I went to Lee Nails for the first time to get a Gel manicure. Upon my arrival I was told to pick a color and told them that it was my first time there. No one cared. I understand that some places don't expect you to hold a conversation while getting a manicure, especially when I was the only one that didn't speak Spanish. The whole time I let her work on my nails, was in between her checking her phone, and stopping to pay attention to Telenova. Normally I would just "whatever" at this point, but what grossed me out was between filing my nails, she used the same nail file to file hers, then go back to mine. Really? No organization.  They tell you you'll be waiting ten minutes and it turns into over 45 minutes, so I left.  I was getting waxed and they let someone who came in after me get a pedicure, which is what I was waiting for.  This was my first time here, and I won't be returning.  TERRIBLE NAIL SALON! Unfortunately the reviews were right. Upon it opening (I was one of the first people there) I was not greeted, the workers proceeded to do their own thing and not really pay attention to the customers that now had gathered. We had to sign in (on notebook paper) which I found to be ridiculous. Onto the "pedicure". The worker (who seemed to not really want to be there) was ok. the water was cold (I had to tell her it was freezing and if she could put the water hot) she didn't bother to even check the temperature of the water before telling me to put my feet in. Also, I complained of my ingrown nails on my side and they still weren't taken out properly. I came home and got it out myself and ruined my nail. I gave her a nice tip out of sympathy but I don't plan to return there again. Prices are decent but you get what you pay for. After my "pedicure" my feet felt no different and I still found dead skin and toughness. Won't recommend this place. Sorry! Read Less

Went here because my friend just moved to the area and we were looking to try a new nail salon. We got there and were hardly greeted. We had to initiate the conversation for a mani pedi ($22 for both). We waited 20 mins then they took us separately (minus a star because I like when they do the pair of people's services at the same time) a man tried to cut us and they didn't correct him to let him know we had been waiting so I had to say something or they would have taken him before me. Now to the nails. The equipment didn't seem clean. She just picked them up from the towel they were resting on. No sanitizer, no blue barbicide water. The woman took multiple breaks while doing both my nails and toes. When she was actually in the chair, she wasn't paying much attention as she was chatting with the other women in the shop in Spanish. She drew blood from my fingers while she was cutting my cuticles. I didn't even let her paint my nails because I was so disgusted with their service. It hurts to wash my hands due to my super low cuticles. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. Went here based on other reviews and sadly I don't share their enthusiasm. All the ladies here were all on their phones at some point - regardless of being with a client. Another rested her head on the table. While the woman who did my nails was nice, the gel polish did not adhere to my nails. Not her fault, but after being there for over an hour...I had to get back to work. The person that was helping her, was also nice...but continuously wiped her runny nose with her hand and then did not wash before touching clients. They suggested I come back tomorrow for them to fix my polish and then proceed to charge me the full price. I did not pay full price nor will I be returning. Too bad. Read Less

Great place! I walked in with a cracked nail ( note: I had a fill done at Angel Tips on Connecticut Ave in the ShopRite plaza and less than 2 days later my nail was breaking. DO NOT GO TO ANGEL TIPS) Lee nails fixed my nail within minutes for no charge! I AM SO PLEASED WITH THIS PLACE! It's small and quaint and my new go to place! Read Less
