This place was horrible they charge so much for absolutely no reason. I ask for gel nails the try to charge me 20 dollars more in top of the 55 for longer nails. They do not clean properly and poor customer service. I try calling because on of my nails came off the next day and it says the phone is not connected. Do not go there they will steal your money and do a horrible job

This is honest the best place to get your nails done not only do they take pride in their work and make sure it’s done properly, they also actually care about their customers they’re prices are reasonable and their work is flawless I’m definitely going to be a regular here and i hunk everyone else should try them out I can’t stress enough how great this place is -Dai

Took over two hours, shape was not what I wanted, didn't ask how I long I wanted them, cut me while filing, and only one person could do extensions. Only one other customer was in there the entire time, so that definitely says something. Will not return, nor do I reccomend.

These people don't know math. Aren't they supposed to be good in math being a business owner? I went for an acrylic FILL with gel polish and I was charged $55 when I was looking at the menu that showe...
These people don't know math. Aren't they supposed to be good in math being a business owner? I went for an acrylic FILL with gel polish and I was charged $55 when I was looking at the menu that showed $30. I let it go and still tipped her (stupid me) and that was the owner Athena. I called today to see if there was any inconsistencies and I asked "how much is acrylic fill with gel polish" she told me $30. I went off and said then why did you charge me $55 last time for acrylic fill with gel polish. Then she started adding fees and she said $15 for gel polish. I lost it and just hung up on her. I'm so tired of these nails spots charging what they want rather than what's posted and making shit up as they go. It's not a language thing because math is the same in every language so they cannot give me that crap. If anyone knows of a HONEST nail spot that knows how to do nail please let me know. I live in Danbury, CT. Everyone else avoid this place. ALSO, they don't accept AMEX. CASH tip only.....

Went into Athena Nails & Spa as a walk-in with a girlfriend from work at 6pm (they close at 7pm mon-fri) after being turned away at another salon up the road bc they didn't have room for walk-ins. Tri...
Went into Athena Nails & Spa as a walk-in with a girlfriend from work at 6pm (they close at 7pm mon-fri) after being turned away at another salon up the road bc they didn't have room for walk-ins. Tried Athena on a whim bc it was close and open...very glad we did!! I got a $35 gel powder manicure which came out flawless and my friend got a $25 Gel Manicure which was absolutely beautiful as well! We were treated like royalty including a complimentary massage and paraffin dip treatment. The staff was extremely polite, attentive and even stayed 15 mins after close to complete our manicures since we were end of day walk-ins. Salon was absolutely immaculate and easily located on Newtown Rd across from AFC Urgent Care & Aspen Dental. Highly recommend Athena! Treat yourself to some quality pampering for an extremely reasonable price!!!

This place was horrible they charge so much for absolutely no reason. I ask for gel nails the try to charge me 20 dollars more in top of the 55 for longer nails. They do not clean properly and poor customer service. I try calling because on of my nails came off the next day and it says the phone is not connected. Do not go there they will steal your money and do a horrible job
