I'm so disappointed because I really wanted to like this place as I find the interior clean, relaxing, and reminiscent of a spa.  I came here once and got a SNS pedicure. It was cute but twice as expensive as my normal salon in Norwalk, and how they initially explained the break down to me was confusing as I thought she was saying 25 for regular pedicure and 40 for SNS pedicure. What she meant was 25 PLUS 40! So I decided to go back and just get a regular pedicure.  So they removed the SNS nails not to standard. I've been doing SNS for a year - protocol is you soak in remover and after 5-10 minutes they naturally roll off with some help from a cotton ball.  This was unbeknownst to them as the lady spent 25 minutes soaking, grinding, and even taking a metro card (so unsanitary) to force the separation by sticking it between my nail and the SNS pedicure.  She filed my skin and cut me with the cuticle trimmer several times.  The color was pretty, the salon has a spa feel, but I will not be coming back. Love this place. I've never had a wait, they have a huge selection of colors regular and gel. It's very clean and I've been helped by different people each time and it's always the same service. The person doing my nails seemed to have little training as he watched and followed along with what another technician was doing. He also filed my cuticles rather than cut them which was and still is painful! My and my friend's nail technician were switched with new people right in the middle of our manicures. People were sharing instruments and polish back and forth, not very sanitary. Read Less

Had gel nails done with James. It looks very natural and smooth. The only thing is I felt it was a bit pricey, took longer than I would have liked and he is not that personable but I didn't feel like talking anyway.The best thing was the free neck message, don't pass on that! Read Less

I went in today for a pedicure and my mother had a gel manicure.  We were greeted warmly. The salon was very nice, modern and most importantly clean!  Plastic liners used in foot soaking tub.  George did a great job on my pedicure.  My mother was very happy with her gel manicure.   When done with our nails both my mother and I got a shoulder massage.  Little things like that can make such a difference in a salon experience.  Prices were reasonable.  I would definitely go back there again. Nice atmosphere, very clean. The vitamin C pedicure was relaxing and the massage was the best part. I would have given 5 stars but my last visit was only for a regular manicure and I didn't get a massage while nails were drying - was really looking forward to one. I will return again though. I am very picky about nail salons. I just got back from my 2nd time going here and would definitely recommend it. Today I got the lemon spa pedicure with callus remover and am pleased. The first time I got a regular pedicure. They are friendly and the salon is big. They also offered a drink and snacks. Pricing is right on par. I would check it out! Read Less

After my grueling experience yesterday at coco nails (also in Monroe) I had to get my nails finished. I chose Polished Salon which was formerly in the location of Mani Pedi, great salon. Fully renovated, awesome staff, and no wait. The staff hands out snacks, ice tea, and candy. My manicure and gel removal was inexpensive and I will definitely be back. Read Less

I enjoy getting my nails done regularly and I've since moved away from Monroe although my parents still live here. Every time I come visit, I make an appointment at Mani & Pedi because they honestly do such a fantastic job for the money! I can get a French Polish Manicure and French Polish Pedicure for $40 total (not including tip) and it's one of the best manicures I've ever received. Their pedicures are also fantastic, using massage, exfoliation and hot stones. The pedicure massage chairs are some of the most high tech I've been in. My favorite part of the whole experience are the girls who walk around giving free shoulder/back massages while you get your manicure or wait for your nails to try! Everyone here is super nice and I really thoroughly enjoy myself every time :) I've even booked two appointments for my best friend's wedding :) My treat!
