I have been going here for about a year. If I went else where I would be cheating on them lol. Every time I get my nails done they come out looking wonderful, I have good conversation with the nail techs and they know my name! This was my first visit and I was pretty impressed. I love how my nails came out and I will be returning. I had Lisa as my nail tech. The place was clean and the staff was friends. Price for acrylic fill is $18 however, I had gel polish so I was charged an extra $3 to take the Gel polish off. This was never charged $3 for taking Gel polish off at any other location. Read Less

I used to come here and recently just started coming back. I do agree 25$ for a full set is pretty nice.. both of my recent appointments with Leah have been great she shaped and painted my nails right I was totally satisfied with the end result and have fairly lasted me a little while.. I just got a fresh full set the same week of Christmas I got a light nude color my first color and I got a deep red for Christmas that I thought was festive for my first refill.. already both of my thumb nails popped off which I was very disappointed of. I booked my next appointment this Friday for my birthday.. it'd be nice if she didn't charge me for both the replacement nails since I just got my set not even 3-4 weeks ago.. we'll see how next time goes. Still every time I do walk out my nails are super beautiful. I'll be sure to mention that I need my nails to last me a long time next time I sit in the chair. Over all that's the only reason why I didn't give this place a full 5 stars was because the two nails came off other than that they did a great job and I didn't have to wait long. Finally found a nail salon in the area that doesn't do a horrible job AND rip me off for tips with UV Gel and Color Gel! Most of the salons in Brookfield, New Milford and Danbury charge an insane amount of money for this.  I used to swing by nail salons when in NYC to get realistic prices and much better service. So incredibly disappointed by this place. Went on Saturday to get a gel manicure and pedicure (I have been here just a handful of times prior, since moving to the area) and was actually very pleased with my nails when they were done. Sunday was no more or less active than any other day. Monday morning though, I woke up and noticed a huge chip on my big toe of my pedicure and two chips on two different nails of my left hand (I'm right-handed)! I was shocked since my pedicures have never chipped this early in all of my years of getting them. I tried to ignore the chips but the ones on my fingers kept getting worse over the next two days; gel peeling back further and creating bigger chips on the existing bum nails and then more cracks on four other nails! I called Wednesday (three days later) and asked if I could come back in and have my nails redone that afternoon. On the phone, the girl was very polite and told me to come down. When I got there though, I sat down and had three women looming over me staring at my nails (as if I had caused this type of damage myself or something!) until one girl told me she could simply fix the two obviously busted nails. I told her I was unhappy with the cracks on the other nails as well and asked if I could simply have them redone since I was just there three days prior! She quizzed me on who did my nails, asked me to point the girl who did them out (she wasn't there) and then told me if I wanted my nails re-painted; I would have to pay. I couldn't believe it! I reiterated that I had JUST paid $70 (before tip!) on Saturday and wasn't going to pay to have them redone, so if that were the case; she could just take the polish off. The woman doing my nails then proceeded to spend a solid 5 minutes OBVIOUSLY talking about me to the gentleman and two other female employees standing in the salon; even calling so much attention to the fact that I was the topic of conversation that the other employees were coming over me and checking out my nails as she started to buff the gel. After they discussed me back and forth over the 5 minutes, only at that point did one of the other women come over and tell me I could just get my nails redone without paying. I was already so disgusted by the treatment and their behavior during that time that I politely declined and told her I just wanted the existing polish off. Then the girl doing my nails reiterated that now, she would paint my nails for free if I wanted. Why was that even a problem to begin with!? That should have been the solution as soon as I pointed out all of the other cracking nails only three days after getting them done! Unbelievable. (45 minutes) Rescheduled my first appointment to later in the week- I arrived 5 minutes early to wait 15 minutes to be told she was running late and would be with me shortly- after waiting 45 minutes with no hope in sight - I walked out! Unfortunately had a bad experience here the other day. Went in for a fill and the older woman did it...she was very nice but didn't kno what she was doing. Not only did it take forever but i had 10 different shapes going on.. 1 coffin some square some skinny square. Some were thin some weren't. They looked like a hot mess. I am the pickiest person when it comes to getting my nails done! I have been to practically every single nail spa in the area and have never been as pleased like I am at Michelles!!! Though they are a little busy sometimes, I suggest making an appointment because you wont regret it. My favorite nail technician is Brian!! He is the gentlest most experienced nail tech I have ever met. He takes his time and makes sure that you're 100% satisfied every step of the way. The only thing I'd suggest for Michelles would be to add on more nail designs like ombré and 3d... besides that they do offer chrome or "holographic" nails. I went to this salon 1/23/17 and I honestly wouldn't go back. I asked for a gel set and the woman still applied acrylic powder. The set was nice but it's not what I wanted. I also asked for a design (which she said she could do) and even if she couldn't, I would've appreciated the honesty. Once the woman began the design I knew I wasn't going to be happy. She asked if I liked it and I told her no but she made me cure the nail anyway, continued to paint the design that I told her I DIDN'T like and she laughed because she knew it was terrible. I made an appointment for SNS nails, which not many salons offer. I was excited. When I arrived to the salon it was busy, which to me was a good sign. Then... I waited over 30 min past my appointment time to get my nails done. The nail technician left me for over 30 min with the foil on my nails to take off the polish. She wouldn't have even filed my nails had I stopped her and asked for my nails to be cut and filed. My nails are still very jagged, and I will need to go home and file them. My nails look okay, but it seems as though the SNS was not correctly applied as the nail polish is rough to the touch. At the end of the appointment, I assumed there would be filing/ cuticle oil, cuticle nipping/ a hot towel.. anything. The nail technician slapped some lotion on my hands and that was it. I'm really disappointed as SNS is pricey. I have so much extra SNS polish under my nails and on the side of my nails.. my fingers feel grimy and dirty, they need to be filed desperately, there was nothing relaxing about this experience and they don't even look great. 2 hours later and I'm out $45 and just looking forward to getting home and washing my hands. I live in the Hudson Valley and was passing through the area to go to Danbury Mall and found this place. I got a deluxe pedi and a gel mani. The ladies are friendly and so attentive in their services. I felt relaxed knowing they were taking good care of me. They really took their time to make sure everything looked good and I loved it. I came here on a Wednesday and there was a short wait. Everyone seemed to be a regular so it was great to know that the locals love this place. I have tried so many places in the area (Sandy Two in Brookfield, Sandy in Bethel, Toe Toe, Bella, Candlewood Nails, W Nail, Brookfield Nails) Michelle Nails is a great salon! I usually dread getting my nails done--the stinky chemicals, the terrible decor, the surly techs. But not here! It has none of those things and they do a beautiful job. I Finally found the most perfect nail salon around here.  I got a pedicure and they have these plastic covers they place into the tubs to keep things sanitary! and they have complimentary drinks. I checked out the nail designes and they have tons of them! It's a little small but the plastic pedicure tub covers will keep me coming back! Read Less

I have been going to Michelle Nail Spa for a couple of years now, and the salon is always clean and neat. The people most accommodating and friendly. I recently had a pedicure done at the salon... what a nice experience. No worries at all for those that are DIABETIC... they use disposable liners in the foot tubs.. so every customer has their own liner, then it gets thrown away... What a worry free environment.
