I was really loving this place for a while, now, not so much. It's like many places that slow down after the grand opening. My nails are chipping and my pedicure is almost all worn off off, one day after the pedicure. I went back in and they grudgingly fixed a few fingers but not all. After I get gel, it usually lasts for at least a week or two. Why else pay the money for gel nails? I guess today was my last day with this place. Too bad. I really liked it at first. Read Less

I've been here twice so far, both for gel color manicures, and have had two great experiences!  Both times I had Sarah do my nails.  She's friendly, listens to what you want, and does a great job!  The first time I used a groupon and the second time they gave me the Groupon cost.  I feel like the prices are comparable to other good salons in town.  I will continue to come back.  Happy to have found a new favorite nail salon in town! The service is top notch bearing in mind I've just moved to slough. I've been going in with designs of my own and somehow the staff have done a great job each time. Can't wait for my next lot of shellac nails to be done... although this time I've realised the end part of shading the top of my nails hasn't been done too well and i can already notice some of it has come off or not simply been touched. By far the worst mani/pedi I have ever received. The pedi massage was a joke for the entire 15minute duration. It ultimately ended up being annoying. I could not wait for it to end. The polish very bumpy. As for the manicure I asked for no cuticles to be cut just pushed back but with the limited English all cuticles were cut. And then there is the polish... what can I say but bubbles bubbles bubbles on EVERY NAIL. This place is a joke. I was looking for a place closer to my home than Westport but I guess it was not to be. I have gone to the maidenhead store for over 5 years, and never had an problems and highly recommend them for their customer service and satisfaction. However had a shellac pedicure done on my nails on 05 September, 12 days later the colour has faded. On my nails is the same colour I had on my feet) yes I have been on holiday and suncream can ruin the colour but I can assure you you handle more suncream with your hands than your feet so why has the colour not done this on m...y nails - and it's because I've seen it with my own eyes - the colours are watered down with Aceton, I don't do this with the products I have at home - which is what I did with my hands. And as I have done the shellac course I know that this will break done the colour polymers - as that is what Aceton does to shellac. I called the slough store and booked to have this looked at for 11, it was 11.15 before I got served and then was told that guarentee would only last for 5 days, so no refund or having them re done would be offered but they could buff them down - which ruins the state of my natural nails as CND also only recommend filing the free edge, and this isn't doing the shellac correctly. Also I was incorrectly charged £25 for this as on the website it says £22 for this service. Very rude and dismissive staff members are also in the slough store. You've just lost a loyal customer! To be frank, I'm surprised at the positive reviews. I gave two stars only because the people here are kind and the salon is very pretty and clean. That's it. In regards to doing nails, this place needs better improvement. I came here with my mom and we both got gel manis and regular pedis. I did not appreciate how the nail polish was sloppily put on...I have polish that goes past my cuticles. It wasn't clean or neat. Also that same day the polish on my mom's toes already came off that same night. Both my mom and I addressed our concerns with the workers and they were kind in listening to us and fixing the issue, but there are other places that I will go to get my nails done. Also it would be great if you guys would stop trying to upsell everything, I understand business is business, but it makes a supposedly relaxing experience, a nuisance. Read Less

Came here for my second visit And this place seems to never disappoint. Sarah is great! All the staff there are also great. I didn't have an appointment and the place was pretty crowded and most people had an appointmentBut they took me right away which was a big plus.The decor of the place is very pretty and it has a semi upscale feeling.I think I found my new go to spot!Once of things I love too is that when they give you the bill they explain it to you first before you pay which is awesome. So I guess this place is currently known as H1 Nail Spa. My first experience there was positive. The facility is upscale & clean. I had a pedicure which I paid $25 for and I received great service and it included the paraffin treatment on my heels. The second time that I returned I received the same EXACT service and they charged me 15 extra dollars??? I was so pissed I couldn't wait to get out of there. Needless to say I never returned! I brought my girlfriend here and she absolutely loves the environment there! As for me, it was a comforting setting! Upon walking into the store, there was a pleasant welcome from everyone there! As you walk into the store, it feels like you entered another realm, giving you a nice oriental feeling; quite heavenly if I must say! The amount of services that the store provides is great! As my girlfriend came there to get her nails done, I was there for foot reflexology. After going through the foot massage session, it was very refreshing! Was very disappointed. I've been here once before (in April last year) and they did a pretty good job. This time, however, I was disappointed. I walked in and there were printed signs up everywhere about "we appreciate you paying in cash" and "please tip our employees fairly." They also now charge $3 extra for certain regular nail polishes. A lot of the polishes looked really old and unused and were starting to separate(see my picture.) I had gel on my fingers and, since I was getting a regular manicure, they charged me $5 to take off the gel. I've never been charged for that if I was purchasing another manicure, regardless of what kind. Lee did an EXCELLENT job on my nails and she did nothing wrong, but I left unhappy with the experience because the business has changed a lot since the last time I was there. Read Less

I was going to write a glowing review, because the service and the man who did my pedicure were absolutely wonderful, however, the woman behind the counter (owner maybe?) completely ruined my experience here and is the reason I will not be returning. I had an unused gift card that I presented when it was time to pay, and this woman would not let me use it because it was ripped. Apparently the other side of the gift card, that had come off after spending so much time in my wallet, is IMPERATIVE to being able to use the gift card - even though it has absolutely no information on it that pertains to when the gift card was purchased, how much is on it, etc. all it shows is the name of the salon (which is also on the other side of the gift card). She expected me to go get the other half and then come back to use it, and this time to pay out of pocket for the pedicure. I could have dealt with this if she had not been so rude and condescending. A wonderful, relaxing pedicure experience ruined by this awful woman. I will not be back.Read Less
