DO NOT GO HERE! Trust the bad reviews! I originally gave them 3 stars but after my last visit I cannot reccomend. Here is why my family, friends & I will never go here again. 1.) They smoke in back room area! The smoke drifts into customer area! We literally got pedicures and delt with second hand smoke. Ridiculous. 2.) They cut my Mother’s foot! Too aggressive. They had to get a towel to stop the bleeding & get bandages! No “sorry’s” or discounts. Still shocked. 3.) They do not give discounts if you bring in your own nail color (in case you want to touch up chips at home). I let this go. But when I went to leave I realized they didn’t give me back my nail polish. Went to go find it & they couldn’t find it anywhere! No joke, they & myself spent 20 minutes searching! Don’t know how they loose a nail color (it’s not any brand they have) in a short period. Worst part is after they gave up looking they didn’t bother to tell me. Had me sitting around waiting while they went back to working on other people! I had to get up & ask for money for my brand new nail polish! He offered a gift certificate but why would I ever come back!? 4.) They are expensive. Work is not worth the prices. Massages last 2 minutes and they rush you around. 5.) On 90 degree days they do not turn on the air conditioning! We checked the weather channel app & it was 90 degrees while we were there. Very uncomfortable. Manager had no explanation to why it was off. Take our bad experiences as a warning. We will be going to another salon from now on. Terrible experiences. Gets worse & worse every time you go. At first, I was in love with place. Yes, they take longer to do a service than most places, but the gel nail polish will last until you take it off. They are generous with massages while you are getting your nails done and the girl I had always did my french perfectly. The girl that does my lashes is also very good and the lash prices are better than most places. Recently, however, they have messed up my appointments. I had to wait 45 minutes in between getting my lashes done and getting my nails done. Most recently, I made an appointment for a gel manicure on my lunch break and had to wait 30 minutes. I explained to them that the purpose of making an appointment was to be seen at that time, I explained I was on my lunch break. I was seen at that point. They did not offer a discount or even offer a free chair massage during my wait due to their mistakes. They do not understand the meaning of customer service. Additionally, the base color for my manicure was chosen for me, not my choice but it took an additional amount of time because I was distracted watching TV before I noticed my nails were pink. I should have gotten up and left then, but I let the girl finish. I was therefor 1.5 hours for a gel manicure. Basically, customer service is poor, gel quality is good. Read Less

Just had an amazing spa pedicure with Nicole. I used to live locally and would come to Red Carpet all the time. I'm in town for work and I'm so pleased to see that their quality and cleanliness remain as high as ever! Highly recommend. Red Carpet Nails and Spa has become my go to for my monthly Green Tea pedicure. I have lived in Enfield a long time and have been looking for the perfect experience. Pleasant, calm atmosphere, clean and sanitary, excellent nail and foot care, a thorough massage, and finally English speaking.   Red Carpet ranks near the top in these categories.  English speaking is still a dream though. My last technician was Nicole. She is fantastic. My nails are beautifully done.  The massage was deep and included my toes.  (You'd be surprised how many times a foot massage excludes the toes.)  After the wonderful pedicure I took a chance on a manicure as well.  Also perfectly done. In full disclosure I have had one of the worst experiences here as well. I pointed it out to the management and he arranged for a free pedicure. I have not seen that technician again. Very pushy and deceiving. I waited a very long time with my feet in the water for a pedicure. When he finally got there he did a quick pedi and cut my big toe! He was in such a hurry not worth what I paid for. They are more attentive when they are not busy and do a much better job. But the manager is always trying to fit way too many people in and makes the quality go down. And he's so pushy about cash tip. He demands a tip for every service. I did a full set gel mani, a pedi and eyebrows and I was kinda pushed to tip each person individually and it had to be cash. Why can't I just tip on my card for all services? I went for the first time yesterday. Got there at 9:10 AM and was greeted immediately. I picked my color and that's when probably the best pedicure I've ever had started...An hour and 10 minutes later, I was done. I got a fabulous foot and leg massage, hot stone and towel treatment and, as the polish was drying, a FABULOUS head and neck massage! The place is enormous and CLEAN! I will be back. Read Less

Went for the first time today, very busy, was greeted right away.  I decided on a green tea pedicure, one of the middle priced pedicures.  They sat me right down and there was no wait and my tech Jessica was wonderful! Deceptive Practices I went in for a set of Gel Nails w/ gel polish where in most salons it would cost around $55.00. I got to the register and she said the total was $80.00. I will NEVER go back. I had 3 different people give me a neck and shoulder massage, I thought it was included in their price but apparently NOT. I paid for every time a person touched me. I absolutely recommend this place for pedicures, massages, waxing, and manicures. I love the attention, the atmosphere, the products and the longevity of the pedicures. I went for a pedicure & was seated right away with my feet in the water. No one came over to do the pedicure for 35 mins. So when I was completely fed up & took my feet out to leave, one of the staff said "no, put your feet in the water someone is coming over" he looked around to get someone's attention but I told him I had been waiting for 35 mins & I couldn't wait any longer.. Waiting that long without having anyone start is a little ridulous to me. Have been here before and it was fine. Very clean, nice people. However, someone walked in after me with their mom an they were taken first. The man told me it was lunch time and it would be 5 minutes. Ok, when someone finally came out, he did my feet and was anything but gentle. I went in on Mothers day for a gel manicure. Was treated well, enjoyed the massage. Due to high volume of customers the owner had to do my manicure. He encouraged me to come back again as I usually go to another salon. It turned out great. I even posted pics on FB. But within a few days I had a rough spot and visible wear on my middle finger, then my index finger. Then I had major chips on the middle and ring fingers. At my first opportunity I went back to show them the issu...e and have them re-done. I got a fake shoulder rub for about 45 seconds. The tech proceeded to just fix the messed up fingers and repaint instead of giving me a full manicure. No hand massage, no lotion. Since they screwed up or use inferior products it ended up wasting time out of my day. For my trouble and for good customer service they should have gone the extra mile to secure a patron. Went in to get a full set of gel nails it started off ok but then she cut my cuticle n didn't wipe it she put gel over the blood. I said something but I don't think she understood she said to late they are thick n uneven I have short n long nails. It was a horrible experience. Then I noticed people were paying tips to everyone that touched there feet n hands so your paying for the service then like 3 tips. I will never go back. I went for a friend's wedding to get a Polish change on my gel nails and a basic pedicure. The woman did a terrible job on my nails. One corner is round the other corner in squared. I prefer squared. I asked her to fix them and she said they were fine. She had a bad attitude and kept rolling her eyes at me. Not only did my nails look terrible but a Polish change and a pedicure should not be $100.40!!!!! The pedicure was $30 so my nails were $70???? To simply change the polish? Never again!!!!! I wish I could give this no stars. This was literally the worst experience I have ever had at a salon. I was not greeted by anyone for at least 15 minutes and when I was I was rushed to a pedicure chair that was filled with freezing cold water. I then had to wait 25 minutes while the woman finished another pedicure all the while watching some horribly loud movie in a language that not of the other patrons could understand. The woman next to me asked me twice if I could unders...tand what was going on and of course I didn't. When the woman showed up to do my pedicure I told her the water was freezing and she ignored me twice. She then did the worst pedicure I've ever had. She pretty much soaked my feet rubbed some lotion on them, took off my nail polish and repainted them. She also got up to help no less than 4 customers while she was doing my pedicure.I was shocked that I was paying $35 for this. This horrible establishment also has a sign saying 20% off pedicures so I figured that the pedicure would be about $28 but she told me this discount was already built in. Seriously so you jacked up your prices?!?! There is no discount. I told the woman that the sign is false advertisement but she again ignored me. She then took off with my purse and around the corner to the cash register and said pay now. So I paid her the $35 as much as it pained me.Then she practically threw my purse into one of the drying chairs and told me to sit. When I sat she tried to give me a massage and I told her I didn't want one and then she mumbled something and walked away. This was literally the worst experience I have EVER had at a salon and I get my nails done every two weeks at Tranquility at the mall. I don't pamper myself with mani/pedi's often, so when I do, I want it to actually feel like I'm being pampered. This is the 3rd time I've been to Red Carpet and every time I have felt like I am the most important person in the salon. Every tech I've had has taken their time to make sure the job is done well. I honestly believe the leg/foot massage is therapeutic to the nerve damage that I have -- my usual pain is greatly reduced or non-existent for days afterward. Thanks for your great service! Worst service (or lack there of). I arrived ebook in hand looking forward to a relaxing experience. I was greeted by a young man who prepared a warm soak and then left. Another young man assigned to complete my pedicure never did. I read quietly and waited, as I waited new customers arrived. Choi a female nail tech arrived to complete my pedicure and became upset because I only wanted a basic pedi. She then left to work with another customer. Really, my money isn't green. I politely gathered my things and left wet feet and all. The young man who prepared my soak tried to stop me, but by then I didn't trust that good service would be provided. Love this place!! My pedicures last for almost a month!! Some faces change but a lot of the techs have been there for years. It is always clean and you can become a member and get you own assigned tools for $5. Yes, they prefer tips in cash but won't fight you on putting it on a card. They have a few nice touches with their regular pedi that I haven't found elsewhere such as their hot stone foot massage and shoulder rub at the nail dryer. Super friendly staff as well! Read Less

I was so excited to find this place and very happy with my initial visit, THEN .... 2 days after I started to see green coloring under my nails and realized I had concocted a nail fungus. I went back to have the nails removed and the entire time the OWNER filed, scraped and did whatever to get these off, he said repeated over and over in his 12 years of service, he has seen acrylic nails get fungus, but never gel. Unfortunately, I had gel. I have NEVER had any type of nail fungus, and I certainly didn't walk in with one, or they would have mentioned it, but magically two days after having theirs applied ... I know have it.It happened, whatever!! What is done is done and I have no intentions of getting gel nails ever again. The part of all this that is so maddening is I never asked for my money back, even though I spent $80 for absolutely nothing. Yes, folks EIGHTY dollars for gel nails!! I am now leaving their shop with no nails, and the owner has the nerve to charge ME $10 for removing them!!! I reminded him that I never asked for my money back, was being reasonable, but I found it outlandish that he was going to charge me MORE money on top of the loss I had just taken!! One might think as a token of compassion and to keep a happy customer from going viral on the internet, he might make a concession. He said he didn't care, and he said it several times too. I guess when they are taking in the cash they are friendly and accommodating, but when there is a problem, they are willing to lose business and reputation over $10 bucks and have no regard for customer satisfaction.
