I will never ever go back to Anna's Nails again. I was a regular customer there for 20 years. I was there for a special mani, to see if I liked it, to have again, just before my son's wedding. While there, I planned out my next appointment with Cindy, who usually does my nails when Tami is away, and she was in Vietnam for a few weeks. I was treating my daughter and almost daughter in law to a special girls' mani/pedi before the wedding. I explained everything that I wanted to do and Cindy was all excited,saying I should bring champagne, and planning who would take care of the three of us. I said I wanted us all to be able to sit together, which she said was no problem, and I stated very specifically that we wanted our manis to be first, before the pedicures. When the day came, my girls got there about three mins before me and when I got there, they already had water running to do their pedicures. I found Cindy and asked what was going on, and her only snotty response was "That was two weeks ago! How was I supposed to remember?" How?!? She was supposed to be the professional and write it down! I said no to the pedis first, and they very begrudgingly obliged. I was VERY specific that I wanted us to be next to each other and she put us all in different spots. I said I was upset by that and she managed to get my girls moved, but not near me. Also, she was still with another client and didn't start my nails till the girls were almost done and off to the pedis in another room. She had someone else in my time slot. I spent over $200 that day and Cindy completely ruined our pre-wedding special day. I waited until Tami got back (she is the manager) to discuss it. When I finally was able to tell her everything, she barely said sorry and offered nothing to compensate our terrible experience. I explained that if she didn't respond to my problem, that I wouldn't be able to come back. I wasn't looking for much, except for her to validate that I treated poorly. Instead, her only response was" well, it's your choice to go anywhere you want". Shocked, I said "yes it is tami, yes it is". And I walked out.

I write very few reviews but I had to speak up. I've given this place 3 chances over the last year. One, two, three strikes and you are OUT. Terrible service!! Despite making an appointment I waited almost 30 minutes. Anything to get business in the door....The pedicure itself was rubbish. They rush the process and take no pride in their work. I have had great pedis so I know what it takes. They cut my nails way too short and crooked. The massage was useless, no pressure in it whatsoever. And application of polish was sloppy. They had to redo it because it looked so bad. SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE !!!

I have been to a lot of salons in West Hartford/Hartford and Anna's is the only one that constantly does a good enough job to keep me coming back. I regularly get gel nail polish and it lasts for two weeks (which is amazing because I work with my hands. Regular polish doesn't last a day without chipping at my job). They may be more expensive than some others in the area but you get what you pay for!

Nail tech I had was not confident in herself. She seemed intimidated when I was showing her imperfections as she was working on my nails. Shaping and arching of a couple nails could have been better. Just had a very nice pedicure done by Minh. This was my first time here and he took the time to clean and cut my nails that (hate to admit it) I had neglected for awhile. I had my young daughter with me and so they got me in and out in a perfect amount of time. It was a clean and relaxing atmosphere. A pleasant experience. I plan to return!

I haven't been back to this place since December but making an appointment for a waxing at a different establishment jolted my traumatic memory of Anna's. If you are planning on getting a Brazilian here, make sure you read any reviews you can in order to pick the right technician. The girl I booked with was very sweet (very young girl) but obviously had no idea what she was doing. It was absolute torture for 30 minutes. I was actually sweating and had to take breaks to bear the pain she caused. Now every time I book a Brazilian appointment I shudder at the memory.

I went here today for the first time after looking around the area for nails. My $45 dollar acrylics look amazing. Kathy did them very nice and everyone there was very very friendly. The tools were clean as well. They offer free water while you wait. They also have a very large variety of colors unlike some other salons. There was a tv and calm music playing in the back. The place is beautiful and clean and I would definitely recommend it to people in need of a new salon.

Anna's is my go-to salon. I have gotten only UV gel manicures here, and each one is consistently good from tech-to-tech. If there's a wait, I feel they do what they can to maximize my wait time--wrapping my nails to remove the polish, having me pick my color, etc. The cost is slightly higher than other salons in the area, but I'm happy to pay it for a better end result.

Very poor quality manicure. I have gotten acrylics many times at other salons, and this was by far the worst experience. Julie applied my acrylic very thick, so it looked like my nails were domed. When looked at from the side they actually just looked like press on nails. The acrylic didn't cover the edges of my nails on some fingers, and the acrylic on my thumbnail looked dented. Within a day, the false tips she had put on started lifting away from my real nails and there was space in between. In addition, the acrylic is coming away at the bottom of several nails. I'm so frustrated at this point that I just want them off. Now I have to go pay for another full set somewhere else because I will never go there again!

Very poor quality manicure. I have gotten acrylics many times at other salons, and this was by far the worst experience. Julie applied my acrylic very thick, so it looked like my nails were domed. I was really disappointed with the customer service. My mom and I have gone before and had great service, but this time we walked in and were told to leave because they were too busy and didn't have enough people working. Then we were told we could wait, and to pick out our color. 10 minutes later another woman was told it would be two hours for just a manicure. The woman was rude, pushy and expected us to either wait two hours or come back when it was more convenient for them. If you are a business that accepts walk ins, figure it out. If you don't have enough people, don't shame the customers into leaving. We will not be returning.

Love this place's new location. They moved down to a larger spot in the same plaza that they were in before. (it's behind the big Y, a little hard to see) The new spot is completely re-done, everything is clean and updated. They also seem to be offering more services than before, almost more like a mini-spa. The old spot had been feeling a little outdated, this is a great improvement!

AND, individual, disposable "nail works". I was somewhat leery that all this "spangliness" would be reflected in the price...NOT! maybe an additional 2 or 3 $. that's it.and a spectacular pedicure. im not going to keep anna's in business or put them out of business w/my 5X year pedicure, but, im a fan.

I will never ever go back to Anna's Nails again. I was a regular customer there for 20 years. I was there for a special mani, to see if I liked it, to have again, just before my son's wedding. While there, I planned out my next appointment with Cindy, who usually does my nails when Tami is away, and she was in Vietnam for a few weeks. I was treating my daughter and almost daughter in law to a special girls' mani/pedi before the wedding. I have been to a lot of salons in West Hartford/Hartford and Anna's is the only one that constantly does a good enough job to keep me coming back. I regularly get gel nail polish and it lasts for two weeks (which is amazing because I work with my hands. Regular polish doesn't last a day without chipping at my job). They may be more expensive than some others in the area but you get what you pay for!

Just had a very nice pedicure done by Minh. This was my first time here and he took the time to clean and cut my nails that (hate to admit it) I had neglected for awhile. I had my young daughter with me and so they got me in and out in a perfect amount of time. It was a clean and relaxing atmosphere. A pleasant experience. I plan to return!

I haven't been back to this place since December but making an appointment for a waxing at a different establishment jolted my traumatic memory of Anna's. If you are planning on getting a Brazilian here, make sure you read any reviews you can in order to pick the right technician. The girl I booked with was very sweet (very young girl) but obviously had no idea what she was doing. It was absolute torture for 30 minutes. I went here today for the first time after looking around the area for nails. My $45 dollar acrylics look amazing. Kathy did them very nice and everyone there was very very friendly. The tools were clean as well. They offer free water while you wait. They also have a very large variety of colors unlike some other salons. There was a tv and calm music playing in the back. The place is beautiful and clean and I would definitely recommend it to people in need of a new salon.

My mom and I have gone before and had great service, but this time we walked in and were told to leave because they were too busy and didn't have enough people working. Then we were told we could wait, and to pick out our color. 10 minutes later another woman was told it would be two hours for just a manicure. The woman was rude, pushy and expected us to either wait two hours or come back when it was more convenient for them. If you are a business that accepts walk ins, figure it out. If you don't have enough people, don't shame the customers into leaving. We will not be returning.

Love this place's new location. They moved down to a larger spot in the same plaza that they were in before. (it's behind the big Y, a little hard to see) The new spot is completely re-done, everything is clean and updated. They also seem to be offering more services than before, almost more like a mini-spa. The old spot had been feeling a little outdated, this is a great improvement!

Enjoyed my first visit and had a beautiful French manicure by Mary. Spa is so pretty. Will be going back for sure.

I am not, I repeat, NOT, a regular pedicure getting kind of gal. that being said, when I do go im really just looking for courtesy, cleanliness, a good pedicure, a decent price. outside of cleanline...
I am not, I repeat, NOT, a regular pedicure getting kind of gal. that being said, when I do go im really just looking for courtesy, cleanliness, a good pedicure, a decent price. outside of cleanliness, my surroundings are a minor concern.I hadn't been to anna's since the remodel. wow? it looks beautiful! nice job! open, well laid out, very professional. they even have disposable "baggies" for the soaking tubs. AND, individual, disposable "nail works". I was somewhat leery that all this "spangliness" would be reflected in the price...NOT! maybe an additional 2 or 3 $. that's it.and a spectacular pedicure. im not going to keep anna's in business or put them out of business w/my 5X year pedicure, but, im a fan.
