Why this spa doesn't have higher reviews ja beyond me, absolutely amazing service. Had the SNS manicure, they have over 200 color options while most other nail spas near by have maybe 30 if you're lucky. Also had their traditional pedicure, both the manicure and pedicure with a long massage and a shoulder rub. Alice and Owen are both phenomenal.  Jason got me a bonus card for future visits. First time here. There wasn't anyone at the counter but one of the women pointed to the nail polish on the wall. I selected one and waited just a few minutes. I handed the nail polish to the young women and she said , "oh we charge five dollars more for this polish because it lasts longer". Huh???I asked her not to cut the nails very short. She did. It seemed like she knew what she was doing but I really wasn't able to get a good look while she was working. She did a superficial job on my heels and my big toe isn't evenly covered with polish. She put the polish on too thin and some of the toes have lumps in the middle. No idea what those are. Wasn't able to see anyone else so I don't know if the others are better. $25 for a simple pedicure. I would suggest you find another salon. Read Less

I have been to many nail salons but this is my favorite!  Everyone is friendly, the salon is clean and they offer SNS nails. I am a very picky customer when it comes to my nails ( somewhat of a perfectionist) and they never disappoint. Went in Summer 2016- Did not give me right change back and when I inquired about it they yelled at me. Used a dirty buffer on my nails and left me sitting under the dryer for 40 minutes without telling me how long it would take for them to dry (it was my first time getting my nails done). I was pressured to tip as well when I was already going to. Overall, terrible customer service and will never come back. It's mediocre services for high prices. The massage part of the manicure and pedicure combined was about 60 seconds and it hurt. Three of my nails had chips before leaving and they would only fix one which I had to walk over and remove the polish for them to fix. I went in to get a fill and 2 nails replaced and I was charged 76 which is funny cuz I was in before and charged same amount for a full set and pedi. Anyways, when I got to my car I realized that they did not even fully fill my nails. I went back in to talk with someone and it took 35 min to get to talk with them. They told me "it's ur polish" ummmm no it's not I been getting my nails done for years and I've had this color sparkle before! But they ended up just painting them again. I was given four $10 gift certificates for Christmas. I went yesterday April 11th for the first time. When it came time to pay I took out the gift certificates and the man that did my nails took only one (I was giving him two). He came back from the front desk with a bill. $26 and change less $10 for one gift certificate. He brushed me off when I wanted to use two (I thought 20 would cover it). As my nails dried I thought about it and when I was leaving I stopped at the front desk and asked the woman why I could only use one. She went on about how these are not gift certificates but "give always" and not good. Even after I pointed out the gift certificates say gift certificates AND had Clover nails and spa printed. Also they were the same that were on her desk. So when I asked if these are good, she said no. I will NEVER return to this place. I will tell anyone I know that has nails done to never visit this establishment. I usually pay $16.00 for a fill so I know this place is WAY over priced. Stay away!Read Less

Overpriced for mediocre service and results. They nickle and dime you for everything. Pedicure was basically a polish change after a two minute soak. The polish application was too thick and of course got ruined after having at least 45 min to dry. On to the sns.. $45 and not happy at all with the eay my nails look. This has been my new spa home since summer 2016. Always clean, friendly, tranquil and they give me hot tea or cold water (my choice) without asking. I don't know what experience others have had, but I go every month and they don't pressure, ask, or squint for a tip. If paying by credit card, they ask "how much tip"... to apply to the credit card, but what's the problem if you liked the service? I believe the command of English is limited for some of them, so it may have been misinterpreted. This is a fabulous place and they're always introducing new, improved products. They do a great job and have the SNS that I like. I'm new to the area and This was my second time here bc I like their work. But when I went to pay I had no cash for a tip bc I didn't know at the time I couldn't leave one on my card and she basically said it get out of their ATM like she automatically assume I HAD tip her. I tip with no problem but when your charging tax on my nail service (is this normal in CT) plus a fee to use the ATM and I still tip I feel that I'm being taken advantage of. How much does this salon pay their workers because I felt pressured to give a tip. Not that the service was bad, I would have given a tip anyway like I usually do, but the woman swiping my card had the nerve to ask me for a tip and then argue with me when I said no tip. It made me not want to leave a tip even more. A tip is a choice not a requirement and a customer should not be shamed for giving or not giving or for how much they give. This isn't a restaurant. Nope. No. I was very disappointed with my French manicure. I am from out of town and I really wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a beautiful pair of nails when I returned home. The people there are very nice, don't get me wrong. But, the service was not good.I was surprised by the amount of acrylic that was being put on my nails and thought to myself "that is going to take a really long time to sand down to a normal size".I left very unhappy. Very clean and sophisticated salon. Staff were all friendly. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was slammed! I only had to wait about 5 minutes but customers were walking in after me about every 10-15 minutes. The area is very busy, so this is the only downfall. I was lucky to be able to find a parking spot! Luckily, I'm not from the area and this was just an emergency since my manicurist in Greenwich is on vacation. Very clean place they have disposable files and buffers. I am not sure how they sanitize the clippers though. I saw my technician just taking it out of a drawer but I asked her to clean it. My nail technician was Very nice and polite. However, I didn't think she did a great job with my cuticles and I have some pieces that seemed like she just chopped off. She diidn't buff my nail nicely. Also, I had to tell her multiple times to remove the clear topcoat I was wearing because she hadn't remove it completely. I have going to Clover since relocating to CT in August of last year and I can't say enough about how great my nails look each and every time I get them done.  I get regular manicures with the weekly polish and they easily last 5-7 days without chipping.  I have tried another local salon a couple of times with the same polish and my nails would chip within 2-3 days every time.  Even though Clover is a little bit more of a drive, I'll likely not go anywhere else again.The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because some of the manicurists are better than others... Very very clean and chic salon! They have plenty of workers and chairs, but do be nice and make a reservation. Also, they have a huge nail color selection, plenty of Essie and Opi colors. I brought my own polish in, Essie minimalistic. My nail lady was Vicky, very nice. She cleaned up my nails really well and wasn't SUPER chatty, but wasn't SUPER standoffish either. I liked it :) the price for a manicure is $10, which is very fair for the service. I just took off a star because I almost would rather pay $12/15 for a good painting job. My nails have huge streaks and I asked her to paint enough coats so it covers the nail completely and you can't see my bare nails through it. But you still can... I have been going to Amy's for over 5 years and I wont go anywhere else. The nails are great quality and they have a great selection of colors. I find that the service is friendly and they quickly recognize regular customers. They do good promotions such as student discount or a 15% off loyalty card. So rude, kept shaking his head while doing my nails and tutting saying they were done terribly before and making excuses as to why they weren't good, then filed them down wrong and made them look stumpy. Shook his head at the colour I chose and then threw it in the bin before my nails had dried - so if I smudged one he wouldn't have been able to redo it. I just moved in Milford 3 month ago , I am trying to find a good nail salon here,I have been to a lot of nail salons. But I am going to say the CLOVER NAIL SPA is the best salon in the town. They have very friendly workers here .especially a girl named COCO. She always gives me perfect SPA pedicure.relaxing and enjoyable.Besides everyone here is friendly too. GORGEOUS nail salon. So new. So pretty.Walked in to check the place out and I was so surprised at the size of the location. Definitely did not seem that big from the outside. I asked the manager how much they charged for shellac/gel manicures and he said $35, not bad at all. It looked busy and I asked him if it would be possible to fit me in and he said absolutely and directed me over to the color bar to select my color. He had someone for me in less than 5 minutes. Once I sat down I was offered water or tea. They were so attentive. While I got my nails soaked to remove my old shellac I asked if they did waxing and they took me back to their rooms. They had a beautiful fish tank and chandelier towards the back. I can't stress enough how clean this place is. After my waxing we went back to the front to do my nails. The girl that was taking care of me, Eve, noticed that my skin was very irritated and red from the wax and she had someone come over with some aloe to help with the redness. She had my nails done in no time and they came out perfect. I asked if they take reservations (and they do) because I would love to have Eve do my nails again. When checking out the manager asked me if this had been my first time and he gave me a point card for their salon. I've NEVER been to a nail salon with a loyalty card before.
