I just had my first pedicure at this salon and it was AWESOME!  I only requested the "basic" pedicure but it was anything but basic. Very thorough and relaxing - loved the foot and calf massage! - and I had not had a pedicure all season so it was not an easy job for the technician. It looks great and my feet feel wonderful. It's a very small space tucked in next to Corner Pug (use parking lot in the back off New Park) and immaculately clean!  Liked that all tools were newly cleaned/individually wrapped and she lined the foot tub before filling with water. I moved here from California about a month ago. I was looking for a great nail salon, since the first one I tried out here was so exspensive and they did a horriable job on my gel mani and pedi. I am so glad that I found My Nails Spa!! The prices are great! Even better, the mani and pedi were amazing!! I got the regular ones with gel and it was the best mani and pedi I have ever had. I was recommended by a friend so i brought my daughter to get her nails and feet done by the way was 71 dollas 75 dollars with taxes. I left my 17 year old to get her nails done @ 1230 came back and my daughter tells me she asked the lady doing her nails The Owner Kelly to repaint her toenails the correct blue and she ignored her so she told me and i asked her can she repaint my daughter toenails the correct color and she refused unless i pay extra which i refused to do she knew from the beginning it was my daughters Senior Prom she didn't care and she did not paint her toe nails over and let her walk out... Came in to get my nails done last week. The girls did a great job on my nails! Did exactly what I wanted with reasonable price. The salon isn't that big but clean and organize. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Kelly and the girls. They are friendly and love to talk. There is always something good on tv ( we usually salivate watching Pioneer Woman or crack up watching Ellen). There is always great attention to detail and so many colors and designs to pick from. The prices are excellent and you even earn discounts. I have been going to Kelly now since before Christmas after spending way to much money where I live for terrible nail jobs. Worst experience ever.  Got a pedicure lady did not buff rough part of feet..got offended when I asked.  Then only put lotion on legs did not massage feet only painfully massaged over the black and blues on my legs after I asked her not to.  Left my feet dry and rough then when I mentioned my feet were dry right before she was going to do my nails she got mad and refused to do my nails.  Awful experience never again Read Less

I have been to My Nails twice so far and I am very impressed. The salon is under new ownership and is light, bright and clean.  Kelly, the owner, is very nice, professional and accommodating.  She is very knowledgeable in new nail trends and products.  They have an incredible selection of nail polishes, both regular and gel.  It's super convenient to have free parking in the lot behind the salon/corner pug. The prices are competitive and it's a really nice experience. They also do eyelash extensions which I'm am looking forward to trying. My nails were a chippy hot mess yesterday and I decided spur of the moment to get a mani. I called up My Nails and they had an opening for me. Nice!Khanh Pham unwrapped all equipment infront of me (super clean) before she began to meticulously file, trim and shape my nails. They looked beautiful even before she put polish on them. I loved the mini hand massage that came with my gorgeous mani. Very talented in doing uv gel nails and stays up to date on all the news in the nail world! If you like designs her brother extremely talented and works on Monday's and sundays! This has always been a great place. The location is convenient and the staff are wonderful. They are recently under new management and the changes are a nice upgrade! I loved the herbal massage and exfoliation with my pedicure. I would get it done every week if I could. I left feeling so relaxed. It was a perfect way to end a stressful/busy week. After walking out of Orange Nails & Spa II (I'll discuss why later), I landed here about 6:30pm last night. I was warmly greeted by the manager and an employee with beaming smiles and welcoming spirits. I needed a manicure and polish change on my toes. The dynamic duo got to work on me right away! The manager herself completed my manicure which was by far, THE BEST MANICURE I'VE EVER HAD! She took her time and paid attention to every possible detail. I was very impressed! I had Jen today for my biweekly manicure and pedicure. I loved the keratin treatment on my hands and the calming ambience that Jen has. She took her time and was very particular about doing a neat job. Overall, the prices of the manicure/pedicure are fairly standard. $30 for shellac manicure and $30 for a deluxe pedicure. However, the effort that Jen put in her job and the quality of the nails made it completely worth it. Highly recommend! Read Less

I went to this nail salon because I had seen the reviews on Yelp, it was nearby, and had $ with 4.5 stars. However, I was not impressed. Bill took a long time to shape my nails and then did my polish very quick and poorly. I was embarrassed that I had even gotten my nails done to be quite honest after leaving this place. My acrylic refill was uneven. The polish came on messy and the gel overlay was thick and uneven. I was going to a wedding the next day so I could not come back to get them to redo it and they were closed on Monday. So he told me I should have come back sooner. I payed $33 for my whole refill and my friend had paid $38 for a full set. And then when I came back to ask them to redo the poor job because I was unhappy, he charged me 10$ to get them redone when I think he should of just redone it for free because he should have just done it well in the first place. So overall I paid $43 for this one fill manicure that should have been nice in the first place and not have me going back! I do not recommend. I was embarrassed looking at the result of my nails. Jen did my first ever acrylic nails -- and I have to admit, before walking in I was a bit nervous about trying a new thing. But the instant my friend and I walked in the door we were greeted with warm and friendly smiles. It was a very pleasant experience. As an aestheticians daughter, I've been taught to be careful about cleanliness. This place was so clean, I plan to bring my mother with me when I go back! I was in today for a manicure and pedicure. I last had a service nine months ago- and today's experience has made me want to come in more frequently. Bill did my pedicure, which was excellent. It was really relaxing, and some time in the massage chair was just what I needed. They have a great selection of colors- my toes look great and my skin is so smooth now. Menuka did my manicure and she did a wonderful job. The keratin glove treatment was really nice. My nails are now evenly shaped, and the polish job is smooth and firm. The UV drier performed better than others I have used, and I didn't have to worry about smudges. I will definitely be back to fill up this punch card! Read Less

I have mixed feelings about having to write this review but here goes. As with many things your experience depends on who you get. I came in with my mom for a mani pedi. We did not have an appointment and there weren't many people waiting. The place looked clean, was well ventilated and had the usual set up with massage chairs, mani stations etc. We spoke to a Bill who told us someone with an appointment was coming so he would do us one at a time. So far so good. Bill started each of our pedicures. Then he let Menuka take over for the painting after stating that she was new. I sat for about 15 minutes waiting for her to finish my mom before she started painting me. New (and slow) she was indeed. We got here at 3:30 and it is currently 4:45. Menuka is still painting my toenails. Mom just finished her mani. I haven't even had my manicure done yet and I'm sure I won't get it done today. In the time that Menuka was only painting my toenails, my mom had a complete manicure done by Bill and he did a fill on another client. Enough said. I drove out of my way to come here based on Yelp reviews and the price ($32 for mani pedi) and I hate to say I was so disappointed. Bill was an absolute sweetheart and he did apologize for the amount of time it took but I probably won't come here again if I'm not already in the area. If I did I would make an advance appointment and ask to have my service done by Bill or come on a day when I have extra patience to spare for the new gal. The one other upside was that the nail paint dried extremely fast with their UV drier, less than 5 minutes. P.s. There is no access to the parking lot from New Britain Ave. You have to either come down New Park Ave or park across the street. Read Less
