Dana, the owner, is truly one of a kind! I was looking to get my hair done for a wedding and fit me in on the day at the exact time I needed. Not only did my hair come out great, but Dana even took the time to share with me her tips and tricks on how to properly blow dry and style my own hair after I shared with her how terrible at it I was myself! Only people with a true passion for what they do would take the time to do something like that. Dana's talent and dedication to her craft were so evident in just my one interaction with her, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone. These ladies did my hair and makeup, along with my bridesmaids and mom, for my May 19th wedding. THEY WERE AMAZING! Since I got back from my honeymoon, I have had a number of friends, family, and co-workers gushing about how pretty all the girls looked at the wedding. I personally was in love with my hair and make-up. Dana and her girls came to us in our hotel and did a wonderful job making sure each of my bridesmaids felt pretty and comfortable in their hair. My mother, who does not wear make-up normally and has very short hair, looked absolutely stunning. I called Mystic Color Salon & Spa to make an appointment for makeup application because I was attending a wedding in Mystic as an out-of-town guest. The salon was able to make an appointment for me at the exact time I needed it. On the day of my appointment, I arrived at the spa a bit early. I was greeted warmly by Dana, who was my esthetician. She promptly got to work, letting me know what she was doing as she went along. I let Dana know that previous makeup applications had left me looking clownlike, that I would prefer a natural look. I had a wonderful experience at this Salon. Not only did the Owner, Dana, go out of her way for myself and my friend when we requested pedicures and massages, (we called close to closing time) she also contacted two wonderful people to come in to give us AMAZING massages.
