THIEVES, LIARS, CHEATS, CROOKS! I found this place online because it was nearby, they were the only place with services and prices posted online and the prices were very reasonable. Lower leg waxing was priced at $25, when I got there they had a price chart hanging that said 'Leg $25 +'. I thought great, that's obviously the lower leg because that's the smallest wax area on the leg. The wax job was terrible, 'Jenny' was training a women 'Rey' and they broke most of my hairs and left me with stubble! I just wanted to leave so I went to pay, Jenny charged my card for over $45!! I was shocked and pointed out it should have been $25! She argued with me that she never posted her prices and that she didn't put any prices online and she refused to honor her price on the wall or even answer me on what exactly was $25 to wax on the leg! Horrible horrible place! Don't go here, they're thieves! And in addition I just saw that there's a review from their own employee about a gel manicure for $20! That's a lie! This place has cheap prices for a reason. The quality is and service was terrible. It hasn't even been a week and all the color on my gel manicure has lifted. The WORST nail salon I have ever walked into. Called early and made appts for 2 people and when we walked in there was one tech and one customer so we waited until the 2 other employees came from outside. I sat down with a chubby lady and short hair which didn't even say hi and just grabbed my nails...which she did an awful job on, she didn't clean my cuticles or even ask me to wash my hands before polish so the nail polish is all bumpy now. My friend who was seated with a guy was asked to get up because a walk in came in, which she was okay with bc he looked intoxicated. Then she sat with the same lady who did mine and within 15 mins that lady left her to go do someone else's brows. When she came back she realized that she messed up her white tip so she repainted it with white nail polish which left a very visible underline. The nail tech apologized but blamed her "materials", which btw were all very very old and pretty sure they use the same file and buffer for every customer, on top of all that she charged us $75 in total for a fill, which on wall said $20 but for some reason she argued and told me it's $30 and a crappy job of a new set. I've been to over 15 nail salons and have never received worse service in life so please save your money and time and go somewhere, anywhere but happy nails because you def won't be happy when you leave. This was my girlfriends first time coming here, very difficult finding quality affordable nail salons in the area who charge 5x more then these folks- a pedi for for $20 whaaaaaat???? , she is very satisfied, the staff here is very kind and they are focused on service! I would really like to give this nail salon no stars, but one was the least. As a minority I am disgusted with this place. I live in Bristol and frequently went to this location. Both of my bad experiences came about at the hands of the owner Jenny. Although I had one bad experience I gave her another chance and was disappointed again. I have watched how she has turned minorities away telling them to come back but asking white customers to wait 5 minutes. This occurred my last time there. She has given me a fill and on both occasions told me I didn't have to wash my hands. But I see her asking Caucasians to go wash their hands but she told me she doesn't do that until after. Smh. I've been there twice now for a fill and everytime I get one done it's the same lady rushing to finish my nails. My nails are uneven there's paint on my fingers and she didn't even bother to oil my cuticles. Then I asked if they had dry enamel spray to speed up the drying process & all the lady did was take my hand out from under the dryer and say yup all dry! Read Less

Jenny does excellent job with nails and pedicures! Used to go to her at Jenny Nails in South Windsor YEARS ago, and was VERY happy to discover that she is now in Bristol!! The prices here can't be beat, a gel manicure for $20!!!! I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Most speak english fluently also, a big plus! Read Less

Below average service for average costs. There was a wait (and that's fine), however, you need to acknowledge your customers and make them feel wanted (and not just for their $$). The staff rushed with my manicure, accidentally cutting my nail and made me bleed a little. Not all of the color was taken off from my previous manicure and yet they added a whole new polish over it (you can still see the old color). The manicure itself was subpar...and looked as if I did it at home (and felt that way too). The place and tools did not appear the most sanitary. I was sitting at the table to dry my nails for 10 minutes until another patron made a comment that the fan wasn't even on...overall poor attention to detail, I did not feel relaxed, nor do I think I will come back to this salon. So I use to go to Hollywood nails in Bristol but they kept cutting me and my last experience I bled and they didn't do what I wanted. So I then found Happy Nails and the experience was completely different! Jenny listened to me and then while doing my nails proceeded to ask me if I liked the shape and that she wasn't hurting me which was a breath of fresh air and not only that but she also got my acrylic to be the most natural looking they have ever been!!!
