I went in attempting to get my nails done. Instead of telling me straight off that they were booked, they proceeded to give me a price break down that I did not ask for in attempts to deter me. After I said, "that's fine" to their in depth price breakdown, they then informed me that I was able to come back 4 hours later as they had no appointments sooner. This nail salon is the worst nail salon/business i have ever had the misfortune to visit. The owner was rude. When I mentioned to him that his prices were a little "up there" he actually kicked me out!  I was already sitting down about to get my nails done and this rude person kicked me out of the establishment. I have been getting my nails done for 27 years and have never experienced anything like today. I went in for a gel fill and a couple of my nails were broken due to some outdoor work. The woman said that I needed a complete new set which was fine I didn't necessarily agree but I was OK with it.  She continually moved my hands around pulling on my fingers couldn't seem to find a comfortable position in which to work. My clothes were covered in nail dust. No apology. The whole experience was absolutely awful never experienced anything like that. Also took an hour and 40 minutes. This place is so hit or miss for me. When they first opened i used to ger my eyebrows down religiously here and never had an issue. Now there wax breaks me out. But i will say they do listen when you tell them how you like your eyebrows done. As for nails i went 3 weeks ago on a whim. Got a gel mani for halloween and the younger girl in the first chair did an amazing job. Lasted 3 weeks my nails felt hard and strong. Went today and had a different woman. The gel was streaky when she painted it and it is bubbling. My nails feel very weak this time, not capped and top coat is not smooth. Like i said hit or miss. Read Less

Walked out of this establishment frustrated and embarrassed due to the lack of professionalism from one of their technicians. Not only did she cut 2 of my fingers with the cuticle remover, she also embarrassed me when I asked for change for a $20.00 so I can tip her because she expected me to give her the whole $20. She also kept advertising how much dead skin she had to remove from my feet by yelling "I can make another foot with this much skin" and laughing out loud. Made smart remarks regarding a tattoo on my leg and had the audacity to tell me that the next time she pinches my skin I need to say "ouch" rather than pulling my hand away because I felt pain. This place is horrible!!! I went in for a gel French manicure and that's not what I got at all! The line is not white or straight! Not to mention I have more polish on the sides and underneath of my nails then on my naIl themselves and was there for over an hour... I asked to see the manager to show him the terrible job and he didn't speak English and refused to have the woman redo it! Needless to say, I not only wasted an hour of my life but $30 in top of it. This was my first visit to this establishment; and sorry to say -- my last.  My french manicure lasted exactly 7 days and was a shoddy job at best.  For the price that I was charged, it should have lasted a lot longer.  There was  also a little girl running  around with a customer's daughter  -- being loud and very annoying.  I tried this place because it was closer to where I live , but I will be returning to my original nail salon in WATERTOWN where i can honestly say my manicure lasted almost 4 weeks -- now i say that is worth the money you paid for -- unlike at Sun Nails. I have had many manicures and pedicures in my life, and I can honestly say that this was the worst mani/pedi I've ever had. Pedi: Rushed. Did not file my toenails or clean up cuticles. Barely any massage. The paint job was awful - could see hardened paint drips on 6 out of my 10 toes. Mani: She tried pushing my cuticles back and trimming them without soaking and softening them. Which led to me bleeding. She then poured some random blue liquid into my cuts. When I asked what it was, she rolled her eyes at me and kept putting it on. Then she painted my nails and screwed up two of them, again getting annoyed when I asked her to fix them. The whole lotion and hand massage step was skipped entirely. All of this and there was a young girl running around, jumping on chairs, shaking the workers trying to get them to interact with her, etc. I like kids, and she was cute, but people come here to relax. I will never go back here, no matter how cheap it is, and will tell my friends never to go there either. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are plenty of others in the area! Read Less

I'm a parent of two children. When I find time to get a Mani and pedi I want to relax.Today one of the employees had her six year old jump while giving me rushed service. Kay usually services me here and its like heaven, I found out today she no longer works here instead I'm stuck with the staff member and kid .Please leave you're children home. I've been going to this place for a couple months now, I went there once about a year ago and was not happy at all! Decided to try this place again since it's so convenient to me. The first time I had gone they guy did my nails & I was no impressed with the paint job, polish all over my cuticles & I had gel nails so it was very difficult to clean up. Very clean inside. Korean owned.Spacious. Good prices. $30 for a mani+pedi combo special. They have massage chairs so you can get a free massage while you get your pedi- SCORE! Really friendly! Clean restrooms. God service. Large variety of nail polishes to chose from, OPI and ESSI are among the brand names they carry. They also offer massages. The energy inside is quiet and focused though there is light music. Plenty of street parking. There was no wait to be helped when i came in at 2pm on a Wednesday. They offer gift certificates incase you want to surprise your friend with a pampering session gift card, and they also offer some soft of membership and discount if you pay cash. So disappointed in this place.  It's nice and clean inside and although the staff is nice the service is not great. I got a mani-pedi. They rushed through my pedicure, my heels which normally feel smooth afterwards still feel rough. My manicure was quick and they didn't even paint them nicely. The ONLY thing I liked was the massage that they give you while you are getting your nails done. The massaged my neck and shoulders really well. I will not be returning here. Read Less
