Looking for a salon where you will be pampered and feel like you're at a spa? This is probably not the place for you. Edge is a no-frills type of place, although they do offer coffee and tea. However, if you are just looking for a great deal on color/highlights and a trim, you're in luck. I purchased a Living Social deal which offered a cut, color or highlights, and style for only $29. I chose highlights, and Missy got right to work after a few quick questions about how I wanted them to look. After letting the color set for half an hour, we shampooed and hopped back in the chair for the cut. "Cut and style" to me implies a discussion about hairstyle, etc. This was much more like a "trim and dry." No lollygagging or indecision allowed. Again, this was not the place to be pampered. That being said, the color and cut looked great when she was done...I actually liked the end result better than I have at some fancier places. So if you like a bargain, don't care about gossip or bonding with your stylist, and know what you want going in, you should be pleased with the result. Read Less

Went because I needed a haircut and color and I also had a Weekly Plus Deal (now NCrowd).I was pleasantly surprised!! Had an appointment with Missy and it was awesome!! Explained exactly what I was looking for and she gave me a great haircut, color and highlights. I also got a $25 discount for my next visit. Do NOT go here to get your nails done. There is a weeklyplus deal for $19 60 min spa shellac manicure and pedicure with Tarah. And by spa manicure if you mean old shellac is left on, no cuticles pushed back or cut, polish under your nails and pooled at the sides then yeah its a "manicure". Worst ever. And after she did the polish she took a nail file and filed the edges of my nails causing the already bad polish job to pull up on the sides. I got this done 6 hours ago and I've already lost 2 1/2 nails worth of polish and scheduled a REAL manicure for tomorrow morning. So disappointed :( Please don't waste your money or time doing this deal.Read Less
