It usually is a hit or miss when getting acrylics done, and this place was a hit! The man working took his time and did an amazing job! It was about $5 more for the fill than a usual place but WELL worth it. They did a lot more for you than a regular place. I am very satisfied and glad I found a good salon in my area. Will be going back here the day before my wedding!

Let Me start off by saying Thank You so Much to CoCo!!! What a Beautifull job you have done to my nails! I totally found this place by accident. I saw their sign by the road on RT 1 in Old Saybrook...
Let Me start off by saying Thank You so Much to CoCo!!! What a Beautifull job you have done to my nails! I totally found this place by accident. I saw their sign by the road on RT 1 in Old Saybrook, and I'm so Happy that I pulled in! I don't have an appt, but Coco quickly took the time to talk with Me, and find out what I was looking for. I haven't been in a Nail Salon for about 12 years or more, so I had No idea on all the New & latest techniques. I have a horrible habit with picking my nails till they hurt, so when I walked in, I had 2 nails the were ripped off halfway up the nail beds, so I wasn't sure if they could even do anything with my nails, the rest of the 8 fingers had very short nails. But Coco reassured Me that she could help my poor hands! I wanted a French Manicure, and Coco suggested a New Technique of doing the French Manicure, and with that she added 10 tips, and then applied the New Material to give Me a very Beautifull & Nutural looking French Manicure!!! The whole process totally amazed Me! After Coco was done with my nails, she proceeded to ask Me if I would like a neck & upper back/shoulder massage with a Hot Stone, over my shirt. I said "Yes", of course!! And it was Total Heaven! She was so gentle, and it felt AWESOME! Then after she was done, I think that completed My Nail session, but I was wrong! Coco then took Me over to the Hot Melted Paraffin Wax bath and dip each of my hands 5 times and then wrapped them to let the parafin wax get firm. After that she finished with giving each hand a massage! What a wonderfull treat all that was! I Love this place, it was nicely decorated, exceptionally clean, soft Spa music filled the air, very relaxing to say the least! Coco is AMAZING, I enjoyed chatting with her! I will be back, although I live approx 40 minutes from the Ocean Star Nails & Spa, it's well worth the trip!

LOVE this place. It was so clean and large. Coco was extremely friendly over the phone and the staff was amazing in person. Coco did a powder manicure for me and it was very well done. You get a hot stone massage, parafin dip and shoulder rub with the standard powder manicure. We just came from the Waters Edge Resort and honestly this was a more therapeutic experience. They don't blare the TV and have relaxing spa music playing. They were playing HDTV which was a relaxing break from the typical Maury or CNN that usually plays in nail salons. 10/10!

This is my new nail salon. I love this place nace people, very clean and they have SNS nail polish. I would highly recommend it. 🤗

Its absolutely wonderful! I have only been twice ( as of now ) and its spotless! Amazing service and employees! A wonderful place to be, my nails have never looked so good!

It usually is a hit or miss when getting acrylics done, and this place was a hit! The man working took his time and did an amazing job! It was about $5 more for the fill than a usual place but WELL worth it. They did a lot more for you than a regular place. I am very satisfied and glad I found a good salon in my area. Will be going back here the day before my wedding!

LOVE this place. It was so clean and large. Coco was extremely friendly over the phone and the staff was amazing in person. Coco did a powder manicure for me and it was very well done.
