Got a gel color manicure done. Very little manicuring, most time spent on gel color. No soaking/moisturizing of cuticles, minimally buffed, quickie application of hand lotion at end. The color has held up for 10 days with no issues. If they spent as much time on my hands as they did the polish, it would have been great. Will not return for this service. Read Less

If I could give them a zero I would. NEVER GO HERE. No one knows what they are doing. I went and Julie did my nails. I got a dark gel color and my nails were see through and looks like shit. The polish is uneven. I would tell the people doing my nails to fix them because they looked uneven and all of them would ask me to repeat what I had said several times because they had no idea what i was saying. If you need someone who can do your nails and do them well go to Jenny at Diva nails in Lisbon she is wonderful and does a great job. If you want shitty uneven nails then go here. I have gone multiple times thinking maybe the person who did them just didn't do well but nope all of them suck. None of them can do a good job. I travel out of state a lot for work, so I'm always trying new salons to keep up with my manicures. I saw this place didn't have that high of ratings, but it was near my hotel so I thought I would give it a go. I asked if they had the latest powder (aka SNS) product for manicures and I was happy to hear they did. I showed up at a typically busy time (~5pm) with no appointment and luckily only had to wait 10-15min. I didn't catch my technician's name, but she was absolutely wonderful. She was very patient, thorough, gentle, and took her time to make my nails look absolutely perfect. I was there for nearly 2 hours because they had to remove my artificial nails and previous powder manicure, but not once did I feel she was rushing or annoyed. After she was done applying the powder and top coat, I got a lovely 5min neck massage and a hotel towel on my hands. Since I was there for so long, I figured I would be spending a lot, but it was only $35 which is what I typically pay elsewhere. Vernal is my favorite place for pedis!!! Today I decided to treat myself to a pedicure, which was excellent, but the entire time I was getting my feet done an extremely rude customer argued with Julie and her poor staff about prices and services non stop. This customer had no idea what she wanted, she changed her mind a dozen times, threatened to walk out of the salon (which would've been nice), and even accused vernal of changing their prices when all the prices have been on the board since they have opened!!! Julie and her team remained SO PATIENT and SO KIND to this rude woman and never once gave her any kind of attitude. Julie continued to work with this customer to make sure she got exactly what she wanted and that the price was affordable for her. Needless to say, cheers to Julie and her team for dealing with a negative and mean customer in such a professional way!! No stars! I can't believe that I made this mistake of going there today. First off she charged me $5 to trim my nails in which I never pay to have done at my normal place. Secondly, Julie did not want to fix a broken nail so I've had to place a bandage on my nail with all of my other nails done. And last of all she had the audacity to not polish my nails correctly for the black gel polish that she's charged an arm and a leg for. This was my first and last time gong there. Highly unsatisfied! A friend and I went here for the first time when our regular nail salon was temporarily closed. The lady who sat me quickly cleaned and filled my nails, which I had no problem with aside from them being thick. Then a man took over doing my nails who spoke near to no English... I asked him to trim only one nail shorter, but he trimmed the wrong one, then trimmed the correct one. So two nails are much shorter. Not one of my nails is straight either. I also asked him to make them thinner, twice, but he didn't change them at all. He then proceeded to put 4 coats of gel polish on my nails and top coat, all before they were completely dry. I asked for him to just paint the tips of my nails, which he did free hand, then nvr cleaned them up, leaving them uneven and messy looking. Safe to say it was my first and last visit. Read Less

A friend and I decided to try this salon being that our regular salon is temporarily closed. The salon itself appears to be clean and the staff is very friendly, however, we are both anything but pleased with our nails. Both of us ended up with crooked nails and gel that was quickly globbed on (and left much too thick, even after our requests to have it fixed). The nail technicians seemed to be rushing through just to get to the next client. Not only are we unhappy with our nails, but we were shocked when told what we owed... this salon is ridiculously expensive and the quality of work is seriously lacking. Spend your money elsewhere!! By far the worst nail salon I've been to. Granted the people were friendly, they did a lazy and horrible job. I asked for a gel manicure, they put acrylic nails on and tried charging me for the price of gel. When my nails were drying the man who did my nails came over to look at them, I watched him look directly at a nic in the polish and then nonchalantly walk away. He would not have fixed my polish if I didn't speak up. Also, the nails were poorly done and they fell off not even 4 days later. I will never come back and I do not reccomend this salon. Read Less

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I asked for long nails, the woman said idk why you want your nails long they're fine short. I told her I wanted them long anyways & she didn't listen then told me they looked fine short lol. She painted my design then went over with the top coat and smudged everything... I really do love this nail salon and have gone there about 8-10 times. I've never had a bad experience until today when Sam did my nails. I was getting my nails done for my graduation and I wanted a 2015 on my ring finer. He rudely insisted I use a gold I picked out originally when my mom found one I liked better after I said I wanted the other one. He also got snippy when I asked him if he could do a grad cap or a paw saying I already paid the $5 for one design and I wasn't getting two when I would have paid for the extra. He did not talk to me besides that until it was time for me to get up and go dry my nails. I smudged my nail and he freaked out on me because he had to do the 2015 over again. All he had to do was write 2015 but he acted like I was in the wrong. He didn't even want to redo my nail but he did and didn't even bother to get the nail polish off properly. HES TERRIBLE! They are really good & there is nothing better than getting a massage after nails are done but there is nothing worst to have the person in charge arguing with customers realizing she is wrong whispering to the customer she is wrongly arguing with than continue to argue bad business she knows she was wrong people go there to relax not to here drama or arguments specially knowing she was wrong not a good look she needs some training or move on let some else that can be professional handle it Read Less
