I’ve had two sets of acrylic nails done here in Dec 2017 and Feb 2018. Dec’s set lifted at the tip on 8 fingers. I thought it was bc the nail tech did not secure them well with enough glue. I rebased multiple times and had new tips to fix/maintain. New set in Feb set got air bubbles near the cuticles in under a week. After two weeks a nail completely popped off. The manicure is separate from the pedicure area of the salon. This is very nice because the atmosphere in the pedicure room is tranquil, dim, with sounds of running water and a humidifier to allows for a more comfortable pedicure. The pedicure techs use a small non abrasive light to see just the feet. The whole time making sure you have the most relaxing pedicure of your life. This salon has taken the time to make sure the the customer is very comfortable at all times down to the smell of soothing botanicals. This salon was very clean as well. My experience with this place for the first time was horrible. The first guy that did my full set was very rude, I asked for ballerina tip and a certain design, first of all he filed them down way to much on the sides to where my real nail was showing and the tips were uneven, I asked for matte and he did not want to do it, said it didn't last. So later I went back and asked for them to be fixed, she just took off polish and re did them. I would not recommend this place if you pay attention to detail and want your nails done right! The staff is friendly, professional, and very accommodating. The facility is clean and the equipment is sanitized and/or sterilized. I have been here several times and on each occasion, I have had a very pleasant experience. They offer you something to drink upon arrival, many options for services, and the prices are reasonable. my first experience was good. my nails came out fabulous with a design, I had many compliments, done by Thom. I had the peppermint pedicure and it was so relaxing from a girl (forgot her name) but she is a massage therapist and just moved here. my nail specialist moved out of state sadly to say.. its hard to find a good manicurist here. so I was impressed with my first experience. N.V. Nails has a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. Very clean. They even sterilize the instruments between each client, which is so much healthier for you then some of the chop-shop nail salons that I've been to. I would definitely recommend N.V.
