Positives:  Leaha (the owner) does a great gel nail polishing. She is attentive to detail. Negatives:  I have been going to this salon every two weeks for the past five months. It's torture because Leaha is a miserable human being. You try to talk to her and she doesn't answer you. You ask her a question and she yells at you. This five month experience has been the worst experience at a nail salon in my entire life. If she is not happy with what she is doing, she should find another career. When a person goes for a manicure, it should be a relaxing and enjoyable event. Let me tell you that it is not at the Bliss Nail and Spa. The tension and bad vibes engulf the person as soon as they arrive.  I'm 67 years old and I've spent quite a bit of money over the last five months at this salon. I was gracious and gave her a holiday gift. She is the owner and I still tip her each time I get services there. I bring my own gel nail polish and top coat. I've saved her money by using my own gel products and not using the salon's products. I never question the full amount that she charges me even though I bring my own product or remove my old gel polish at home before I get there. Never a thank you for doing that to make her job easier. I will NEVER step foot in that salon again. If she is having difficulties living life, then I encourage her to seek the help she needs or make the necessary changes in her life so that she can project positive vibes to her customers. If she can't do that, she should remove herself from working with the public. What good is a great gel nail application when the person giving it is rude and disrespectful. Read Less

Though my nails came out great, my manicure came at the price of my cuticles. A clean and relaxing atmosphere, I wasn't greeted until the employee who was outside for a smoke break came back inside and asked how he could help (5-7 minutes), otherwise I'm not sure how long i would have been standing there. Normally, I'm used to having my fingers placed in water to soften up the cuticles; not only did they forgo that step, I felt as though the tech had a vendetta against my cuticles as she rammed the tool quite roughly into the bed of my finger. So much so, that when she placed a soothing substance on my cuticles, it burned. Someone said before- flawless! I never did gel polish before and was amazed at the attention to detail here! Later went down the street to Rose and saw what an average manicure looked like. Will definitely drive the extra 10 minutes to go here next time ( and the 40 minutes from home) for the professional touch at Bliss! Read Less

The only nail place I go to and trust for always flawless nails and eyebrow waxing! The prices are equally competitive and the customer service is outstanding. I can't forget to mention the complimentary shoulder and neck massages you receive just for walking in the door! This place is my favorite, and super convenient being right next door to my workplace! I have been going to this nailbar since 2012 and never once have I been disappointed with the quality of their work. It's the best nail place in London and the prices are decent. Used to come here all the time- they used to be great. Then they had my sister and I waiting for 35 minutes in empty pedicure tubs (WITH APPOINTMENTS!) while they catered to a group of children (who were walk-ins with their parents) screaming and running a muck through out the salon. Also, they advertise for 20% off on certain days, and they didn't honor that on the day we went because there were two services. Not one. Even though we paid separately. So unprofessional. Don't even bother making an appointment here they won't have time for you anyway. Made an appointment and they asked me to come back the next day and then when I showed up for that appointment they asked me to come back the next day after. Not worth it for the way that you are treated when you come in here very rude and very cold. This was my first visit (10/15/2015).  The staff was friendly and personable.  The gel manicure was incredible - service was second-to-none.  They are perfectionists and really do a great job.  It is now 2 weeks later - my nails have grown so much and literally the ONLY thing wrong with them is the growth!!  The gel/polish/color is flawless.  Can't wait to go back! I typically give myself manicures because I often leave with the feeling that I could have done just as good if not better. This was not the case w/ Bliss Nails & Spa. I came in on a Monday (10% off Mon-Thurs for services over $20) and received the best regular manicure ($12) from Sara that I ever had. She was very detailed and my nails look incredible. The facility has a special air filtration system and it was very clean inside. Min purchase to use a credit card of $20. Leah and Tony are the NICEST people you'll ever meet.  They run a very professional, yet comfortable and casual business.  They make a point of learning your name and remember what you like.  They have great specials Mon - Thurs which are awesome if you have some time off of work.  They will do their best to make you happy and though the prices are a bit more expensive than what you'd find in a mall, they are more than worth the extra cash.  I work with my hands and I've never had shellac manicure last for more than 2 weeks anywhere else, but because of the time and effort they put into my nails, I can stretch it out for 3 sometimes!  I have to move away and I'm heartbroken, I know I won't find a place like Bliss anywhere else. Went 1/12/15 with my friend whose mother and her go here all the time. Had an absolute blast! Because we came on a weekday we got 20% off services so our gel manicures were only $24 plus tip. The additional massage was great and love that they don't talk behind your back in different languages like some other salons are guilty of. Will definitely be going back! Read Less

When I walked in with my mother (a bi-monthly customer) and they called me the Princess, I knew I liked this place! I had a manicure with gel polish and the basic pedicure. Nothing basic about either service. Top quality work and plenty of perks. Complimentary massages while nails are drying or soaking. Warm blankets to enrich the spa atmosphere and hot towels used many times in the services. I mentioned I had a picture of a design I wanted and Tony excitedly grabbed his polish. After chatting we learned of his many awards for his design work. He didn't let me down at all! The salon is clean and neat. Comfy chairs for waiting and due to the season, classic holiday decor. Every employee was friendly and went above and beyond. Multicultural and multilingual staff are a nice plus. I wish I could take the whole salon back to Dallas with me! Read Less

I feel like I should start this by saying that I have never written a review before but Bliss Nails is just too fantastic not to. A girlfriend and I wanted to get our nails done so we looked for a place that was equal distance for us and found Bliss on the Berlin Turnpike. I called and was able to make an appointment the day before for 2 manis and pedis.I was worried that no one would be able to fix my nails after a bad Acrylic set had destroyed them. The owners, Tony and Lia, welcomed us in and told me not to worry. Tony took his time to build me a beautiful set of new Gel nails that lasted quite a long time. Though I recommend going every 2 weeks for a fill, I can usually get away with around 3 weeks. Everyone in the salon is super friendly and polite. They do take walk-ins but I definitely recommend making an appointment so you aren't waiting long. The pricing is reasonable and I haven't seen a better price around - gel fill will run about $30 but like I said their fills can last up to 3 weeks pretty well.Every customer is also treated to a wonderful and long chair message as your getting your nails done. And sometimes, especially during the winter, they have heated shoulder pads they put on you while you relax.The place is always extremely clean and well taken care of. They are open on Sundays unlike most salons and are only closed on Tuesdays. And they are usually open 9a-7p. They have a great selection of colors for both regular and gel. Bliss is about a 20 minute drive for me so when I first went there, it was only to spend time with one of my girlfriends because it was easy for both of us. But after seeing the wonderful job they did I have become a regular customer. The biggest disappointment for me has been that they are closed on Tuesdays which is the one day I can get my nails done now due to work. I've been going to this nail salon for over the last two years. The service has always been great up to last couple months. The lady that usually takes care of me is no longer there. So I go and I have a new person the service wasn't that great so I let it side . I go back another time just to get a polish change which should have cost me $20 cause of gel color they charged me $30 which is the manicure price. And I got my eyebrows done and the girl that did them took one of my eyebrows off. I was absolutely disgusted I'm what they charge me and why they still charge me for the horrible service after being a customer for so long. I refuse to ever go back after that. My mother and I live 80 miles apart, so decided to meet in the middle for a nice day out. We chose to begin out day at Bliss. They have a very pretty decor on in the inside. I couldn't find it at first, but it's right after the Kidco Child Care. I had Jocelyn give me a spa pedicure ($50). She worked so diligently and hard, and gave an amazing massage. My mother had the owner and a trainee work on her for a regular pedicure ($30), she wasn't as please with the female owner (the only one not in uniform) was very rude, and tried to upsell the callus treatment (for an extra $10). What really upset us both that she didn't ask my mother if she wanted it done, she asked me, like my mother can't make her own decisions. Color selection is ok, not a huge variety, and no fun summer colors, which I wanted. Good thing I brought my own in case I didn't find something I liked. If I was rating on my experience alone with Jocelyn, I would rate 5 stars. However my mother had a horrible experience, and on behalf I would rate a 1 star. Jocelyn mentioned she learned everything she knew from Mary, another hardworking employee, she suggested to call and make an appointment with either of them to ensure good service. Following the pedicure, at the drying station, you receive a shoulder massage, what a nice treat. My poor mother of course did not get hers. IF we ever go back, I'll make sure my mother get Jocelyn, and I'll get Mary. Don't bother to have the others work on you, I felt so bad for their other clientele. I actually watched one employee snatch the pedicure service menu from a women whom was still reading it, she had to ask for it back. We are going to get pampered not be treated terrible!!! Went to Bliss Nails & Spa for the first time today and just had to share my experience. I've easily paid twice as much for a pedicure at other spas and this is the best pedicure I've ever had, by far! My manicure was perfect as well.
