Waited an hour before finally leaving. No apology, no acknowledgement while waiting. The lady who arrived after me was addressed before me when I had already been waiting for 30 minutes at that point. She even went as far as to educate me why she was doing one thing vs. another so I would understand and know what works better and lasts longer for me once I come back for a fill. If you value your time, and make the extra effort to make an appointment, DO NOT GO HERE! They only care about the bottom line, $$$$. They do not care about customer service or respecting the client. The first time I went I scheduled an appointment. Mind you I have a 2 year old so I know 45 min is my limit when I have to bring her. I go there and I'm sitting and waiting for 40 minutes, I was told initially 10 minute wait even though I had an appt. I waited and got them done, Vo said please let me know what you like and don't like. I told Vo I just really can't wait that long when I have an appointment. No apologies, no thank you for waiting. Just business. I naively decided to give them a second chance. This time I made an appt and got out of work early in order to go wo child, before hubby had to leave for work. I get there 10 min early not expecting to be taken early. I see that the person taking care of me has just started to do a pedicure. Vo comes to me looking annoyed that I'm there early and states ok a couple of minutes. I give her 15 minutes past my set appointment and she's still scrubbing the other clients feet, not even on paint yet. So I tell her, I am going to pick up my daughter which is literally 2 min away in a car and back. I do so, and she's working on the womens hand hold now, And then took a walk in. She doesn't look up to acknowledge me for a good 5 min. I then ask her nicely, how long will I be waiting-again walks over to the book annoyed and states 1/2 more. We all know the half hour is more like an hour. I told her thank you but I have to leave, not to make appointments if they can't be kept. She was extremely rude, unapologetic and completely lacking in customer service or any decency at all. Didn't say a word as the whole place is clearly blabbering about me. I got tired of going to other nail salons in CT cause everyone would be so rude, so I stared trying out new places. I went to studio nails for the first time close to two years ago now and everyone was so nice, they greeted me and seemed like they wanted to be there. PREFACE: I used to LOVE them.  They do a nice job.  HOWEVER, they continually over-book, and so even if you call to make an appointment they'll have you sitting there while they service walk-ins. Today was the second time I walked out after 25 minutes of waiting, WITH an appointment.  Life is too short and there are far too many nail salons in Manchester for me to give them another try. I went there with a friend who wanted a fill. A woman sitting down asked if we needed help. All technicians appeared to be busy. I stated that my friend wanted a fill. There was no response after my statement. We stood there for about a minute waiting and then asked if they were busy. A technician stated very rudely yes almost shouting. DO NOT GO HERE....HORRIBLE SERVICE. I loved this place at 1st. They always did an amazing job. However their work got more sloppy each time. Last time I went they were a little busy, the woman rushed through pedicure & nails & she totally messed up my eyebrows. Every time I go and ask for a flower design on my nails the woman complains and tells me she only has time to do a design with lines....then does the same design each time.  They over book with not enuff staff, rush & do a crappy job.  Also the woman cut/burnt the side of almost every cuticle with her filing tool & she had the nerve to get annoyed when I told her she was hurting me & asked her to be more careful....i used to always refer everyone to this nail salon now the are just horrible. DO NOT GO HERE.. I have been going here for years and never knew why I was always getting ingrown toenails, until a couple weeks ago when I ended up in the emergency room from an infection in my toe and had to get half of it removed. They do not know the proper way of cutting your nails so I always had a reoccurring problem, and on my last encounter left a piece of nail hanging inside the skin which caused and infection, along with the fact that they don't use sterilized tools. Pretty much whatever is laying around they will pick up and use. It's terrible, and to add insult to injury when I went back and asked for a reciept ( bc they almost never give them) they refused. I have spent hundreds if not thousands here over the years and was out of work for over a week bc of this, still don't have my nails back yet since the surgery. I love this place. I've been hopping around different nail salons for years trying to find a place that would give me nails that wouldn't completely lift within two weeks. I even learned how to do it myself but I still had the same problem. I've got stubborn, oily nail beds I guess. anyways, Vo is literally the only person on the planet who can do my nails so that they don't lift. So I won't be going to anyone else! Too bad I can't give less than one star. Have been going here over a year and took a two month break to give my nails a break, went back for a gel set, was given acrylic, they insisted it was "new powder gel"... And was charged 40$. Acrylic is 20 gel is 35. Wtf did I pay for!! They did a shit job too and cut three of my fingers, and on the hand! She kept using the tool while answering her phone and hit my hand. Are you kidding? Around the nail is one thing but this is unacceptable. Also while I was getting my nails done I saw three people sit in the same pedicure chair without it getting sprayed, washed down, or any tools sanitized. Gross!!!! Don't go here Read Less
