When you travel 45 minutes from Stamford to Seymour to get a manicure and pedicure, something has to be right! I have been coming to Tiffany Nails for the past 5-1/2 years because I not only love Michelle, Jimmy, Betty, Tracy and the rest of their staff, but the quality of their work is superb! I followed Michelle from Stamford when she worked for a local salon - she had already been doing my nails for three years before she bought her own business - It is a beautiful, comfortable, extremely clean nail salon where you feel special as a customer! After I did my nails a day later one chipped and I tried to fix it but they couldn't because it had to be redone and it would be $$ so I left but then the next day came and they started coming off. The nails I paid for were French gel and not cheap at all. It is so not worth it unless you repeat yourself what and how you want them and they don't even make it thick enough for them to stay on for 2 weeks to a month!Read Less

it was TERRIBLE! every lady I've ever been to in there does not listen to me at all. they are all extremely rude and it's not even worth a $12 manicure because they don't even cut your cuticles. they didn't clean the sides of my nails which had paint on them. all of the tools they use have been used before and are dirty with other people's skin on them. I never have anything less than a superb experience here. Whether I have an appointment or am a walk-in, I am taken care of quickly and with warm, personal care. My latest experience was a one-hour massage with Mary. I am a massage junkie with a lot of experience, and this was one of the absolute best. Fantastic! Yikes. What a sub-par first experience at this nail salon. They have a nice place. It is clean and neat. But they had some service issues which took away from the experience. Firstly, we had a 3:30 appt and they did not take us until 4pm. My sister got a gel manicure. She was left at the table having her previous nails removed in foil for 10 minutes with no attention. The man came back only to play on his cell phone in front of her. No attempt to interact with her. She had to... ask for a massage that was supposed to be included with her service. I had a spa pedicure. Overall, the service included a nice amount of massaging, but the lady who was helping me was obviously exhausted and was talking about it with coworkers while working on me. It didnt make me feel welcome or appreciated at all as a customer. At the end I asked for a flower design. A man translated what I wanted to my lady. Then, another man came over and preceeded to give a design that had lines. I was trying to be nice by saying it was ok when he asked, but I really was not happy. But then 2 of the other employees glanced at my design and started giggling. Again, made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. As I was drying, I decided to ask to have my design removed because I really wasnt happy. I hope they learn from this review. This place was recommended to my by a friend, so my 16-year-old daughter used her b'day money to get her first ever UV Gel Manicure. She didn't realize it was going to cost $70, so she was in for a surprise when it came time to pay, but she loved the way her nails looked, so that had softened the blow. However, only a couple of days passed by before her first nail FELL OFF! We went over to the salon and asked them to fix the nail and they agreed to do so at no charge. That wasn't the end of it, however, because a couple of days later another nails fell off and then another!!! Finally, my daughter went to the salon, explained the situation and asked (nicely) to get her money back ($70 is A LOT of money for a 16-year-old!). THEY REFUSED. So the poor kid just had them take the rest of the nails off and left. There's $70 down the drain. SHAME ON YOU! Read Less

I came here after receiving a gift card from a friend with my sights set on a French manicure. I didn't make an appointment so I had about a 20 minute wait, which I didn't mind since it was the weekend and they were super busy. The employees were also very nice and accommodating. The main reason I'm giving three stars is because of how poorly my manicure has held up. In less than a week, both the white line and the nail polish near my cuticles has chipped off dramatically. I also began getting hang nails the next day after my visit. I understand nail polish will inevitably chip off, but I have painted my own nails with average brand nail polish, base and top coat and have had them last longer. I also wasn't too keen on the process before the manicurist painted my nails. It seemed like more time was spent clipping and filing my nails than actually prepping them for polish. Also, after leaving my house I realized I had some left over nail polish I forgot to remove. I didn't think to ask the manicurist to remove it because I assumed that was something they would do (maybe that was my fault). When I got in my car to leave the salon, I noticed the old nail polish was still there and it looked awful on my newly polished nails. Overall, the employees were very nice but the process (at least the one I had) wasn't that great. I didn't leave with my hands feeling refreshed, smooth and polished like I have at other salons and my manicure lasting less than a week is just not cool. Read Less

This is the WORST place I have ever gone for a pedicure! They didn't take off any rough skin. They didn't use good enough nail polish for my french pedicure because it didn't look as good and it has already chipped and I just got it. They are extremely overpriced. I moved to the valley about two years ago and I've been coming to Tiffany's nails ever since. I'm officially a convert and completely shocked by the negative reviews. First of all, the look of the salon is far better than most, very clean, and it doesn't stink of nail polish remover, which I find to be a positive quality when I'm trying to relax. Michelle and her team (Tracy is my favorite!) are talented, kind, and communicates. I really enjoy that no matter who is working on my hands, they always inquire about my preferences for length and shape.The only complaint I could have (and it's so minor) is that I think they need to find a better way to remove calluses. I've had their 'callus busting' pedicure and while my feet felt smoother, they didn't necessarily feel smooth. Even with that though, there's no place if rather go for a little pampering. Read Less

This place is honestly the best. The prices are the same as almost everywhere else and they do a much better job. The pedicures are so great and they have the best gel manicures. It's true that there are some new people, but when one of them did my nails, they came out great! I have been coming here since I have moved to the Valley and can attest to the skills and friendliness of Tiffany's Nails. I don't really understand why all the reviews are so negative when every time I have come here mani and pedi has come out perfect. I always spend a little extra for the spa pedicure which comes with an additional 15 min massage and callous removal among other relaxing services. Michelle and the ladies who work here are so friendly and never ever rush, which is the best part! My spa pedicure almost always takes a little over an hour, so if you're in a rush, try the basic pedicure instead.Don't listen to the other reviewers who had negative things to say. I am a repeat customer and would come back to this salon even if I moved across the state! They accept tip on credit card too which I've been noticing most salons don't! Plus they are located next door to a Starbucks so you can pick up their WiFi or enjoy a beverage while you're getting a foot rub ;-) Read Less

The previous review of this salon is unfair as it was written prior to the new ownership which took over in June 2011 - Tiffany Nails with its new management is excellent - quality customer service - exceptionally clean and modern salon, and the staff goes above and beyond to provide a relaxing atmosphere for its customers.  I travel from Stamford, CT to Seymour because I know that I will be totally satisfied.  The owner of Tiffany Nails was previously in my area and I did not want to lose the quality of service to which I had become accustomed so I gladly make the trip.  I highly recommend Tiffany Nail and Spa; I am sure you will not be disappointed. This is by far the BEST nail place in the area.  I believe the previous "reviewer" went prior to the change in management and unfortunately will miss out on Michelle and her wonderful staff.  The staff caters to your every need, including complimentary chinese tea, parafin wax and mini-massages while your nails dry (massages usually just on weekends).I drive 15 minutes out of my way, each way, to go to Tiffany Nails, even though there are 2 places next to my work and 1 just down the road from my home.The staff is always very friendly and personable, even going above and beyond by remembering my name, my prefrences and having friendly conversation while they work. Beyond the service, they are also superb at their craft.  Some of the staff has been doing nails for 10+ years.  They are clean, do a wonderful job and are professional while still making you feel at home.Michelle (manager) is always there and always lovely and inviting.Cindy (tech) is also always there and super "cute" and friendly.Jimmy (tech) 10+ years experience, and a sparkling additude.Kevin (tech) one of my favorite employees!  Quite the jokester, while still a gentleman.I don't know everyone's names that work there, but I have NEVER had a bad experience no matter who I got.Best kept secret in Seymour!!~Melissa Read Less

A very clean, bright and inviting nail spa. I've used them for awhile and  have always  been pleased with the manicurists I've used. To comment on the last reviewer, as  in any salon  there could  be variablity between  manicurists, but i've had good luck. I love the  spa pedicures, they use hot stone massage along  with regular  massage  as well  as pariffin waxing of feet  for  added  softness. I  just  tried  the  UV manicure as well and  loved it, I'm  on my second week of a french manicure with no chips.This nail  spa has recently changed  hands (last  two months  or  so) and i'm  glad to see  they  are still very good. I'm new to the area and am searching for a nice manicure. A few people I know have been there and said it was OK.  I went there for a French. They did not file my nails evenly.  One of my nails was chipped on the side and it was just filed down put not evened out on the other side.  My nails were very poorly cleaned and there was still some polish residue on my nails before the new polish was put on.  Under my fingernails was not cleaned. My previous nail techs have always had me wash my hands after they have prepped my nails,  but not a this place!  Tools were sterile and the place is large and clean.  My French manicure was so so.  I had to refile my nails when I got home to straighten some of the nails out so they looked even.  For $17 +$2 tip I expected a lot more. I also thought their services were a bit high for the Valley!! I won't be back and won't reccomend the place to friends. Read Less
