But as I walk in the lady yells "do you have an appointment" I say "no I don't."  She says " we only take appointments".  Was pretty rude, I guess they hate walk ins. The selection of regular polish is awful. Opi or Essie-brands that always chip quickly. I had a gift certificate, the only reason I was there, and just got a basic mani pedi. My toes seem fine but 24 hours later my nails are already chipping. I've done nothing unusual. The tech also messed up or something on my thumb, and put acetone on her finger and rubbed my nail and proceeded to paint over still wet acetone. She also didn't even wrap the tips. No wonder the rating here is so low. This place needs a major upgrade in service or should close. Read Less

This is the worst pedicure I ever had!  The woman seemed angry. Angry because it was obvious I was overdue fora pedi?Angry because she was supposed to go to lunch? If you want an efficient, clean, and long lasting mani/pedi, then head to Nina Nails. I've been going to Nina Nails for years now, and I'm never disappointed. They have fantastic pedicure chairs, and the extra massage time on a pedicure is worth it. They have a variety of gel nail colors which lasts for at least 2-3 weeks (to stretch it). I love Nina's.  I have gone there ever since they opened and have always received great service.  Sure, Nina can be a little gruff sometimes, but that is just her way.  She runs a tight, clean salon with employees who, when treated with respect, can be counted on to provide great service.  I disagree with the reviews that say the workers are rude.  Focused yes, but rude, no.  I have no comment regarding getting the nail sets.  I have never had that service done.  Only mani, pedi, and leg waxing.  I recently moved out of state and I have yet to find a place that comes close to the quality of Nina's. It is hard for me to even give this nail salon one star. They deserve none. I have been a loyal customer since they opened. My mother and I would come in all the time. However, as years went by, the owner Nina became ruder and nastier. She barley greets you when you walk in. All she says is "pick color" and then points to a chair. Not only is she rude, but the quality now sucks too. I came in for a set. The lady who did my nails was very nice but I was very disappointed with my nails. They were extremely thin! Not only were they thin but half of them were square and half of them were kind of rounded. I even showed her a picture of the nail shape I wanted, it's not that hard. Also, they were all different lengths! I spoke out many times saying can you make it more like the picture. I gave up. Then she painted my nails. The paint job was the sloppiest paint job I have ever gotten at a nail salon. I left not happy.One week went by. 6 of my nails broke off! Keep in my I was sick and in bed that whole week, so I wasn't even active. I went back to ninas. I talked to her and told her that I was very unhappy and I wanted her to fix it. She didn't say sorry. She didn't say anything. She just grunted at me and pointed to a chair... The same woman fixed my nails. She did a good job. But in the middle of getting my nails done, Nina came over and tried talking to me. She told me I shouldn't be banging my nails so much!!! Trying to blame me. I didn't say anything. While I was there I thought I might as well just get a pedicure after she fixes all of my nails. The lady next to me was there way before me, and I was finished before her! The woman who did my toes rushed right through me! It's sad because Nina nails used to be an amazing place. Now everyone I talk to says they won't go because the owner is a bitch. I can not even give them one star. I received a gift certificate two years ago for my birthday and went for a pedicure and the girl was not only extremely rude, she completely cut off both of my pinky toenails! I thought perhaps I might give them another try, due to the close proximity of my home, 2 weeks ago. I thought try again maybe it was just the poor ability of one manicurist. They did not deserve the benefit of the doubt. I got up and walked out when the girl tried to use dirty instruments on me that I just saw her using on the client before me! Completely unhygienic! Atmosphere is nice. Nail tech was nice but the owner was rude when I asked if she had opi gel. They do not. Only shellac which is cheaper and doesn't look as nice. She then told me "it's bad for nails and she doesn't like it" -decided to just get a regular mani pedi, but will not come back. Had a hard time picking my polish because they were all half empty and did not look fresh. No price list on the wall...not worth $40 for a regular manicure and light pedicure. Read Less

Nina Nail is a very lovely, professional, and well-kept nail salon, with discount strip mall prices. It's amazing! Every pedicure has been amazing...They go the extra mile with treatments like real aloe (from the plant itself), vitamin E oil, hot stones, and extensive leg and foot massage. The pedicure paint-job always lasts a month for me in the summer, which is pretty incredible. Last but not least: The backrubs while you are at the drying table just keep coming! They are amazing. Any workers who don't have a client to work on come over and rub your shoulders. It's wonderful. Also, they reward repeat customers with 20% coupons, little extras for your birthday, and a "buy 10, get one free" reward card. I can't use enough superlatives for this wonderful nail spa. Read Less
