0!!!!! I got a full set and pedi. The person who did my pedi literally brushed my heels with the pumice stone 3 times each heel and went straight to rinse and polish! I'm on my feet all day so I certainly didn't wanna waste money on something I could do at home. I wanted something enjoyable and relaxing. Actually worth the time and money. To top it off my polish was clumpy and all over the place. $30 for this mess?! I made them fix it immediately and still disappointed I paid for this mess. My nails weren't bad. I must say the staff is very pushy and rude. They rushed through every person who walked in just to get to their bank cards. Never again! Though the staff were very friendly and they took me in right away, I got a gel manicure that started chipping and peeling off on its own after just two days. I felt like the woman who did my manicure rushed through it (I have never had a gel manicure take that little time) which caused it to peel so quickly. Really disappointed. Read Less

A verg nice shop, I was skeptical about it. I got a full set of acrylics amd my mom got a pedicure. Her pedicure was fast and well taken care of. My technician was very nice and did exactly what I asked for. Always checking that he was doing the right thing and if I wanted water. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Service was rushed and my nails looked a week old when I was done. A guy friend of mine went in and asked them to redo the job they did because he said they looked horrible. When I asked the lady to fill them in more while I was in the seat getting them done the 1st time, she said, "They are supposed to look like that, and you don't want the acrylic going back on your nails too far." When they "fixed" the solution, another worker just filed my nails down and polished them again. It was always a pleasure to come to this place when I got my nails done.....overly expensive.....more than what I was use to coming from NY. But this was where I came to get my nails done. Recently I got my nails damage and to get them back I had to stop doing my nails as often. That being said the owner start treating me very poorly. When I would come to get my eyebrows done or when my young daughters came in for service. After giving my nails some time to heal I now do my nails on special occasions only. Today it's prom season and he strieght up told my daughter to back tomorrow.....we had a whole hour before close for a regular manicure. .....this was the second time he did this So I said poor business practice. If I can give no stars honestly I would ... I try all different nail places in Hamden area .. And this is the worst one I've been to and I'm not very picky .. Back in December , I went to this nail salon to get my birthday nails done I asked for coffin so she proceeded to do them. 1. They were all un even and different shapes 2.they were all lumpy and not properly put on (different sizes) 3. The paint job was terrible . Oh wait , I'm not done yet .. I dried my nails .. And left the salon paying ($40) for acrylic (regular polish) .I got in to the car without barely touching anything my nail fell of !! I come here mostly for pedicures. They always do a good job scrubbing your feet (I tend to walk around barefoot all the time, so I need pedicures often) and shaping your nails. Staff is friendly and they work quickly. It's usually very busy during the weekends,  so I would recommend coming during the week. They also have very decent prices ($25 for a pedi). Read Less

They are the biggest rip offs!! I have been to many nail salons in the area for a gel manicure.  All of these places charge $25 for a full manicure and gel polish.  This place it is $35 for a full manicure and gel polish and for $25 all they did was polish my nails.  When I questioned them about this, they could not respond to me because they know they are ripping me off.  I will NEVER go to this place again. Great prices. The girls are good and place is clean. Don't let the guy touch your toes! He totally cut my toe nails very awkward and too much and too deep! I was quite mad. I'm very particular. But I had shellac by Lee and she did a great job. I only suggest that they practice  frequent hand washing after client contact. Didn't see any hand washing by employees at all. Colors are great too. Great value for the money ($40 for mani/pedi/eyebrow wax). Surprisingly, this place is decent looking on the inside, considering how cheap they are.I've heard that the guy (owner?) is a bit overzealous, so avoid him and get work done by the ladies. Read Less

this place was great. I came in for a pedicure, the wait was about 5 minute. Its very clean, great service. I got the super spa pedi, 35- with nail design 40. It comes w a citrus sugar scrub, followed by a mint-clay-mud mask for your legs- then some really nice tingly lotion. the foot massage was wonderful, Ill be going there again. I went here for a pedicure when I moved to Hamden and didn't really know better.  I'd say this was about 8-9 months ago.Either the pedicure technician was totally sidetracked or she was clueless.  She used a pumice stone on the wrong parts of my foot. (Think like having a brillo pad rubbed on the top of your hand, compare it to that)This resulted in scabs and ripped skin on the bottom of my foot.  You know, the annoyance of having that skin caught in the carpet while walking through my apartment a few days later.  Not pleasant.  I'll never go back.
