They rush you as quickly as possible through their services. The owner (yes... owner) snapped at me when I told her I had SNS on my nails from a prior salon saying I should have told her as soon as I walked in because it takes forever to get off (which it does not... it comes off ten times quicker and easier than gel). She left me to soak my hands on acetone for 30 minutes and sent someone else over to do my nails eventually. My friend's manicurist consistently does gel manicures without going to the nail bed, leaving a visible gap that makes it took like your manicure is automatically one week old. This was my go to nail salon since I live across the street but I had the worst experience ever today and will not return.  I made an appointment for 6:15 for a regular manicure and pedicure and they took too many walk ins and rushed through the entire process.  It was hectic, frustrating, and in no way relaxing as a nail salon should feel.  I had the manicure being done same time as the pedicure which should not be the case with an appointment.  After they finished their botchy rush job they sent me over to the dryers and basically told me to leave after only a few minutes.  They were all standing around with their purses and told me to come back tomorrow if I have to, which I don't have time to do.  Hence the reason I made an appointment for TONIGHT not tomorrow.  My thumbnail has a bubble and both my big toes are smudged as I was forced to leave with wet nails.  I am in a wedding this weekend and now have to get them redone as they look so bad.  Very disappointed, whoever runs this business has no idea what they are doing.  Taking more customers doesn't make you money if you lose a loyal one in return. Most times this is an above average nail salon but it really suffers when they become busy.  I got in today before they got really busy so I thought it would be fine but it became very busy while I was there and I ended up having a manicure and pedicure completed in less than 40 minutes.  I will be lucky if the polish lasts 3 days with how sloppily it was applied because he was rushing.  I generally avoid this place in the summer and we seemed to have hit the busy season today. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL NAIL SALON , I had an appointment one day right before closing with Cindy / Sindy told them I will try to make it but I wasn't able to , I called them the very next day to remake a new appointment told them why I couldn't make it the day before , I made a specific appointment with Cindy for a Gel manicure & regular pedicure new appointment I was sat down in the pedicure chair and was told she will be right with me then they gave me someone else I did mentioned I had a specific appointment with 1 person the owner said she is with a client ? Okay well pedicure is just it why would I go to Cindy if she never took me in the first place at a specific time , I politely told the owner of front desk that I will just do a pedicure and thank you no need for a gel manicure with Cindy , she was not happy and made a comment in front of other customers saying " you didn't come yesterday so she had to take another client " WHAT A JOKE !!!!!!!! I can't say enough good things about this place! It's my neighborhood salon and I try to go every 2-3 weeks. The owner is extremely friendly and the staff always greets me when I walk in. Cindy is my girl...she does a fantastic job, moving quickly and efficiently and is extremely thorough. She always accommodates my requests and tries to duplicate photos that I show her. I have never had a problem getting an appointment or walking in- I think the most I have ever waited was 10 minutes. It's always busy which is a good sign. The salon is also very clean. They have a large variety of colors to choose from- especially gel colors. I don't think the prices are bad...I pay $65 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. They have an ATM on site which is helpful, and they allow you to keep your membership card on file there so you don't have to worry about losing it. 5 stars! Read Less

I left here bleeding A LOT. Do NOT trust these people to wax any part of your body! I asked for a Brazilian bikini wax. The woman waxed the inside...where no human has hair. The result: a bloody tear the entire length of my inner labia. It hurt so badly, and when I asked the (very scared looking) waxer how much I was bleeding, she replied: "normal." I asked her how long she had been waxing; she apparently couldn't understand me (or didn't know what to say under the horrifying circumstances), so she just said "no." (What??) When I got up to painfully dress myself (shaking from the shock and pain of it), the trash can had more than 4 blood soaked tissues in it. I left the room hobbling. Amazing customer service. I was immediately greeted when I walked in. They were all so welcoming and nice and kind. The best part was that they all made sure I was happy with how everything was going . At times, I pointed out the polish that was at another customer's pedicure chair table and they genuinely tried to please me. At other places,there can be a lot of attitude when telling them to make changes,but they were so friendly here. So happy with my pedi and gel manicure. It has been almost 3 weeks, but they look still fantastic~. Amazing~ The salon is also so clean~ they use liners for pedicure for each customer for one time use! Had a positive experience here but just giving it a 3 star due to it just being a run of the mill option with higher pricing. I guess that's just the suburbs for you.  Came here for a standard mani pedi and 10 min massage and it was like $52.... the nails stay in tip toe shape unless you're literally not using your hands for a few days.  Mine lasted probably 2-3 but once I had to revert back to washing dishes and such, the chips came on, then nails broke and the cuticles chafed. But I feel this is standard. I thought the service was good, detailed, salon spacious, and massage pretty good with effort. I would go again out of convenience. When you enter they tell you standard charge for manicure and pedicure. Later while billing they start charging extra for things. Like they charged me 6$ extra for a color. When I selected color they say standard charge.Read Less

They are overpriced and theyre prices are very misleading. They charge alot for there work overall compared to the surrounding areas and then they tell it's that PLUS tax. That's a new one to me. I'm pretty sure they just keep that for themselves. Also I didn't see them using new files for my or others feet which means I'm sharing skim dust with God know how many other people. If I could give this salon zero stars I would. The owner has zero people skills and is unfortunately VERY sneaky and greedy. I went here consistently for 4 months for eyelashes and pedicures. The price would change every single time, as well as the glue for my lashes would change, sometimes it would burn and sometimes it wouldn't. The final time I went here, the owner up charged me $50 dollars for an eyelash fill!! She also MADE ME pay it and threatened to call the police if I wouldn't. Which in and of itself is quite hilarious. She was rude and mean and hateful. I will never be back. Oh and she charged me $15 for a ten minute foot massage, which everywhere else is $1 per minute. I've had my nails done here before and had a great experience but today was very disappointing. My manicurist awkwardly stood over me the entire time i was trying to pick a color and I felt very rushed. The entire time she was painting my nails it just felt like she was rushing to get it over with. My nails are jagged, there's paint everywhere and there are even air bubbles on 2 of the nails, which I didn't even know could happen! And when she walked me over to the drying station, she started to give me a massage and maybe 20 seconds in, another woman came in through the front door and my manicurist said "okay bye" to me and ran to the woman who had just walked in. This nail place is in a great location in Harbor Point, and while my gel manicure was done well it was $38.00 plus tax, that is more than $40 without tip, way too much money. I will continue to use Angel Tips Nail Spa, they provide a well done manicure for less. Read Less

Disappointed. This place is a classic example of the nouveau riche.  Harbor Point is the new, trendy spot in Stamford.  Shops like this tack on "Harbor Point" to attract the younger crowd and attempt to get away with POOR service. Case in point: a co-worker recommended this place for some after-work relaxation.  She had made an appointment for three manicures (2 regular and 1 gel.)They didn't honor or even apologize for not taking our appointments (mind you we were perfectly on time and waited for 45 minutes).  Moreover, HPN&S mask their prices by stating that their products are better than others.  They charged $12 for shoddy manicures (see photo--chipped in 3 days) and $35 for gel.  Moreover, the owner was very rude to my co-worker after she found out that the gel cost $35 (it's not posted online or in the salon).Overall, I was very disappointed and will not be returning. I go into this nail salon almost on a weekly basis for manicures and pedicures. The staff is really friendly and does a good job. Prices are also very reasonable. It can get busy after 5 PM, so expect a wait of at least 15 minutes. If you go earlier during the day, you won't have any issues being sat down almost immediately. They have a membership program that allows you get a free manicure after your 10th visit. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable mani pedis that look good. Read Less

That's what I get for letting my husband take me for a quick massage at "his work spot" It was the worst 15 min ever, I counted as I wanted to be done. Trust me I don't have high expectations for a nail salon quick back massage. But I think after seeing a knowledgeable massage therapist for a while on the regular... Now I can never allow myself to do "quick back massages" by random nail salons. The person simply squeezed every spot on my shoulders as hard as possible even after I requested a "lot" lighter, and simply ignored all the signs that I was straight up in pain. After this I took myself to Greenwich at empys spa for a real massage to fix the damage done to my back! Consider yourself warned. Great place in beautiful neighborhood, south of Stamford. High quality, New York prices. I would recommend this to anyone who like nails done to perfection. They are great with time management I was in and out within 75 minutes. I did gel french manicure and salt spa pedicure. I only wish pedicure was longer. It felt quick for non standard pedicure. I seriously can't believe this place doesn't have 5 stars from everyone! My manicure and pedicure were fantastic. I moved here 2 years ago from the city and haven't found a place I love until now! The massage and foot massage were amazing!! Maybe it gets busy after 5... Making it harder for them to multi task everyone coming in... But a Friday at noon was really peaceful!
