I am very upset with the service of this salon. My friend and I got there around 5:30 and had to wait 40 minutes for a manicure. On another note, many of the ladies there always looked at us and gave us dirty looks for talking. The lady who did my nails rushed through the entire process. When she was pushing my cuticles back, she in no way was gentle at all and actually hurt my fingers. She did two coats and I could still see through the polish on some nails! She messed up on almost every single nail, and had to take the polish off my finger with her nail. There was so much on my finger and not on my nail that she had to use nail polish remover and still didn't get it all. While I was waiting, the ladies in front of me all got warm towels and massages while their nails were drying but I didn't and neither did my friend. 10 minutes after my manicure, two of my nails were already chipped. Definitely a fan. I don't believe they thin down their nail polish, which is a HUGE plus in my book. I have had my mani/pedi since Saturday and I don't have one chip yet (knock on wood for me), and this is highly unusual for me. Typically my manicure is done for within 3 days, if that. They also give you a 15 minute massage after you're done with your services. Yes, 15 minutes! They have massage girls walking around and honestly, they must be professionally trained because their massages are totally unreal, that I wind up tipping them more than I do for my manicure. They also use a hot towel on your shoulders half-way through. I need this woman in my life every single day.Jade also posts their free Wifi information on the wall, which I greatly appreciate... There is nothing worse than not being able to play Candy Crush while getting a pedicure :PPrices are extremely reasonable for Darien ($33 for both), however, no tips on credit cards, bring cash! I go to Jade regularly and over the past 3 years they have consistently done a great job. Salon is very large so appointments are not necessary. Sometimes there is a short wait but typically less than 10 mins. Pedicures include nice hot stone massage. They also do a complimentary massage while you are drying ( not always if they are packed). Overall a very nice place. Suggestion: stay open on Sundays Read Less

I chose to get a mani pedi here because they have a decent price for Darien.  I was disappointed when the employees were yelling to eachother to talk across the room. Then, the woman working on my nails was talking in Spanish to the woman to her side about who of their was sleeping with who and then they began to repeat the word "chucha" over and over again and giggled. I may not look like I speak Spanish, but I know enough to know that that is an inappropriate term to be yelling at my place of work...My mani pedi was fine but the service was lack luster. I tipped and she didn't even thank me. Probably not going back again soon. Read Less
