I'm in town for the weekend, and based on the company's 4 + stars, I decided to get a mani pedi. First, the ambiance and attention to the customer are great. I think the salon means well. Second, the lady that did my pedicure kept trying to use the drill to cut my cuticles. Why??? And if I told you no the first time, why would you keep asking me?? I'm not a nail tech, but I know that you don't cut cuticles with a nail drill. Third, I guess because the tech was used to cutting cuticles with a nail drill she had no idea how to actually cut my cuticles with the cuticle cutter. Needles to say, I walked out after my pedi. I couldn't stand to let this woman screw up my manicure. The owner tried to course correct, but it was too late. Next time, just tell your employees to have better attitudes and to provide customers with the service they pay for. I wouldn't return for round two. And if this is what 4+ stars for a nail salon in Hartford, CT looks like, I'm glad I'm just visiting. Read Less
