No one spoke as we entered the establishment. Not friendly. No clean towels I had a paper towel at my chair to dry my feet, and mean "a paper towel". Not a good selection of polish. I saw hair in the womans foot bowl surrounding the drain in the next chair. My feet are not the cutest but I've definitely seen worse in a nail shop. The woman acted like she didn't want to touch my feet. My service was the worse. I don't think that establishment is used to seeing dark skin Black women. Everyone else was coddled and treated carefully except me. I asked clear questions that went unanswered and had to be addressed later because unlike the young woman next to me, I wanted something specific. I didn't let her do whatever she wanted. I definitely noticed it was an issue because I didn't accept her freestyle. Not when I'm paying. Pretty decent place! Love the trendy decor and the huge selection of Opi colors. It's on the small side, so most likely you'll be waiting if you're a walk in. You'll get a hand and shoulder massage with hot towels, hot stones, and warmed lotion with a manicure. The lady that runs the place is super sassy (in a good way). The only downside is parking. This has been my spot for manicures, pedicures and eyebrow waxing for several years. I used to go to another salon but it became too pricey. At Color the cost is reasonable (only $10 for a regular manicure) and they do a pretty good job. On the rare occassion that I have not been fully satisfied they are understanding and willing to correct at no cost. I love that they are open seven days a week and accept walk-ins or take appointments. They have even stayed open late to finish the services I request or have had more than one person attend to me (manicure and pedicure) if I'm crunched on time. Read Less

i've been to this place a bunch of times, and while on the sliiiightly pricier side, they do manicures, pedicures, and waxing just finehowever today i went for a color gel (opi axxium) manicure and had a pretty crappy experience. the guy clearly had no clue what the heck he was doing. my nails are kinda jagged, the paint job is shotty/faded looking on a few nails and he had the nerve to take a cigarette break in the middle of this botched job. also, he charged me to take off the previous color gel manicure, which no other salon has done. bottom line: don't go here for a color gel manicure, they haven't figured it out just yet. The male that did my nails was horrible at his job. He was extremely too fast and I had to tell him to fix my nails about five times because the polish was on the side of my nails. My nails were not filed correctly and this process, which is expected to be relaxing was far from it. The manicurist did not have any personality nor did any of the other technicians. My experience at Color nails was a complete disappointment and I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE WHO WANTS A GOOD EXPERIENCE!! Read Less
