I usually come to this nail salon because they are nice out outgoing, but recently the attitudes in there have changed. I asked for a refill and sat down with the woman. She one did not shape my nails the way i asked and my thumbs were two different lengths. Two i asked for a specific pink and she proceeds to give me white nails. When i was done i realized half my acrylic was still hanging out from under my real nail. My nails looked thick and i was all together unsatisfied. The only person who can do nails in there is V. Horrible I was resting from a long drive and came in ask how long Lady said oh just few minutes pick color. That was a joke over 1hour an 15 minutes the only great thing at this place was the customers waiting so friendly and the bathroom since I'm pregnant waiting waiting so long. I thank the wonderful customer that recommended another place. OMG Cherry Nails I fell in heaven as soon as I got in kindness and they started on me. I have been to Beautiful Nails a handful of times over the past few months, and the service has been consistently excellent. The technicians are friendly, attentive, and meticulous, while the management is professional and honest. The quality service and reasonable prices have attracted an abundance of customers, making appointments necessary most of the time. However, I have been able to simply walk in without an appointment for a mani-pedi during less busy periods. Alysa is amazing! She really cares about her customers. Her work is absolute perfection. Best mani-pedi *ever*! Beautiful Nails is clean and comfortable, and they do not skimp on equipment and product quality. A basic pedicure includes a thorough callous buffing - a feature you cannot get at Paradise Nails on Paradise Green in Stratford. And...Beautiful Nails basic pedicure costs $5 less! The atmosphere at Beautiful Nails is one of happiness and harmony. It is refreshing and heartwarming to observe the staff working together in a supportive manner. This was a good no frills kind of place.  The salon could use an update but everything was clean and the staff was all friendly.  Pricing was good, about average for this area.  They use a power tool on your feet.  This was totally new to me, but I didn't hate it.  The manicure was well done and lasted a little over a week, which is what I expected.  No massage was included with the manicure though.  This is a deal breaker for me. A friend of mine recommended this place so I went for a regular manicure and pedicure. Well I guess if you are a long time regular you get top notch treatment here . As a first time customer I was not at all impressed. Was told they don't take appointments on Fri. or Sat. yet there were 2 regulars who showed up before the place opened along with four of us already waiting . The two were rudely talking  amongst themselves about how they were told to come at 8:45 by the owner and then low and behold they were taken right away by one of the owners  at opening time while  the four of us were clearly there first before them.  When it was finally my turn the other owner was available to take me ,but I was quickly pawned off to another girl so she could work on one of her regular customers. The girl who worked on me was very distracted and actually no lie talked on her phone loudly in her language to her relatives pretty much the whole entire time she was working on me.  Very, very unprofessional and not one of the owners said anything to her and I didn't feel it was my place to do so .I felt like walking out without paying while I was sitting waiting for my nails to dry since they probably wouldn't of even noticed plus it actually took over two hours,way too long .The price was fine and I still gave the girl a tip . I am honest, polite ,and professional So I will never go back to this place which clearly does not operate that way nor will I tell anyone else new to go there. Read Less

I drove a friend to Stratford for a dentist appointment and had 1 & 1/2 hour free time. Decided to get a manicure. When I walked into "Beautiful  Nail's " I was surprised at the amount of business on a Monday afternoon. The place was full and the energy was positive. The woman who asked me what service I wanted was upbeat, sweet and open for conversation. A delight !  She gave me an amazing manicure. Attitude is everything to be in business today, especially with the internet and reviews. Everyone seemed happy including the customers. Some of the detail was lacking but a smile certainly took care of that.It's hidden in a shopping center in the back but parking is easy and free.Give it a try and check out the Consignment shop "This and That " down on Main only a block away. I went here on a very busy Saturday which I don't recommend unless you don't mind waiting a while but I will definitely come back here during the week. I received a very relaxing and thorough pedicure here, reasonably priced. The staff is pleasant and  I witnessed some very pretty nail designs being done as well(I'm more of your basic one color kind of girl myself).
