Again...barely scrubbed my feet, never got lotion or a leg/foot massage. Can't believe I spent $36 there and already need another pedicure. Horrible horrible job. Read Less

Have been going to Posh for years. I've tried every technician in the shop and have never been disappointed. Management operates a tight, but happy, ship and it's always relaxing. Walk-ins are politely greeted as are all the regulars. What I like best is how the quality has never changed over the years. The manicurists never seem to leave, as do many in other shops.
