Cindy and Tim are Awesome! Be prepared to laugh, as Tim is always telling jokes, which is a much welcomed change up compared to other nail salons I have been to all over the country. I have been going to them WHEN I am living in Connecticut since 2003 (as I was military & have lived in VA, IN, & IL since then). This location is farther than many other places for me, but they are so worth the drive! This establishment is clean and some of the employees are somewhat friendly, if you're a regular. I am NOT impressed with the way my pedicure came out. It felt rushed and mind you, it was NOT a busy day at ALL!!! I did not like the way the nail polish bubbled and all in all it was a sloppy job! I expressed my dislike and the employee was going to try to fix it by trying to another application of nail polish which would have made it even worse. If I didn't have a period engagement, I would have stayed and let them fix it, but I couldn't. No discount was offered nor taken off. Bad business if you ask me. Read Less

Had an appt set, waited an hour after my appt. on top of it the man told me to pick colors I wanted. As soon as he made time for me he said he didn't have those exact colors I wanted and picked colors that weren't even close to what I wanted. He was so rough with the tools he made my skin bleed. I showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted done and He wasn't anywhere close to it & didn't even do the design instead was rude to my sister and me screaming saying I said I didn't want the design when I did. My husband and I went in for mani/pedis. Awesome service! Did a great job on my nails and toes at the time. I then woke up this morning with two chipped nails. I'm a mom to a one year old so I know that my nails will chip faster than most but I would expect it to last longer than one day. I probably won't return. Read Less

I was so impressed with the service I received from this salon! Came in with a set of pink and whites that were HORRIBLY done from a previous place and the staff here removed them and did the job right! My nails look natural, not globby or overdone. I went to LA Nails in Groton, CT last week because I needed a place nearby where I was getting an oil change. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE it was to go to LA Nails. EVERYONE working there WAS SICK! I should have followed my gut and turned around and left. Sure enough 4 days later I got the same sickness they had. The owner had his teenage son there who was also sick. Really love the outcome of my gel manicure! However, I know that a couple of workers are on a vacation but it should not have taken 2 1/2 hours to get me done. Literally. Staff was funny and friendly, except for this older woman that sat there watching TV while I sat for 30 min just to get one more coat on my nails. She also left for about 20 minutes into the back room or wherever. In my opinion don't even seat me at a spot with fingers soaking if you are going to go on a lunch break or whatever she was doing...the water was cold and I had my hands out of it for a good 15 min before another nice girl took over. It was quite busy don't get me wrong but I watched 2 other people come in and get started while I sat there still waiting....I love the way my nails came out however I think I'll try somewhere else next time. My 20 min. Gel manicure should never have taken 2 1/2 hours. Ridiculous! Read Less

Just moved to the area and in need of a gel fill. They look at my hands say okay one lady starts then another guy comes then another. Strike one, the only person that spoke English in there was fighting with me about what kind of gel I had. I explained to him that on the west coast its three types gel what he had which is weaker, regular acrylic, and a gel acrylic mix. He tells me basically I'm an idiot and I have no idea what I have on my nails. I could have slapped that boy so not in the mood just drove 3000 miles all I wanted was to sit and be pampered instead he gave me a headache. Read Less

Great relaxed environment to get a manicure or pedicure. Staff is friendly and the prices is are really reasonable. In my opinion there is only one odd thing about the place and that is that don't have a separate place when doing facial waxing (i.e. eye brows). I'm personally used to a separate room or sectioned off space for it, but there its in the wide open at the back near the employee office/storage room. Not really inviting to me to get my eye brows done. Depsite that weirdness... its a fabulous place. Read Less
