This is the absolute best hair salon. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Becker spoke with me for a while before my first haircut, and it was so obvious he cared very much about what specifically I wanted. He is the best ever!! This morning was my first time going to Becker and it will definitely not be my last. The salon is beautiful and the staff is so welcoming and friendly, I was immediately comfortable there. I hadn't had a haircut in about a year and I had pretty vague requests (just a couple inches, still have to be able to put it up). I have blonde hair that shows any little mistake so I don't let just anyone cut it. I received an amazing wash and deep condition from Sierra and my haircut from Becker exceeded my expectations. Went to Becker for the first time to cut my hair from shoulder length to a pixie cut. It was the best choice I could've made. I came to Becker to get a gel manicure after work after seeing great reviews. Since it was my first visit the staff gave me a little tour of the salon and everything was clean, well maintained and modernly decorated. Loved how light and bright the space is and enjoyed the art! Rosa got me right in and did a fabulous job on my nails. She removed my previous gel in one perfect swoop using little foils and remover for each finger - no damaging scraping. The color selection was great - wide range of options. Rosa was very personable to talk to - seems she has many regular customers and I can understand why. Nails turned out perfectly shiny. I had a horrific event where I went to a salon and they ruined my hair and trusted no one with my hair till I met Becker! I now have moved to Houston and I travel to Greenwich to get my hair done by Becker.. totally worth it. I don't go as often as I wished but it's nice to be able to trust someone! Becker knows what he's doing. I am really, really picky about my blonde color... I had a long-standing colorist for years, but recently moved up to Greenwich and needed to find someone new. I went in for hair painting/balayage and barely had to tell him what I wanted. My color is bright, natural, and exactly what I wanted. Other details - the salon space is gorgeous. All the normal perks like extra conditioning treatments and coffee/tea etc. Everyone in the salon is super helpful and nice - including a very sweet front-desk girl who's name I did not catch. All in all, I highly recommend Becker for blonde highlights / hair painting / balayage. His work is fantastic. Turns out they do everything, too - manicures, make up etc. Read Less

Was greeted by a very friendly woman who not only offered water but gave one of the best cappuccinos I've had in a while!I asked for a cold wash and was the most relaxed in their massaging washing chairs. Unfortunately, my stylist didn't listen to me at all. I asked for a "conservative trim 2-3in MAX no layers". She cut off 5, gave my whole head layers. This cut ruined my face shape... I can never wear it down.... And I'm now taking supplements to try to fix it as soon as possible. I'm very very sad about this whole thing (leaving out all of the frustration with the refund, miscommunication, etc). Read Less

Always a great experience! Lovely staff very respectful, honest and professional. It is all about good customer service. As you walk in the gentlemen at the front desk will offer coffee/water/tea/food, take your coat and purse, etc. Everyone is always helpful and very polite. The salon is very beautiful and extremely clean. I am very satisfied with my haircuts/hairdos. I got my makeup done for a wedding once and absolutely loved it! My hair has never looked so good! The experience (yes, it was an experience) started with a 15 minute shoulder massage, followed by balayage perfected by Becker, fantastic chairs for the wash & rinse, and a cut that makes my hair look full and gorgeous.  I continue to get comments 2 weeks after being at the salon.  It is a beautiful salon that will make you feel like a million bucks!
