BEST PLACE I have found in town. Tho I haven’t been to many here in Torrington, I have fallen in love with this place. Not only is the establishment clean and neat, but the workers are FANTASTIC as is the job they do! Bobby and his employees are proud of the work they do and stand behind it 100%. If I’m unsatisfide with something, they will not let you leave till you are happy. I recommend ALL of my family and friends here. Loved the treatment I got here. My entire wedding party came here 2 days before my wedding. The entire salon treated us like royalty. Bobby was fantastic, and did a beautiful job on my nails. His employees did a great job on my pedicure, and did a fantastic job on my eyebrows. I've been coming here for YEARS now, probably since high school, and will continue to do so. My pedicure lasted for my entire honeymoon, which was over a week after my wedding, and stayed on until I wanted more "me" time and got another! Popped in here yesterday for a repair and re polish as I was in the area. Very poor attention to detail. Gel base covered my cuticles and finish was poor. Didn't have time to have 're done so called later to complain. They argued with me from the start as I didn't want to return for my nails to be corrected. I just wanted the gel taken off and a refund. After 20 mins he agreed. I've been in today and oh my god!!! Gel was removed with total disregard for my nails. The corners ...of 3 nails have been filed down. When I mentioned this they tried to tell me they were already like it. They were not!! The women told me I was rude and said I can't expect perfect nails. I replied that I simply wanted the colour removed and the shape should not have been changed. I couldn't be bothered to argue so went to grab my bag and when i turned around she was taking photos of me! I asked what she was doing and she ran into the back of the shop. I got toe nails and nails fungus after so many years I had my pedicure and manicure done here. I always trusted all technicians here because they were friendly and salon itself was clean look. I doubted tools and pedicure chair are not clean enough that's why how I got fungus. Lately I checked with state board of cosmetology about licensing and hygiene checking, state board of cosmetology doesn't require nail technician has to have license or yearly hygiene checking. Disappointed! After asking T-Town Chatters where the the best place in town to get my nails done, the majority said "Serenity Nail Spa". First time I had my nails done by Van, second done by Amy, third done by Mary, last time done by Bobbi (owner). My nails never looked identical at all after trying almost of the nail technicians that people recommended, but I have to say Amy was the worst that I ever had my nails done. Salon is just mediocre, equipments are not quality. I hope the owner who runs the business recognize it in order to fix for better future business. Read Less

I loved how my manicure and pedicure came out as soon as I forked over $70 bucks with tip. Two days later my big toe started hurting and I went to the foot doctor to find out it was infected and they said it was definitely from the pedicure. To make things worse my pink gel nails turned brown. I will never come back here and I am so disappointed I wasted so much money for an infection and brown nails! Ridiculous! Read Less

I REALLY wanted to like this place. Ive been 3 times now and I wont return. First time I went (on recommendation), I arrived on time for my appointment with Van, signed in and sat down. Van called in to see if I was there,  the owner didnt see me (because he was outside smoking) and and told Van I didn't show up, so told him he could go run errands. I sat for 15 minutes before they realized. Bobby laughed as he explained what had happened and not once did he apologize. Van showed up 45 minutes after my appointment. Second time - my only complaint is Van smelled like cigarettes.Last Saturday my appointment was at 1pm. Bobby (reeking of cigarettes) told me Van was running a couple minutes late. I sat there for FORTY FIVE minutes. No apology from the owner, no accomodations. If I wasn't there to use a gift certificate I would have walked out after I had waited 20 minutes. When I left, someone walked in and asked for Van. Bobby told them he was almost done. Van had just started with a client. Service is awful and if you dont smoke or have quit or just hate the smell of smoke, I dont recommend this place at all. Read Less

Way overpriced!!!!! Ended up paying $80 for med length gel nails with a basic base color and a couple simple stripes painted on. The nail shape was not right and I even had to go back the following day for a repair due to the poor quality of work. Never again! Read Less

They did my nails for my wedding and I had so many people come up to me and ask where I got them done. They came out amazing. The prices are great. The people who work there are so nice and helpful. I go there now to get my eyebrows waxed and they do a wonderful job. Please is clean and kept nice. Easy to get in and out and also very easy to get to. Only Place I will get my nails done! I just went for my first time today and I loved it! They were wonderful! Did a great job on my pedicure and the hours/days they are open (7 days a week) works out really well for me- I can usually only get out on a Sunday. Lovely atmosphere, reasonable prices and caring, GENTLE people working there! I got some really pretty nail art done as well, I am very happy and will be returning! Read Less
