Outdated practices, poor business sense and rushed, sloppy service. That’s the best way to describe this salon, unfortunately. This is a warning to anyone looking to get their nails done here — don’t! Ladies, we get our nails done to feel good. I left today feeling scammed and disappointed. My nails are brittle and weaker than when I came in and I had an event to go to tonight. Here’s what happened: I called in advance to ask for shellac french fade nails and they told me t...hey’d take a look once I got to the salon. When I got there, they told me they would try do to it and I received a manicure BELIEVING that I would get the polish that I came in wanting. Boy, was I wrong. Messy, terrible attempts at a french fade were done and unfortunately, I wasn’t happy. Being a REPEAT customer, I believed I would be taken care of but they said, “Sorry, we can’t do it,” and STRIPPED my nails of the shellac preparation, making them weaker and more brittle than when I came in. When I got to the front, they insisted on charging me despite the fact that I was leaving with weak, brittle, unpolished nails that weren’t even shaped carefully or well. I paid $15.75 to be disappointed and to have my time wasted. I understand that the service was done but I had it done WITH THE UNDERSTANDING that they’d be able to do my simple polish request. A french ombre is not new or difficult to do — I don’t believe my ask was unreasonable. I told them that due to my dissatisfaction, I’d be getting a chargeback through my bank and they warned me that **I’d be in trouble for doing that**. No — to my knowledge, if you feel you were charged for a service that didn’t end up being as described, you are entitled to your money back. $15.75 isn’t a lot of money but it is a lot to pay to be disappointed! As a consumer, I don’t feel good putting even a dime into supporting such poor service. This salon doesn’t offer nail trends like marble, chrome, iridescent powder etc. and doesn’t even do a great job at the classics. (Returned out of convenience and decent first experience. Wanted to support the business despite my shellac mani peeling off within a week). I’d take my money elsewhere — especially some place I knew that my satisfaction mattered. So disappointed, I asked for gel on my hands and regular pedicure on my toes. First of all not enough coats & I can see where she didn’t go all the way back with the brush. Now there’s a visible nail polish on where she stopped half way. My gel looks terrible. Also not enough coats. It’s always the same lady too. Wish I knew her name. She’s unfriendly & rushes through you. I might go back but refuse service from her next time. I’m going to have to drive further and see someone else in the future. Really disappointed. Read Less
