I could probably write two full pages on how much I adore Bethel Day Spa. From the moment you enter you feel pampered. I started going just to help strengthen my nails after years of fake nails-it was the best manicure I have ever had and I have had thousands. Next I started with shellac- Amisha uses only the best products and my nails look and feel better then ever. Just had my first facial and my skin looks amazing and the experience was top notch. So flexible with appointments and I always look forward to going. The Spa also donates to local school fundraising with no hesitation. Tried to book an appointment via MyTime with this salon because of the good reviews. In my reservation, under notes, I noted that I wanted a Shellac manicure and that I wanted to be sure that the health of nails would be first priority because the previous salon I went to damaged them (filed them too thin). I promptly received a response from the service asking me what was wrong with my nails and why they were damaged. I would think, since you are a salon who CARES for nails, you would want to see them and speak to me directly. In fact, my nails are fine, they WERE damaged but are fine now and I am trying to keep them that way. I was made to feel like I was attempting to bring leprosy into her salon or something. Follow-up:While I appreciate you trying to rectify this situation with me, it doesn't change the series of events leading up to this review and I feel, the damage has been done. What you should have done from the start was scheduled my appointment (during which you would have received my contact info), then contacted me or waited until I came in for my appointment to take a look at my nails. Then, you would have best been able to tell me what you could, could not do for me. Instead, you simply refused my appointment without even speaking with me (which was not MyTime's fault as much as you'd like it to be). Who wouldn't be put off by that and choose to go elsewhere? I visited Amisha and the Bethel Day Spa for the first time last evening. I used Yelp to find a great reviewed salon and I am so happy it lead me to Amisha. I called at 4 to see if there were any appointments available for that evening, last minute. She was so friendly and flexible and was able to squeeze me in after a client at 6:15. I was looking for a good, clean relaxing spa pedicure and I found that and more. When I first arrived I realized it was in a residential neighborhood. A little confused I immediately saw the signs for Bethel Day Spa I recognized from Yelp and the website which I checked out before making an appointment. There was no confusion once I pulled in. The spa entrance was clearly marked and Amisha was there to great me right on time, with a warm and friendly smile. I immediately felt right at home.She brought me into the spa which was immaculate, relaxing and the perfect personal retreat. We sat down and chatted for a while, she offered me a cup of tea and I can say I easily enjoyed one of the most thorough relaxing pedicures of my life. The great thing about the spa is its your time. No interruptions and no stress. The spa is so hygienic. Everything is individual use and Amisha really takes pride in her work and building relationships with her clients, or as she likes to say, her friends. It was really evident as her next client came in that we are more than just clients. I loved the whole experience, my toes look great, my feet feel amazing and I cannot wait to go back.
