My boyfriend and I got pedicures and he really liked it and he was very comfortable and feet felt amazing! Mine as well! Absolutely amazing experience!  The decor is simple but the salon is clean and cozy. The owners were friendly and gracious and took the time to learn all about us.   There was a little girl at the salon as the same time as us and the owner (husband) was so patient and kind with her.  Our mani/pedis were well done and worth every penny.  We went near closing and even when everyone else was done and gone, the owners continued to chat with us.  I've never been loyal to any salon before, but I will be to this one (and considering it's a 20 minute drive, that says a lot!) Cute nail salon, bigger than it appears. Both nail technicians were great and our mani pedis were perfect. They accommodated same Day request for two.The one note that it was 80 degrees out and 80 degrees inside as well. Very uncomfortable, even when we shared the suggestion for more air conditioning. I've been twice and I won't go back.  They don't wash the foot baths in between clients.  The client sitting next to me left and the owner took the dirty washcloth out of the foot bath and started filling it for the next client.  She didn't even rinse it first.   I left with one of my nails all bumpy.  Not the smooth pedicure I expect from getting them done at a nail salon.  I could have done a better job myself at home.   And it would have been more sanitary. Annie's used to be my favorite place.  I have not been in ages because it became a 'drive by' even when I called for an appointment.  I think if they do not know you, and you come in as a new customer, you will get great service.  Enjoy that as once they know they 'have you the service drops down and makes it not worth returning.  The owners are lovely, hard-working ladies so that is a shame. The lady cut my nails really short which is what I wanted but then she started to file it down when it was already short. It hurt me because she was filing close to the nail bed. My ails did not look neat at all. She didn't do a good job shaping them. Some places I can walk out with no polish because it looks so good before they even put polish on. This place it looked bad even after. She did a bad job applying polish. It looked all wrinkly. I had to make her redo it. She just rubbed her hands with remover and wiped her finger on my nail to take some polish off and put more polish on. She didn't even take all the polish off before putting more. The massage was painful. She kept hurting my shin. She was squeezing so hard as she massaged my legs. I like a strong massage but it was all in the wrong places. She kept pressing down on my shin. I just wanted her to stop. The nail polish I chose was so sheer and horrible. She applied three coats and it still looked sheer. Why do they have that on the shelf? Cost me $31 plus $7 tip. The staff isn't really nice and they double and triple appointments, making people wait forever.  I went one time and they had a woman waiting for well over an hour and she had to be in her 80s, extremely sweet, and they were rude and condescending towards her. That experience alone was enough to put a bad taste in my mouth. And the paint they use always chipped within a week. Read Less

I have been here twice now, the first time for mani pedis with my 9 year old daughter, and again today for a gel mani. Annie's is my new go to nail salon. They were excellent with my daughter who can be very shy, even put a little design on her nails without her having to ask. They are quick, efficient, friendly and my nails look amazing! I got a gel mani today, was taken immediately, in and out in less than 45 minutes AND they give you an awesome hot towel massage while your nails dry. Highly recommend this salon! Read Less

After my normal nail salon couldn't take me last minute, I looked up this place. If you want a short and not-so-sweet review: Go anywhere else than this place!! I had no idea what to expect from Annie's. Since they have no website I didn't know what services they had. I called them and asked them what kind of services they offered, I asked them if they did acrylics- they said yes. It was 30 dollars. They told me to come in any time.  Driving to the place is easy, it's set in the back of Bennett Square. I walked through the door where there was no desk or someone to greet me so I just stood there. It was dim and crowded and drab. A woman yelled across the room finally and asked me what I wanted. I had to yell over all the employees and their clients that I wanted acrylics. She yelled to me that they didn't do them and quickly went back to her client. No one gave me what kind of alternative services they offered, no one talked to me at all, I was completely ignored accept for clients just looking at me while I stood there unsure of what to do. I've never been treated like that at any salon, or even any store. This place is a joke. I drove right across the street to a different salon and was treated much better. Read Less

Nice environment, reasonable price.  This will be my new go to for mani/pedi this summer.  There are nice massage chairs and they give you a bonus shoulder massage with manicure.  My nails look great but I'm not that picky.  I will definitely be returning. Read Less

I Love this place. I love the employees and the service. MOST of all...there are no harsh smells... They massage you while you wait AND during your manicure. I love the fact that they carry the One week gel Polish...I strayed and went somewhere else in town and vowed to not go again....I also noticed the professionalism...they do not talk about clients in another language like some others in town.... Great place to get nails done. I've rarely had to wait for more than a few minutes to get in. Lots of colors to choose from and the manis last for close to a week without chipping (and I'm hard on my nails). Great massages too! Read Less

Annies is by far the best nail salon in the area. I have frequented most in southbury and oxford and find the others lacking. The prices at Annie's are competitive but they go the extra mile and provide fantastic service and a friendly atmosphere. The studio is always impeccably clean and they are always willing to do what they can to get you in as a walk in. The chairs are comfy and they all work, and the extras that you get (back massage, tea, additional attention) make you really feel at home. Read Less

I went here despite it not being reviewed and I am glad I did. I went with my mom on a Wednesday morning and called about 10 minutes before we got there to see if they could take us and they did, and even though it was a morning in the middle of the week they got very busy around 10. The building didn't smell like nail polish, which was greatly appreciated, and it was very clean and bright. They ONLY accept tips in cash so keep that in mind. It was $78 for both my mom and myself and even though I tipped over 20% I didn't feel like I had tipped enough for the wonderful service!Everyone was very nice when we walked in and they have a very large selection of OPI and Essie colors, so it took a little bit to pick a color. They did the pedicures first and the massage chairs actually gave a pretty nice massage. The girls that took care of us were very friendly and kept us smiling, my toes looked amazing before they even put a drop of polish on them. It did take a while but if you have time I highly recommend getting a pedicure.After that they took us to our manicure chairs and gave us a short shoulder massage before starting the manicure, again my fingers looked wonderful. The manicure took about the average time of a manicure but they actually do a good job in the short time instead of just slapping polish on.They took us over to the drying station and gave us a hot towel massage which was absolutely wonderful and let us sit there as long as we wanted to.
