I have been going to Coco forever, no more after yesterday.    I went for a facial and had cream rubbed on my face for 45 minutes, I had to tell her not to touch my eyes, no steam, no evaluation, why?   Because I requested a "regular" facial, not the overpriced ones!    So i got nothing!   new owners who are open till 10 p.m., who cares?    Do a good job and your business will thrive and people will continue to come back.    No me, too may other good places in two to give them my money. I got my nails done (French, gel manicure). The nails came out ok. I can tolerate them for the next 2 weeks. I am struggling to understand why manicurists still struggle with the basics requirements of nail jobs (such as painting the nail within the area of nail and not cuticles, not applying 5 layers of gel and making your nails look ridiculous, and covering the entire area of the nail starting at the cuticle). My nails have a weird shape to them. There was nail polish on my cuticle, which I just noticed this morning. The nail polish starts 2 mm below my cuticle, leaving an ugly gap, as if I had my nails done weeks ago. Seriously, why is this still a thing? I get my nails done very rarely and my visit reminded me as to why that is the case. There is no sense in paying $45 for a nail job that isn't excellent. Like with any job, either do it well, or don't do it at all. The service was warm, though a bit salesy. I'm not sure if staff is just paranoid about pleasing people, but I got a sense that the atmosphere was a bit artificial. The nail tech persisted encouraging me to take advantage of other services provided within the salon (eye lash extensions, facials etc). I am confident looking the way I do. A strangers recommendation for why false lashes would make me look pretty is genuinely completely irrelevant to me, and likely many people who just come in to get their nails done, or maybe not and I'm just missing something. The owner (I believe this was the owner) was very friendly, but I could sense she was saying everything in her tool box to please me as a customer. Sometimes being genuine goes so much further than complementing me on slightly irrelevant things like how beautiful I am. It's very nice to hear a compliment, but again, irrelevant and a classic behavior in the "sales" book. Coupling that with a list of reasons why other services would be greatly beneficial to me lead me to believe that I will not be returning, and searching for a salon with a more intimate, genuine atmosphere . do NOT get waxed here!!!!!At least not a bikini or a brazilian!I got a brazilian wax here about a week and not only did they leave many many hairs they didn't even do the full brazilian (I mean the back and everything they just completely ignored it). I also have a bruise - that's right an actual bruise on my bikini line from the aggressive waxing that did NOT even take off all my hairs.The lady that waxed me also told me that the people in her country aren't hairy which made me uncomfortable as she was commenting on how hairy I was. Come here for a manicure or a pedicure but DO NOT GET WAXED HERE.They also charged me 65 which turned out to actually be 75 when I added tip. Wow this place is amazing!! I've never had such an amazing and relaxing pedicure before in my life! I had gotten the guava pedicure from Edi. She was awesome! She took her time and I didn't feel rushed at all. The pedicure was so relaxing and over an hour long! I didn't wanna get up! She also did my gel manicure! I totally recommend her and this salon. Stopped in because I was in the 'strip mall' and desperately needed a new Shellac mani - not only was it quick and clean (I have zero patience) but the facial/waxing rooms are wonderful and surprising given that this place is in a 'strip mall'. Breaking stereotypes all around! Katie was great and efficient and my nails haven't looked this good since I lived in Chicago.  I felt awful for cheating on my regular spot but then I remembered all the time I saved and some of the guilt went away. As much as I liked going to Coco for years, no more! They're showing FOX News on every tv now!  Boycott Coco women! A station owned by misogynists should not be on in a nail salon. I just got a mani and pedi here. My toenails were cut unevenly, and my nail polish is already chipping at the cuticles. I felt like I was being ignored the entire time I was here. I wouldn't recommend this place and I'll never go back. Read Less

Never going back again. For how expensive it is, I was disappointed with the quality of the service. This is what I observed while I was there: if you look like you have a lot of money (e.g. wearing upscale clothes, carrying a designer handbag, etc), *only then* will you get friendly service. If not, forget about it - you are just a regular old customer. I was very aware of this based on how different people were treated by the employees. I would not go back nor recommend it to anyone. There are better places in town that have a much nicer staff and where you feel like you are receiving the "VIP treatment," regardless of your appearance. Also, the manicure was not even that good. Coco has really stepped up their game. They bought RadioShack next door and are expanding  their space, which is beautiful. Every time I go I ask for Joy. She is an amazingly beautiful and talented person. I usually get a pedicure and gel manicure and lately I have been getting designs. I am at Coco nails every two weeks for UV gel, waxings and pedicures and I am 100% satisfied with the job done, the experience and customer service.  I have gotten facials as well and also have been happy with the results.  The products used are "quality," up to date with what's on the market and long lasting.  I have uncovered from other salons in the past how they water down their products or use cheap brands so This is a extremely important to me. The prices are fair for the services rendered (take advantage of one of their special pedicures and receive a 10 min back massage at no additional charge. )As long as I live in the old Greenwich area I will be a customer at CoCo nails!!
