I had recently gone in and I was looking for a set of acrylics. The man at the counter informed me that they don't do acrylics and how they damage your nails. I asked if they did any type of fake nails and he said yes. The pricing option for a set of fake nails was 90 DOLLARS. I opted for something cheaper and got a set of UV gel nails over my real nail. I asked how long they lasted and they said about 2 weeks. It was overpriced but I really wanted to give this place a try. So I got my manicure and my nails done and they looked great. But after 3/4 days they were chipping and the edges on some of my nails was peeling up at the corners. I'm not that hard on my hands so I was really disappointed. $38 down the drain. Only reason I'm not giving it 1 star is because it is clean and the woman who did my nails was so nice. Read Less

I love this salon. far superior to the others I have been to in this area. My gel mani lasts over 2 weeks and the place is clean and relaxing. Not loud - and even as a newcomer the technicians were welcoming which is not usually the case. Every gel mani comes with a little shoulder massage too! It's amazing. Clean, friendly, great customer service. Had a gel mani and regular pedicure. Charlie took his time on the mani, gave my nails a great shape and I got a back massage and hot towel treatment. $38 for the gel, but worth it. I think the pedi was around $30. I put my shoes on too early and realized I smudged both big toes on my way out. Came back in and Charlie immediately did a polish change, and gave me a topcoat to help with drying. Will be back! One of the best nail salons I've ever been to! They go out of their way to make sure you have a relaxed and comfortable experience and my nails have always come out great. The salon itself is very nice and spacious. Very reasonably priced for all of the special touches you get. Read Less

I wish that I had known about this place earlier. got the gel manicure two weeks ago for my graduation. Still looks as good as it did when I got it done :) I felt welcome and the ladies were friendly and nice. I also got eyebrow waxing, which they only cleaned up without touching the shape just as I requested. when I was at school, I've tried different places for gel nails. I believed that they were supposed to stay for a couple of weeks, but they would chip right off. I was happy to see that these nails stayed so long ,and it looks great! No hot water to wash your hands yuck!! When I mentioned this to the woman doing my manicure she made it seemed like it was no big deal. I am so pleased that I found this place. I went with my friends, the day before her wedding, and the staff was all super nice, friendly and outgoing. They treated us like VIPs and even have us a nice little gift. Amy did my manicure and pedicure and she did a fabulous job. She was attentive, friendly and the manicure/pedicure came out great! My friend had Paige and had the same experience. We also had a great encounter with Moon, who was funny and darling! The prices are extremely reasonable for the great service you get. This place is OK, but I've never been there without being cut with the cuticle clippers and each time they didn't have enough antiseptic and ended up trying to clot the blood by painfully rubbing the cut w a tissue. The work they do here is decent- but def not great. Read Less

Clean & thorough. CASH ONLY but there is an atm on the opposite side of the plaza. I've been many times for mani/pedis.  I find them to  be priced the same as places in Rocky Hill & West Hartford I frequent on occasion.  Only left there disappointed once bc the girl did a poor buffing job  to my nails but everything else was greaat. I loved this place.  I got a pedicure (just the generic one- they offer a variety of pretty pricey specialty pedi's but I opted for the generic).  I have to say it was one of the best I've ever had.  This woman spent at least 50 minutes grooming nails, cuting cuticles, buffing away calluses, painting, etc. They have great massage chairs and she even rubbed my neck as my nails were drying!! This place really does do a stellar job...but you have to pay for that quality.  Prices are quite a bit steeper than other nail salons in the area but to be honest as a treat every once in a while you can't put a price on being treated like a princess :) HINT: stop by weekdays for discounts! This place is great!  Finally a nail / waxing salon in Tolland - and worth going to.  I have been here numerous occasions and would go more frequently if I lived in CT; however I am in NYC but grew up in Tolland.  Regardless, I am in my 20's my mom in her 50's and my granny in her 90's and all three of us love this place.  The owner is Moon and she and her talented and friendly staff are wonderful!  They are gentle yet firm with their mani/pedis and they took such amazing care of my 95 year old granny.  They were so sweet and made her feel so pampered.  They place is warm feeling and very clean, spotless even.  No worries in that department.  Everyone can get their own personal box with files and other tools to ensure a personal and "sterile" experience.  Additionally I got a bikini wax (brazilian to be exact) and Moon and another lady worked with me and it was as a good wax should be.  It took a little while, they did not rush to get me in and out of there in 10 minutes like other places I have been.  They made sure I was always comfortable, making sure nothing was too hot and so forth.  They even gave me a heated towel to put under my back to make me even more comfortable and were able to give me one of the best wax jobs I have ever had.  (I do not have difficult areas so if you have thick, hard to work with areas I cannot speak directly to that, but I bet you'd be in good hands).  For the first time I had almost zero ingrown after a wax as well.  The prices were average and 100% worth it.  The staff will get to learn your name and face and you will be so happy they did.
