I went here yesterday because my original nail salon was packed all day. And my birthday was yesterday so I wanted them done ASAP. They did a pretty good job and they look great!! I came here on a recommendation. I have been going to Venus Nails over in Westminster until today. The nail tech was able to remove my ingrown toenails with no problem.   Prices are super reasonable and the service is great. They weren't to busy which was great. I will definitely be back. I got my nails done here a couple of times, the first time I just got a pedi. It was good and they did a good job and took the time required to do so. The second time I came in with my son, they rushed my pedicure, and by the time I got to my manicure they were just starting my son's pedicure. They stopped in the middle of his pedicure to start another customer, and came back to him almost 30 minutes later. They lady who did my manicure and pedicure was not that great. She caked the polish on so when it dries it looked like it was dripping and it has lots of bubbles in it. I got a Shellac polish that started to chip a day after I got it done. I called them to make an appointment to go back to get it fixed. When I showed up they wanted me to point out the lady that did my nails, when I didn't see her they went to the back to get her, and told me she would fix them. When I sat down she proceeded to tell me that this happened because of me and how I wanted the nail polish all the way up my nail. If I had asked for a space over the cuticle not to be covered it would not have chipped. The entire time she fixed my nails she told me how this was my fault. I will never return to this place again. I tried this place with my daughter yesterday and was thoroughly disappointed. I've never had to pay extra to have my feet exfoliated before. The tech pulled out this grinder that was not pleasant and hurt when she would hit the same spot over and over. She also missed several places. Last but not least the prices are really steep. Personally, I am not a big fan of my nail tech being visibly irritated at my request to soak off my current set and have a new one put on. And then to completely ignore that request and purposely do a shitty job. I tried to give this place a few chances after they sliced TWO of my fingers with a file on the first visit. Lesson learned. I recently went to the salon after not going there for years. VERY disappointed! My rebase looks awful. Polish gel is running off and very sloppy. My nails are all misshapen and different lengths . The man was very unfriendly and more interested in the TV. Very sad. I used to love to go there. Won't be going back ever! Read Less

Save your money !! I went in today to get my nails done  the man that did my nails not only did he shape my nails terribly but they where all different lengths and shapes not symmetrical at all I wanted "rounded/almond" shape. They where done so bad! He also had the nerve to say they would "look better pointy if you get pointy instead". Like thats not what I requested and if you don't know how to properly shape nails maybe get a different job because he truly is terrible at doing nails. I have tried this place about three years ago and was disappointed, my daughters asked me to try it again.Now you have three disappointed customers. The lady who waxed me missed over HALF of the hair I specifically was asking her to remove. Thank god I didn't let her touch my eyebrows! I had to ARGUE with her to get her to even wax my chin. ARGUE! I am paying you!!!! I ask same lady for a small simple flower. She goes to put a design on my toe, it looked like like hideous Christmas holly even with a stupid ugly green gem. I had to take it off when I got home and repaint. Why? Because I didn't want to have to ARGUE with her again.My daughters got their nails painted Halloween colors and asked for a design. The one lady didn't even paint all my daughters nails the same, her hands didn't even match...liked she had asked!! The painting was such a crap job that I could have done better at home. The other daugther asked for design, never got it. I can't believe this place stays in business with such poor staff working there. I have been to this place a few times, I can now say I will NOT be going back. The first couple of times I went in for a pedicure the women were great no issues. This last time a little man did my pedicure and even though he spoke perfectly good English he kept pointing and tapping when he wanted me to put my feet in or out of the water. I was in the area and pressed for time to go to my regular  nail tech, so I decided to get my rebase  and pedicure done here. Pedicure was fine but when it came to the rebase I wanted a new color change.He didn't file down my old layer just piled on a new coat, leaving them so thick they look hideous. The new color wasn't even solid,  leaving the old color coming through,  the underside was even worse.When I asked him he said it look good, like marble, I took my time, "day rook a real goo".   Yah thick as marbles on my fingertips!I came back in and asked him do do them over, he didn't want to do them, said I have to pay again.I am now waiting to have them redone,  I will let you know if they could fix their mistake and terrible work. I came here to get a shellac manicure because the place had good reviews. Wish I wouldn't have. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and still felt rushed through the the whole thing. The lady that started my "manicure" didn't make my nails shorter like I asked. She also did not remove all the dirt that I had under my nails from gardening all weekend.  Then, I picked a mauve purple color which turned out to be hot pink. My nails that were supposed to be subtle now look like a bight pink lollipop. On top of that, the massage lasted 60 seconds per hand ( I counted). I should have had them change the color, but I did not have time to stay longer. Will not be returning. Would have been 0/5 starts if Yelp would let me. Read Less

After desperately looking for a good nail place in Thornton and broken damaged nails from previous traumatizing experiences;  Elvis nails never disappoints I can tell they use good products and are always clean. Needed a last minute mani/pedi. Called at 6:30pm they said they closed at 7pm but to go ahead and come in.  They went above and beyond! I walked in at 6:45pm and they even let three more people come in after me...when they definitely could have turned us all away. Excellent Customer Service!!! I'm never one to write reviews but I just wanted to warn people about this nail salon.  They are by far the worst salon in Thornton. Customer service is definitely lacking in a major way. If you want horrible and unprofessional service this is the place to go. Please don't waste you're time, money and energy in this salon. I will never ever step a foot in there. I was yelled at by the owner for not being happy with how one of her employees messed up on my nails. Instead of simply trying to fix it she told me that there was nothing that she could do. I wanted to include my experience here because they did me a great favor the other night. I had a crazy day and I really needed a pedicure.  I was long overdue.I do usually make an appointment at another full service salon --however Elvis nails is very close to  my house. They close at 7 and I came in maybe 10 after 6. They were very busy full house. I waited patiently. They finally sat me in a chair ( It was a few mins because there was a lady in every seat) I waited closer to 20 mins before they started working on me. If i was in a hurry I would have been mad but they were really busy and I had a busy day myself so having some quiet relaxing time in the massage chair was exactly what I needed. They took care of me and I was the last customer in their shop. I was there even when they were obviously closing up --but still they took care of me. I write this as a review of appriciation  ; They served me even though they were busy . They let me relax for several mins alone--maybe the gal sensed I was stressed out. My nails look great and they even gave me student rates--few dollars less but still shows they're very appriciative of their customers. I will return earlier in the day when they're less busy.
