When I walked in and found it COMPLETELY empty I should've followed my gut instinct and walk back out. I picked the salon based on the good reviews, what a mistake! Like I said there was no one else in there, not one other customer, I sat in the pedicure chair with a lady doing feet and the guy comes and starts doing my gel manicure while I'm getting my pedicure! I hate that! I felt completely rushed they didn't listen, they didn't understand what I wanted. I am particular about my French manicures and they made me feel like I was wrong for wanting it done a certain way and I felt like they were talking about me in their language. Extremely rude! My nails aren't filed nicely they're not even. My pedicure was horrible the bottom of my feet are as rough as they were going in I was supposed to get a 10-minute reflexology massage with my pedicure and not one bit of it was reflexology it was simply rubbing with their lotion. I will never go back here nor will I ever tell anyone to try them!! There's clearly a reason why there was not one other person in the place I learned the hard way $80 later!!

The spa is very peaceful and quiet, as well as clean. All of the technicians are personable and knowledgeable, they are not chatty the goal is to relax.

I moved here almost a year ago now, and I've tried 5 different nail salons so far. Gloss is by far the best. It is a beautiful and clean salon, and the pedicure is amazing. I checked out other salons that are closer to me (walking distance), but it is worth the drive and a little higher cost to go to Gloss.

Do NOT go here!!! I am visiting Stamford and looked up nail salons in the area and came across Gloss. After reading some of the wonderful reviews I thought let me give it a try. I got a gel manicure and pedicure and while getting the manicure, the manicurist cut me so bad. There was blood everywhere and I was in tremendous pain. The worst part about it was he tried to hide it (like I wouldn't feel it) by quickly getting a warm compress to put over my face!! When I mentioned to him how much pain I was in he offered to give me a 2 minute massage. How ridiculous and insulting. On top of that my nails look absolutely terrible. Also, if you want to turn the "chair massage" remotes on it'll cost you $10. This place doesn't even deserve one star.

Lovely salon, clean and tidy. Got a gel manicure and it looks great. The technician even offered to do another coat so that the color would really pop, other salon's would either charge extra or refuse to do another coat of gel. The only thing I didn't like was the extra charge for using a credit or debit card. The prices don't reflect that difference online or in store and a gel manicure came out to 34$ because I used a card. Would go back but definitely bring cash to avoid an extra charge. Or suggest adding the 'extra' charge online so people can be prepared with cash!Out of the nail salons I've been to in Stamford, this one was by far the best.

They are the cleanest nail spa in Stamford. They use new files and buffers every time you get a manicure. They take their time on you. They don't rush you. The staff is really friendly. They give great massages. I love this place. I would recommend to anyone! They have the best pedicures and cleanest manicures. I even come here to get eyebrow waxes because they do such a great job. Don't listen to anyone giving this place less than five stars. They are the best!

Amazing service! Highly recommended. All the ladies are very clean and organized. The place and equipment is also clean with a calm atmosphere. Even my active 4 year old calmed down and got her baby mani pedi. My full set was done beautifully and nothing was rushed. Location is easy to find with parking available. This is definitely my go to nail salon. Thank you for the great service.

Love love love. This is my new go to place for nails. Even though they are on the pricey side, you are paying for quality. Got a regular pedicure for $25 and it came out great. The place is so clean and you just feel so relaxed while being there. They open up the tools in front of you, so you know they take pride in being sanitary and keeping everything clean. I can not wait to get a gel re fill on my nails and enjoy all the wonderful perks of being at that salon, even the staff was great. There are so many other places and trust me I was searching on Yelp for a good 30 minutes before I decided to come here, and boy am I glad I did!

This is the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to. Also, the staff is polite and the atmosphere is relaxing. I was recommended to come here by another Yelper (Thanks, Dean!). I'm glad I did. The wait for a manicure was a bit long because I didn't make an appointment. However, my manicure was great. The paraffin treatment and the hand massage were relaxing. The chair was comfortable. I will definitely come here again.

Worst manicure I've ever gotten in my life (and boy have I had plenty). The venue itself is very nice so I was shocked at the service provided. I was rushed and on top of it, I even asked the nail artist to slow down and fix a few things that she apparently didn't think there was a problem with. I am not very particular at all and have never written a review online but felt I had to in this case. The paint was left streaky and uneven and even though she had cleaned up my cuticles, the nail polish looks so jagged at the bottom of my nail where the cuticle lies. It's probably only been three days since I got them done and it looks like it's been two weeks. I'll never go back.

It's a little pricier than other spas and sooo worth it! Very clean and you get new filers and slippers each time you go in for a pedi. And, their Classic Pedi is just the best!!!! Highly recommend...

I moved out from the city and could never find a nail salon I liked. Gloss is such a treat. They give an amazing leg and foot massage with the classic pedicure and it is heavenly. It does cost a bit more than the cheapy places but it is worth it for the cleanliness and first class spa treatment. I was so thrilled to find this place in Stamford after being disappointed by many others I tried. Gloss is definitely for the picky person who wants great treatment.

When I walked in and found it COMPLETELY empty I should've followed my gut instinct and walk back out. I picked the salon based on the good reviews, what a mistake! Like I said there was no one else in there, not one other customer, I sat in the pedicure chair with a lady doing feet and the guy comes and starts doing my gel manicure while I'm getting my pedicure! I hate that! I felt completely rushed they didn't listen, they didn't understand what I wanted. I am particular about my French manicures and they made me feel like I was wrong for wanting it done a certain way and I felt like they were talking about me in their language. Extremely rude! I moved here almost a year ago now, and I've tried 5 different nail salons so far. Gloss is by far the best. It is a beautiful and clean salon, and the pedicure is amazing. I checked out other salons that are closer to me (walking distance), but it is worth the drive and a little higher cost to go to Gloss.

Do NOT go here!!! I am visiting Stamford and looked up nail salons in the area and came across Gloss. After reading some of the wonderful reviews I thought let me give it a try. I got a gel manicure and pedicure and while getting the manicure, the manicurist cut me so bad. There was blood everywhere and I was in tremendous pain. Lovely salon, clean and tidy. Got a gel manicure and it looks great. The technician even offered to do another coat so that the color would really pop, other salon's would either charge extra or refuse to do another coat of gel. The only thing I didn't like was the extra charge for using a credit or debit card. Amazing service! Highly recommended. All the ladies are very clean and organized. The place and equipment is also clean with a calm atmosphere. Love love love. This is my new go to place for nails. Even though they are on the pricey side, you are paying for quality. Got a regular pedicure for $25 and it came out great. This is the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to. Also, the staff is polite and the atmosphere is relaxing. I was recommended to come here by another Yelper (Thanks, Dean!). I'm glad I did. The wait for a manicure was a bit long because I didn't make an appointment. However, my manicure was great. The paraffin treatment and the hand massage were relaxing. The chair was comfortable. Worst manicure I've ever gotten in my life (and boy have I had plenty). The venue itself is very nice so I was shocked at the service provided. I was rushed and on top of it, I even asked the nail artist to slow down and fix a few things that she apparently didn't think there was a problem with. I am not very particular at all and have never written a review online but felt I had to in this case. I moved out from the city and could never find a nail salon I liked. Gloss is such a treat. They give an amazing leg and foot massage with the classic pedicure and it is heavenly. It does cost a bit more than the cheapy places but it is worth it for the cleanliness and first class spa treatment.
