Came in here for a pedicure(east haven). They were timely the girl was nice. When I had called I asked for someone who really focuses on the heels. She rushed the whole thing. I politely pointed out my heels were still rough and she told me, she did them and proceeded to continue. I literally dried and left. I had to go home a finish scrubbing them myself. Very annoyed. They are a good place , I recommend it , but I don't highly recommend it. If you make an appointment they don't really ever take you on time. The worse is when I go for my eyebrows and I see the girl walking around( she knows how to do eyebrows ) and she doesn't take anyone. Again it's a good place just there timing is not the best. Overall she did a really good job with my nails. Except I asked for a basic nail polish manicure and she ended up using gel which cost over $10 more! Also she didn't do a hand massage because she didn't know how and was asking other employees how to fix my broken nail. She also tested the cuticle cutter on herself then continued using it on me (WHAT?). Overall the salon wasn't very clean. It looks like they haven't cleaned in a week or 2, which gave me major anxiety. I would give them 1 star if my nails didn't come out well. Honestly, I'd prefer not going back. Read Less

It doesn’t matter if I tell them what I want my nails to look like or show them a picture of how it should look like when it’s finish I still get my nails fucked up! If I complain again they want to act like I want my nails done for free! But every time I get my nails done there I’m tipping $5.00. Not this time because I’m sick of the shit! I asked not to have a new person do my nails because I shouldn’t have to pay full price for a trainee to do my nails! She seems like a nice enough young lady and will some day be great at it but not today!!! I’m so unhappy with how my nails look I want to cry!!! As a man going in nail salon the idea is scary but sometimes you need your feet done after running so many months and why not get your nails cleaned as well. First off everyone spoke English something I didn't expect and they were mostly young women who greeted me with respect . They let me know the amount of time I had to wait. I go every two wks and see kim she does beyond great work and always accomodates whatever i want done for colors and designs , everyone is really down to earth and nice i have no issue , plus its like a block from home so far i have never had any issue , in over a year i had two nails break only of my own fault, and ive never had to replace a set or had any problems Read Less

I've been going to LV since they opened now for my eyebrows and I honestly wouldn't go any place else they always have a chair open (if you know what times to go or know to call ahead) & I always get what I asked for without any issue. I go lv nails in west haven. My girl Ly works there and I have been her customer for over 10 years. I follow her wherever she goes. Lv nails west haven everyone is friendly and it's clean and its convenient for me literally down the street. Ly always takes me even if last minute calling. No complaints I sit Down and she does her magic. Pedi and fills with gel polish in and out in an hour and very reasonable in cost. Read Less

made an appointment for 2 people, 1 fill and 1 full set, got a set price. although they were really nice, we had to wait a good 15 mins past our appointment time, then they had one person who wasnt the best doing both of our nails so we were there for about another 2 hours. Defeats the point of an appointment of you ask me. Then we got over charged. Called the next day and told them and they agreed but didn't offer any thing. Recently visited LV Nails salon and I must admit it was the best experience! I got my eyebrows done and got my eye lashes done. Annie did an amazing job and I left feeling fabulous!!! It takes a lot to be able to trust someone to do beauty with your face, but I had no doubt trusting Annie. I got my eyebrows microbladed 3 days ago and they look great! No pain and no complains! I have been a customer for over 2 years on and off and I recently went in to get a polish change because the gel I had on had peeled on a couple of my nails and when I called to see if someone could take me they said yea come in 20 mins so I did. One of the older ladies said she could do the polish change and she proceeded to file the gel off and sand my nails and in the midst of it she ran the electric file over two of my cuticles on my left hand and just kept going. When I... went to pay she tells me for clear gel it was going to be $18.00 mind you I had been in exactly a week ago to the day and when I questioned it they said oh that's the price because you got gel polish. I love the way they do my nails every time I go and I've never had a problem paying what they charge but for a simple color change to cost me $18.00 is where I feel like I'm being ripped off.
