Smooth Sands was in a great location and Piper's space was very clean and welcoming, but I would not recommend Smooth Sands for eyelash tinting. Piper was quite hurried when she was doing my lashes. When I ask her to redo the corners and roots where she had missed, she told me no one would notice, and hurriedly tried to fix them to appease me but still didn't get all the way to the roots or the corners. I've had my lashes tinted at many different locations, and getting all the way to roots and corners makes a huge difference on blond lashes and pale skin. Read Less

I came across Piper's business on Yelp because I wanted to start seeing someone regularly for Brazilian and eyebrow waxes. I had tried out Brazilian waxing for the first time on a 3-visit Groupon to somewhere else; I enjoyed the results but wasn't satisfied with the service. I have had 2 visits with Piper and each have been excellent. She's quick with her service without lacking quality and attention (no missed patches on either visit). And when I say quick, that is not a bad thing.... I personally want the whole unpleasant removal of hair part to be done with ASAP ;) Both times she's been very easy to talk to, asking what's going on with me and even telling a couple of her own fun stories. She's even answered all of my random questions about the process, which I imagine is a bit odd to her that I'm so curious about it.Overall, this is exactly what I was looking for and I'm happy to support Piper. She's in her first year of business in this space (she's been an esthetician for years but at different salons). So happy to find Piper again! A few years ago I met Piper at another salon and since then I've seen different people for a wax but it just wasn't the same. The app for the appointment is super easy to use and has a few reminders sent to you so forgetting your appointment is impossible! If you need to change or adjust your appointment you can do it through the appointment  and quickly select a new time or cancel the appointment. Read Less
